...man, I’ve caught them live three times now—hit up shows in Denver, Austin, and Seattle—and let me tell you, they are absolutely unbeatable on stage. It's a total bummer that Martin McCarrick isn't playing with them anymore, though. Seriously, if you ever get the chance to see them, grab it. And when they aren't busy killing it on stage? Those guys are the best crew to hang out with if you just want to shoot the breeze and grab a few beers...😁 ...anyway, if you want to read some deep dives on the shows I went to, you can find reviews over on some of those big American music webzines...

...you should definitely check out their last two albums. Ever since they went back to playing as a trio, the sound on the records feels way more "gritty," even if they aren't churning out as many radio hits as they did on that one massive crossover record...

If they were just some hype-driven gimmick, paying for a band of this caliber would be a total waste, but they’re actually high quality—especially live, if I'm taking my experienced colleague's word for it^, and anyone who disagrees can just shut up 😎. Since they deliver, I don't mind dropping this cash 😛

The best bands are the ones that are secretly massive hits, even if the general public hasn't caught on yet. That’s when you can actually snag a deal 🙂
