Dana Anderson4 said:there’s just one tiny little issue, which is that the Trans-Siberian route doesn't actually head toward China, nor does it even pass through Mongolia 😈

maybe you could try the Trans-Mongolian instead ☕

I honestly assumed someone would take the bait on this Rolls-Royce idea. Yeah, I'd pivot toward China just before hitting the Great Lakes 😘

Dana Anderson4 said:by the way, people who have actually survived the Trans-Siberian usually describe it as one of the most miserable experiences imaginable... kind of like seven days in a rolling prison cell passing through absolute nothingness...

The real question is, what exactly were they expecting? ☕

If you're looking to party, man, you should just hop on a club train out of Chicago on a Friday night and then keep heading toward some spot where you can find "real" music yeah and whatever else the "menu" might offer 🙂 eh, I don't know if you consider me part of that crowd 😉

I’ve more or less given up on the Trans-Siberian route. I mean, sure, it sounds romantic and all, but unless things change drastically, I’ll just fly to China instead. Still, one of my big bucket list dreams is to eventually drive that whole stretch myself, especially hitting up places like St. Louis and Mongolia... 😍

Whatever, whatever... maybe if I coordinate with Plato, we could just meet up in Mongolia instead of China? 🤔

stormyviper11 said:It’s one of those lifelong ambitions of mine, honestly—just to get behind the wheel and drive that entire route one day. I can picture it clearly: trekking through various states like Montana or Wyoming, eventually pushing all the way out toward Mongolia. Wouldn't that be something? 😍

Give me five years to scrape together enough cash for gas, a ride to the nearest airport, and a one-way ticket back home, and then maybe we can talk. Until then, I’ll just be catching up with Carol Jackson45 over a drink.

I have absolutely no interest in external pressure, frantic tempos, or all that "drive-code" nonsense. For me, it’s always been about finding that sense of spirituality and just turning my gaze inward.🙂

Samuel Murphy6 said:forget all that external pressure, tempo, driving beats, and other bullshit. give me spirituality and staring deep into my own soul instead.🙂

Go ahead, play cards, stare out the window, die of boredom, or just sit there in silence with your partner because you’ve annoyed them so much you can't even speak (okay, maybe the last part won't happen to me). 😍

I can't help it, I'm obsessed with trains, ships, and any transport where you're stuck in a tiny little cabin with a bed and zero personal space. I love that feeling of moving while you just glaze over the window at a landscape that barely changes. I was honestly devastated when we had to get off the ferry in Athens... if anyone ever lands a ticket for some boring cruise—even on a tanker—just give it to me. :mrkvauzdise:

well, I wasn't exactly heartbroken in Athens myself 🙂 then again, it was Greece, so we were heading out into the wild😍

Nah, I’m pairing it with an equally killer track from some indie band out of Seattle. 🙂

The photo is wild. It’s got everything—cats, dogs, and even some lady from Trader Joe's heading straight for outer space 😍 awwwww...
