I happened to flick on the television a little while ago, and I must say, I was quite pleased to see that most of the Daily News on ABC was dedicated to the issues we actually face... specifically, the complexities surrounding the diagnosis and treatment of malignant diseases.

I caught a glimpse of Angela Wright on screen, and I assume the other woman featured was the fighter girl. Honestly, you ladies deserve all the credit...

Oh yeah, we were on😁. They filmed us at 4:00 PM today and rushed the edit straight into the Daily News broadcast. We already posted the association's notice on the forum, and we’ll upload the full segment soon. Honestly, we covered way more ground and touched on much more critical issues, but they definitely gave us a bit of a hard time🙄

I watched that too. Way to go, ladies—you can never have enough stories like this one!...

Just a quick heads-up for anyone heading to Rib to get their markers checked—don't go knocking on the old door! The Lab has moved to a different building, right behind that green one they used to be in. Also, you MUST book an appointment in advance for these tests now. You can't just show up with a referral for markers anymore; you really need to reserve a time slot beforehand. The Lab stays open until 10:00, and then they take a thirty-minute lunch break. Hopefully, this helps someone get there at the right time! :-)))
Good luck!!!

I just watched that segment and immediately thought of you.
The tiny bit of airtime they gave you was nothing—you guys were awesome 👍

journalists 😢 but... I suppose I am glad they carved out some time to address this issue

Hey everyone!!
Another week just slipped by—honestly, I don't know about you guys, but I feel like I’m losing track of what day it is, let alone what month we're even in. And I swear, it makes me so sad whenever I read the new posts here... there's just so much heartache and tears in everything. I really want to send as much positive energy your way as possible, because I truly believe that staying positive—whatever people want to call it—is the best thing we can do while we're fighting this battle against illness. Personally, that mindset is what keeps me going and keeps me fed through this whole year. I get it, I really do, and I can sense what you're all going through during this nightmare, but I KNOW that there is an endless amount of love hidden inside every single one of us—and that's where that positive energy comes from.
As for me, my results are looking a bit better, and we're actually heading to Germany this Sunday to start immunotherapy, so I'm feeling pretty hopeful about that.
Please don't be mad at me if I occasionally try to be optimistic when it might feel out of place... I promise my wishes are coming from the heart :-)

Please don't mind me if I occasionally try to be too optimistic... my wishes are completely sincere! :-)

That's wonderful, Grace, that you got everything sorted out and are finally traveling for treatment. I'm crossing my fingers for you and praying things get better again. Hang in there, dear, you know we are all right behind you!

It is such a breath of fresh air to hear your news after all the bad updates lately. It breaks my heart that some people have come so close to the end of their journey, but you just have to keep fighting no matter how hard it gets. I'm headed to the hospital next week myself; even though my chemo markers keep rising and they found some enlargement in my intestine. I feel like I'm having the worst luck, honestly, but I'm not giving up!

My condolences... I’m not on here much and reading all this is honestly pretty rough. My father-in-law was just diagnosed with lung cancer back in February—total shock—and he's doing chemo every two weeks now. He isn't drinking anything except nettle tea and some kind of lyophilized Chinese royal jelly. So, if anyone knows, would it be better to give him Native Propolis—from Header—or maybe Beta Glucan? Thanks in advance!

Amanda Miller69, my deepest condolences.
I truly believed your mother would be with you for a long time, so reading this was a massive shock... May God give you all strength and watch over you.
