That’s definitely because Bruce Campbell is in it.
I have to admit, that actor is solid.
He plays my absolute favorite character in all of Horror—Ash Williams from Evil Dead.
Man, if they would just make Ash vs Freddy vs Jason vs Michael... but no, we won't see that happen, will we?

Look, when it comes to Maniac Cop, I’m just not feeling it—it doesn't hit nearly as hard as Jason Voorhees does for me. Now, don't get me wrong, I don't exactly hate Michael Myers, but let's be honest: he's just incredibly bland. He's a totally uninspired killer.

I’ve been following the news on this remake for a while now. It doesn't look half bad, but still Nathan Myers28 made a solid point: movies always look great in stills and trailers, only to turn out to be total garbage once you actually sit down to watch them.
As for whether Rob Zombie is a bad director, honestly, I don't know. I haven't sat through any of his stuff yet. His movie House of 1000 Corpses looks like cheap trash to me, and the reviews are pretty rough. On the other hand, The Devil's Rejects seems way better, and I've heard some decent things about it, but I'm still on the fence about whether it's worth my time.

I went in to watch House of 1000 Corpses expecting who knows what, but honestly? Total garbage... I seriously doubt I'll be giving this one another shot.
I really expected a bit more from Rob Zombie...

Look, Rob Zombie doesn't have a clue, and honestly, what can you even expect from him? "House of 1000 Corpses" was total garbage, and while "The Devil's Rejects" was okay, it wasn't anything special. This guy claims to be a huge fan of the original "Halloween"—but if you were truly a massive fan, you wouldn't go around remaking the damn thing (at least, in my opinion)—and frankly, I don't care if you're a fan; being a fan is one thing, but being a director is something else entirely. To make matters worse, he was reportedly offered a chance to work on something related to the "TCM" remake, which he turned down immediately, only to jump at the chance to do "Halloween" when they offered it to him. It makes me think the guy doesn't even actually like the original if he’s going to implement such bizarre changes to Michael's character. On top of all that, every single week there’s some new leak from the set—photos, trailers, interviews—they're even letting script snippets wander around the internet just to hype people up so they can rake in more $.

Here are the reviews from two of the biggest Horror sites out there, and both of them absolutely trashed it. Just another failed remake.

Last week, a workprint version of John Carpenter's Halloween leaked onto some torrent sites. It’s noticeably different from the theatrical cut currently playing in theaters—apparently, the cinema version is more violent and features a different ending altogether. I haven't had a chance to sit down with it yet, so we'll have to see if the changes actually hold up... 🙂

I have absolutely no clue what brains have to do with this movie—and as for the grammar, a period usually follows "vs." Honestly, go back to school. I couldn't care less about getting banned anyway; I’m already halfway out the door. Go jump in a lake. Ah, much better. Now I feel great.

you're kind of a hyperactive little guy, aren't you? 🙂
when you write a slightly longer sentence, eventually you'll want to drop in a comma (which goes right after the word, no space needed).
similarly, you put a period at the end of a sentence (again, no space), then follow it with a space before starting the next one. you use periods so that the poor masochists trying to parse your twisted thought processes can actually figure out where one manic outburst ends and the next begins.
you don't really need to obsess over capitalization when posting here, but in any other context, you probably should.
