If you don't mind my asking, what exactly is the concept for the site?
I mean—how were you planning to structure it?

Look, I won't bore you with a massive deep dive right away, but the idea is to build a site that actually gives people helpful, real-world info if they're dealing with cancer or any other health struggles. I'm not claiming to have some earth-shattering, revolutionary concept here—let's be real—but I truly believe we can create a guide that isn't just a giant pile of dry, boring facts. I think we've got what it takes to make that happen.
I definitely wasn't born knowing how to run a website, and I know this stuff isn't exactly easy, but I really feel like it's worth a shot.
For me, the heart of the whole concept would be focusing on interactivity and live support. That’s where the real value is.
I'm more than happy to lay out the full vision for anyone who is serious and genuinely interested, but a forum like this probably isn't the best place to dump the whole blueprint.
It's not like I'm some big-shot innovator or trying to be an enlightened guru. I have zero interest in chasing internet fame. It's just that after seeing what my wife went through personally, and hearing everyone else's stories, I feel like something like this is actually needed.
I could mention a few sites that do something similar, but I don't want to steer this conversation off on a tangent.

Please get in touch with me, and just a heads-up: while the core concept for the site is already set, we still urgently need a designer and a few more hands on deck to actually get everything up and running properly.

Count me in—I’d love to help work on the site! 👍

I am asking because I am genuinely curious—and honestly, I would love to help make this happen if there is any way I can contribute. So, I am wondering about the overall concept, just to see if there might be a place for me in all of this 🙂

My mother underwent surgery just a week ago to remove a massive 10 kg tumor along with five liters of fluid. They had to remove her uterus, ovaries, and a section of her large intestine, even though the initial diagnosis suggested the tumor originated in the ovaries. The entire procedure lasted six hours, yet she is recovering quite remarkably. The doctors seem incredibly pleased with the outcome, though they did have to fit her with a colostomy bag; we are all still reeling from the shock of that, but I truly hope it isn't a permanent fixture. She will be starting chemotherapy soon. She is 57 years old, and I pray to God that she can navigate through all of this. The pathology results confirmed it was a malignant carcinoma.

I don't get it... I thought you guys would actually care about the Budwig method, which has a 90% success rate in treating cancer. This whole thing is food-based, because let's face it, it's the modern diet that caused this massive spike in tumors in the first place.

Go check out some more websites (take this one, for example: http://www.flaxoflife.com/), and here are some testimonials from that site, translated for a book that's coming out soon:

Glioblastoma multiforme stage IV
On February 10, 2002, I rushed my husband to the ER because of these brutal headaches and intense vomiting. We honestly thought it was just a massive migraine, but the tests proved it was a brain tumor. By Feb 12, he’d already had surgery, and the surgeon later told us it was Glioblastoma multiforme stage IV. It's easily the most lethal and aggressive brain tumor you can deal with. The surgeon removed all the cancerous tissue he could find. The medical prognosis was that Tom would have maybe six months left if he didn't start radiation; maybe a year if he did. Two weeks later, Tom started his first round of radiation. After just five days, he felt absolutely terrible... he had zero strength left.
We're Christians, and we know you have to seek God's help to guide you through a crisis like this. Back then, we were going to our local church every single day. Eventually, friends started dropping by with news about alternative treatments that had helped people beat cancer. Since the doctors weren't giving us any hope, we decided to go all-in on holistic healing and stop the radiation for Tom. We started this in March.
Three months later, Tom's MRI looked good. His brain showed no signs of the tumor, and the cavity where it had been removed was empty, save for a thin line in one part of the space. The doctor wasn't even sure if that line was just scar tissue, a benign growth, or the Glioblastoma returning.
Then, six months in, the MRI showed absolutely no sign of a tumor. The doctor called it a miracle; said he hadn't seen anything like it in his fourteen years of practice.
Tom's diet consisted of:
• 2 tablespoons of fresh cottage cheese mixed with 1 teaspoon of flaxseed oil (well blended) twice a day
• 750 mg (in capsules) of shark cartilage three times a day
• a small amount of Borage Oil and CoQ10 as a supplement
• more than 3 liters of water a day
• a drastic reduction in meat (no pork) and sugar
• light walks
• spending over an hour in the sun, or just being outdoors if it's cloudy
Now, Tom walks 6 kilometers every day and lifts weights. We really think artificial sweeteners triggered the tumor, since Tom used to drink two liters of Diet Coca-Cola every single day.
October 2006 - Tom is still tumor-free, sticking to his holistic diet, and isn't using any conventional treatments.

I already posted a link to the page regarding this specific treatment method on the glioblastoma thread.
I’m wondering—do you happen to know anyone in America who has used this method and successfully recovered? If so, please DM me their contact info. Glioblastoma is a nasty piece of work, and frankly, it feels more than just "too good to be true"—it feels almost "too easy" that this is the only way to kill it.
In the 1.5 years I've spent surfing the web every single day, this is the only case I've ever found where someone actually beat glioblastoma.

jadesurfer3, before my mom got sick, I had no idea things like those wound dressings even existed. It always fascinated me how doctors pull it off—saving lives like that. At the hospital, they’ll walk you through how the dressings are swapped out, but you need to decide which type you want because there are several different kinds. Through Medicare, you're entitled to the dressings and supplies, so ask her primary care physician for the authorization forms. Just make sure they enter the disease codes and medical material codes correctly. For instance, if the hospital recommends Aquacell AG patches for a wound, the authorization needs to list the code for pressure ulcers rather than cancer, because those specific patches aren't approved for cancer treatment—something a lot of doctors don't realize. Wishing your mom a speedy recovery.
Are you in Chicago?

I am familiar with those issues regarding the bag. Not personally, of course, but...
It might take her a little while to adjust to it, and maybe it will even feel uncomfortable from time to time.

slymoose4, if there were actually a method out there with a 90% success rate for curing cancer, the person who invented or used it would be hailed as the person of the millennium, aside from winning a Nobel Prize.

Sure, diet plays a huge role in how certain diseases develop, but honestly, buying into the theory that everyone gets cancer just because they eat poorly would be totally nuts.

When you look at Tom's story, there’s one super dangerous theory we really shouldn't overlook.

Stopping radiation treatments to switch over to holistic healing.

Okay, but seriously—do we even have the right, or who gives us permission, to just walk away from "official" medical treatment??

I was chatting on the phone today with an active member here on the forum, and she’s dealing with the exact same dilemma: stick with radiation or try "my own therapy."😠 😠

Can any of us truly take the risk of ditching the standard medical protocols for certain diseases and just go purely alternative?

We all know spontaneous healings from the toughest kinds of tumors happen, but let’s be real—none of us can actually explain how that happens.

Just to be clear, I’m not against alternative medicine at all; I actually support it. But when I hear people talking about "my way" versus "official medicine," I can't help but wonder if the people pushing those methods are actually sick themselves or just dangerous manipulators.

What kind of cancer???
What stage???
From what????
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!

With all due respect, comments like this are a little irritating!!!

Now, I'm a big believer in healthy eating and keeping both my mind and body in shape myself, but... that just isn't ENOUGH to cure every single malignant tumor!!!!!

If curing something this devastating were truly that easy and within reach, nobody would be getting sick!!!

Food is definitely a major factor when it comes to certain diseases, but honestly, believing that every single patient gets cancer just because of a bad diet would be absolutely insane...

There's one incredibly dangerous theory in Tom's story that we absolutely cannot afford to overlook...

Stopping radiation and switching to holistic treatments...

Seriously, do we actually have the right—and more importantly, who exactly gives us the authority—to walk away from "official" medical treatment??...

Just got off the phone with an active member of this forum, and it turns out she’s dealing with the exact same thing—whether it's radiation or just "my therapy"...😠 😠

Can anyone here actually take the risk of walking away from the standard medical protocols for certain diseases? Just ditch everything they tell you to do and go purely with alternative options...

It’s no secret that spontaneous healings from the most aggressive types of cancer do happen... but it's hard for any of us to actually explain how they occur.

Let me be clear... I don't have anything against alternative medicine. In fact, I actually support it. But when I hear people start talking about "my way" versus "official medicine," I can't help but wonder... are these people actually sick, or are they just dangerous manipulators?

Yeah, there’s no denying it—finding a cure for cancer is easily one of the most critical challenges we face today...

And it’s true—that’s exactly what the Nobel Prize is about.

But that’s exactly right...
Cancer cases are just climbing higher and higher these days...
Nowadays, fewer and fewer people are actually living out in the country and eating traditional food...
Agricultural yields are skyrocketing these days, but the downside is that food is becoming more and more processed...
Stress is definitely a trigger for cancer, but let’s be real—stress has always been around. Wars, losing someone close to you, being broke... people have always dealt with it.

So why wouldn't today's food and toxins be the actual cause of cancer? Just asking...

At last week's lecture over at the Kaptol Center, they dropped some data regarding the actual causes of cancer...

10% hereditary...
About 90% sporadic...

When we talk about hereditary causes, we're looking at gene mutations. But what exactly happens when it’s sporadic...

Does it even make sense to go through with chemo and radiation when you're essentially pumping poison directly into the human body?

Maybe people felt better after being exposed to radioactive radiation in Japan back in August 1945... or maybe in Ukraine in 1985... (sarcasm)

I wouldn't even start typing this if I wasn't 100% certain that Dr. Budwig's research is legit. Her later work treating patients proved every single one of her theories...

It still leaves you wondering why this didn't become the standard way to treat cancer... instead of just being labeled "alternative" by mainstream medicine that refuses to recognize it.
You might find answers like that in a book being sent to print right now. It should be available by mid-April: Cancer - The Problem and the Solution.

Check out this link about the Mariposas clinic. They actually offer a guarantee for cancer recovery. Right now in Spain, based on their current laws, they can at least push back against alternative treatment methods... http://www.mariposasclinic.com/.

(P.S. I’m not trying to tell anyone they "have" to do anything specific, but it seems like the Budwig method works much better when you aren't pumping extra toxins into your system. Everyone needs to make their own calls for their own lives. The more you research—and let's face it, the internet is actually useful for once—the better your decision will be...)

Sorry if I'm being blunt, but here is what I know:

Dr. Budwig mostly treated patients who had already:
1. Tried traditional medical treatments,
2. Been essentially given up on by mainstream medicine.
And she saw success rates of about 90% in those cases.

Eating healthy matters, though you really need an expert coach to know which foods actually work. But the bottom line is: YOU MUST CONSUME ESSENTIAL FATTY ACIDS.

Fatty acids are what truly control the health of an organism. Bad fats are likely the main reason the body breaks down and gets sick (probably causing many autoimmune issues too).

One more thing: CANCER loves refined sugar, but it hates raw food (meaning raw vegetables, unprocessed stuff).

Best,

My thoughts are pretty general—there isn't any scientific proof that avoiding sugar guarantees you won't get cancer, because if there were, my daughter would certainly be right here with me today.

To keep this discussion going—and hopefully constructively!—I’d love it if you could answer a few things:

What kind of cancer???
What stage???
What type????

Along with diet.

If we're going to have any kind of actual discussion here—constructive or otherwise—I need you to answer a few things first:

What cancer???
What stage???
What kind????

While eating sugar.

I haven't dealt with cancer personally, but last year I realized there might actually be a way to heal (not just destroy) a tumor cell. That realization drove me all the way to Stuttgart to meet with Mr. Lothar Hirneise to secure a license to publish Dr. Budwig’s books.
Hirneise heads up the German association People Against Cancer and carries on Dr. Budwig's teachings.
On top of that, he started an institution in Buoch near Stuttgart last year to help people fighting cancer: http://www.dgk-buoch.de.

So, you're asking about the type of cancer and the stage. The answer is: all types of cancer and terminal patients.
(Lymphoma, prostate, breast, brain, leukemia, liver, stomach, colon, uterus, tongue, esophagus, lungs and bronchi, pituitary, skin, bone, ...)

The only thing she admitted was failing with patients who already had artificial anuses installed, and she didn't approach breast cancer treatment once metastases had spread behind the shoulder blade.

As far as I know, there have never been medically verified studies for the Budwig method (unfortunately). It's obvious that flaxseed oil producers for human consumption were never powerful enough or interested enough to fund them. Usually, it's the pharma industry funding those kinds of studies to protect their own patents.

All we have are personal testimonials, and there are plenty of them on these pages (in English):

Hey slymoose4,
Look, I don't doubt you mean well, and honestly, thanks for trying to help—every bit of info helps. But you have to realize that most of us here—whether we’re fighting this ourselves or watching a family member go through it, or even after losing someone—have read hundreds of pages on alternative stuff. A lot of us have actually tried these methods too, only to end up realizing exactly what people were telling us from the start: there IS NO CURE FOR CANCER!!! That’s why all those massive ads claiming a 90% success rate just make us want to roll our eyes... Which patients are they talking about? What kind of cancer? Where are the actual, documented clinical trials? It always boils down to some story like, "John S., a plumber from Berlin, cured himself," etc., etc...
When my mom was diagnosed with Glioblastoma multiforme stage IV, I spent two hours straight reading Dr. Breuss's book, and man, it sounds so convincing and logical. But then I spent hours scouring the internet to see if anyone with Glioblastoma actually survived using the Breuss diet. I finally found one girl on an online forum whose mom stuck to the whole diet (I think it was about 44 days, if I remember right), only to die five days later from starvation, exhaustion, and a coma!
Then we bought Michael Kushija's book, where everything again sounds totally logical and makes sense. We started with that macrobiotic diet (this was all before chemo), following everything to a T. I was buying only the absolute best stuff from health food stores, and yet, during all those days on the diet, my mom's cancer just kept raging—you could see it clearly on the CT scan just 20 days later.
There's no question that sugar and processed junk are total garbage and do us nothing but harm, but what do you say to this: I had a student who spent her entire last year bouncing between hospitals and chemo, even though she lives out in the country and eats mostly homegrown food from her parents' farm?
Anyway, if my mom pulls through (she’s in the hospital right now and doing really poorly), I might try giving her that flaxseed oil you mentioned—why not?—but I'm definitely not buying into this 90% cure claim.
It's obvious our crappy diet causes a lot of issues, but slymoose4, once cancer starts spreading, especially when we're talking about stage IV cancers, I'm terrified that none of that stuff can actually help.
And lastly, yeah, there are definitely people who have survived the worst kinds of tumors, and those stories are what give me the strength to keep going and not lose hope until the very end. When it comes to my mom's situation, I've found survivors online who actually shared their full names, detailed descriptions of their treatments, and even their email addresses so you can reach out with questions. I've contacted some of them, and they replied immediately. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM went through chemotherapy. When it comes to people "cured" by alternative medicine, there are never any real names, just "the plumber from Berlin."

I don't doubt you mean well with your posts, and thanks for wanting to help—every bit of info helps. But you need to understand something. Most of us here who have a family member fighting cancer, or who are battling it ourselves, or who have already lost someone to this disease, have read hundreds of pages on various alternative treatments. Many of us have actually tried those methods only to end up realizing exactly what was said from the very beginning... there is NO CURE FOR CANCER!!! That’s why we get so sick of all these massive advertisements claiming 90% cure rates. Which patients are they talking about? What kind of cancer was it? Where are the serious, documented clinical trials? It always boils down to stories like: "John S., a plumber from Berlin, managed to cure himself," and so on. When he supposedly cured himself, what else was he doing during that process? It's all just... blah blah blah...
When my mom was diagnosed with Glioblastoma multiforme stage IV, I spent two hours reading Dr. Breuss's book. Honestly, everything he says sounds convincing... it actually makes sense. But then I spent hours scouring the internet to see if anyone had actually beaten Glioblastoma using the Breuss diet. All I could find was this one girl on a forum whose mother stuck to the entire diet—maybe 44 days, if I remember right—only to die five days later from hunger, exhaustion, and a coma...
So, we picked up that book by Michael Kushija, where everything you read actually makes sense and feels convincing. We started with that macrobiotic diet—this was all before the chemo kicked in. We followed every single instruction in there, and I made sure to only buy the absolute best stuff from the health food stores. But during all those days we were sticking to the diet, my mom's cancer just kept raging... which was exactly what showed up on the CT scan about 20 days later.
It’s obvious that sugar and processed junk food are absolute garbage and can only wreck our health... but what do you make of this? I had a student spend this entire past year bouncing between hospitals and undergoing chemo, yet the kid lives out in the country and mostly eats food their parents grow themselves...
Whatever. If my mom pulls through this—she’s in the hospital right now and in really bad shape—I’ll try giving her that flaxseed oil you mentioned. Why not... but I’m not buying into that 90% cure rate. Not really.
It’s no secret that our terrible diet causes a lot of health problems, but slymoose4, once cancer really starts running wild—especially when you're dealing with Glioblastoma multiforme stage IV—I honestly fear that none of that will make a difference...
And finally, there are obviously people who have managed to survive even the most aggressive types of cancer. They’re the ones who give me the strength to keep pushing and to never stop hoping until the very end... When it comes to my mom's illness, I found survivors online who actually put their full names out there, providing detailed accounts of every treatment they went through along with an email address where you can reach out if you have questions. You don't get real names or surnames. It always boils down to something vague like "a plumber from Berlin"...

I truly believe it can't be easy dealing with cancer yourself or watching someone close to you fight it...

I know there are tons of methods out there making big promises, only to let you down in the end. But in my 44 years, I haven't come across anything as thoroughly researched and applied as the Budwig method...

Flaxseed oil is packed with exactly the kind of essential fatty acids you need—specifically 57% alpha-linolenic acid and 15% linoleic acid. If you mix that with sulfur-rich proteins, like what you'd find in cooked or fresh cow's milk cheese, those nutrients can actually travel through the bloodstream straight to your cells. It’s how they actually start healing them...

I stumbled upon this health group at:
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/FlaxSeedOil2/
where you can find 72 different testimonials (check Files-> Testimonials). They’re all signed and include email addresses from people who actually used the Budwig method (you'll need to join first).

We're going to see more of these stories popping up because word about how well this works is finally spreading globally—right now, most of the books are only available in German and English.

Through that group, I met a guy from Belgrade who found relief using the Budwig method, and he's actually working on getting Dr. Budwig's books ready for print too.

I couldn't agree more!
We can't function without modern medicine, but when it comes to the alternative route, one thing baffles me: how can the exact same approach be applied to every single disease?
For instance, they suggest the same dosage for prostate cancer, stomach cancer, leukemia, and sarcoma. They offer the same thirty-minute bioenergy sessions for someone struggling with sinus issues as they do for someone fighting cancer.
In principle, we’ve felt quite let down by the alternative crowd. Regarding nutrition, because the chemotherapy is so brutal, we didn't jump straight into macrobiotics, but we did increase our intake of fish, olive oil, fruits, and vegetables, and we cut pork out of our diet entirely.
When you are staring down a diagnosis this heavy, making decisions is incredibly difficult (even though you have no choice). The only thing I know for certain is that the healthcare system needs a total overhaul. We are all being starved of information regarding treatment options and the essential screenings we need to complete in a timely manner. We shouldn't be subjected to these endless waiting periods at the hospital.

On Friday, our radiation nurse told us we have to wait a whole month for radiation therapy!? Since when is that considered normal? 😕

Honestly, I am just exhausted by all these "miracle cures" that claim to fix everything. I think people waste far too much precious time and money chasing them.

I once asked someone what they thought was the best way to approach these alternative options. They gave me probably the most solid answer I've ever heard: "It really comes down to your own mindset and how much you believe in the path you choose." To be honest, I think the absolute core of alternative medicine is having that unwavering faith and staying disciplined once you've made your decision.
