I haven't been listening to them for long, but man, they actually won me over.
They’ve got this specific sound—it’s aggressive, but it isn't just mindless noise or repetitive junk. And that frontman? Dude has an incredible voice.

So, what's the verdict? What do you guys think?

Water. Honestly, the only thing I’ll give them credit for is how they teamed up with N.W.A. to basically pave the way for that whole rap-metal fusion movement. 🙏

I don't mind them; they’ve got plenty of solid tracks in their catalog, though if I had to pick a favorite, it would definitely be
"Lose Yourself."
They aren't bad, per se, but let's be honest—it's nothing groundbreaking...

They were the very first band I ever obsessed over. It’s been about 18 years since then.
Honestly, regardless of what anyone else says—tastes are subjective, after all—to me, they just hit different. They have that raw energy and everything else you need to actually love a band.
Anyone heading to the concert in Chicago on June 15th?

The closest thing I’ll be getting to any kind of excitement is that trip to Europe—specifically heading toward Spain for that massive festival in Valencia, though it looks like I’m probably going to end up missing out on the whole thing... which is such a damn shame, because I was actually looking forward to it.

The '75 release "Toys in the Attic" is an absolute masterpiece. To me, the title track stands as the definitive 🙂 rock anthem of the entire decade. They even have "Lose Yourself"—minus the hip-hop influence—which honestly hits harder 😳, plus "Sweet Emotion" is such a massive hit. It was that specific moment in time where Aerosmith sounded like this wild, unholy fusion of Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones, and AC/DC 🙏 🙏 🙏
I haven't really bothered diving deep into the rest of their discography yet...

Correction: It's actually in Venice at the Coachella festival. And they're playing on day three (June 16th) along with Smashing Pumpkins and Incubus...

Unique sound? They're just bland soft rock.
Intense? Even Bon Jovi has a few heavy tracks.🙂
Not mindless? Not after listening to albums by guys like ELP or Genesis...
The frontman—well, I guess I could wrap my head around his vocals.

Using Bon Jovi was a bad comparison on my part. Anyone can crank up the volume and act "hard," even if they can't actually play an instrument.🙂
Bands like W.A.S.P. might sound aggressive, but their songs just aren't all that.
