Abdominal pain, vaginal discomfort, and discharge

Hey everyone!

My girlfriend and I have been doing oral for a while now, but we haven't actually had penetrative sex yet...
The thing is, she told me the other day that her stomach hurts, she’s experiencing vaginal pain, and there’s some kind of discharge going on.

We’ve been together quite a bit, and this just started happening out of nowhere. Am I the one who caused this? She mentioned something about an infection. I'm honestly doubting if I passed anything to her, since I haven't slept with anyone else before her, so I really don't think I could have picked up an STI.🙂

Any advice?

Look, it's highly unlikely that you're the cause of this, though I can't say for certain without knowing the specifics. That said, she really needs to see a doctor right away to get it sorted out. It's always much better to catch these things early and prevent them from getting worse than trying to fix a major problem later on.

So you're saying you haven't even hooked up with anyone else... so what does that even have to do with this? 😁 It might just be a random irritation or something...

It’s probably best if she just heads to her own OB-GYN so they can clear up any confusion for both of them... 👍

But in all seriousness, if you actually want any helpful input here, you really need to lay out the specifics of her situation. You can't get much advice without the details.

There are plenty of spontaneous inflammations caused by vaginal microflora imbalances, so that’s likely what we’re looking at here. It’s probably just a yeast infection, since almost every woman deals with them at some point 😬
Honestly, you guys are being a bit silly—immediately jumping to conclusions about sex. We women are much more complex than that; maintaining vaginal health isn't exactly the simple task it's made out to be... 😉
She should just see a gynecologist and get it sorted out. I suspect it’s nothing serious.

Just because you haven't had full intercourse doesn't mean you couldn't pass over a bacterial infection. Bacteria can thrive on any mucous membrane, including the ones in your mouth.

For what it's worth, you can absolutely catch gonorrhea through oral sex. For example, if a woman performs oral on a guy who has it, the infection can settle right into her throat or tonsils... and that is a massive headache.

Go get yourself a throat swab tested.
