Unfortunately, I've only made it to a Live Action Role Playing event twice. 😢 I just don't have the time. It's a cool hobby, though.
(It’s just a total mess because the community is "corrupt as hell!" I show up with my sword and they tell me the foam is too thin. Then some older guy shows up with the exact same sword and suddenly everything is fine! What kind of rules are those?!)

Everyone loves to claim that Hammerfall is just some commercial sellout act, but honestly? They can actually play their instruments.🙂 And let’s be real—they easily have some of the best album art out there!

Good grief... Hammerfall is basically the bottom of the barrel when it comes to power metal. I get it, some people just dig the genre and stick to whatever mid-tier bands they find, but Hammerfall? Really? 😵

Labyrinth is still pretty decent too, I guess... though I haven't really spun their stuff in a minute. Haven't really been deep in that rabbit hole lately.

Austin Phillips3, why do you feel the need to insult bands just because they aren't your cup of tea? That doesn't make them garbage. You claim Hammerfall is bottom-tier... based on what scale? Yours? Well, I’m happy to tear that little scale of yours to shreds.
Did you even realize that Rhapsody is one of those rare bands where the members actually finished music academy... in Juilliard! If you know anything at all about music, you know how incredibly difficult that curriculum is.
My playlist runs the gamut from Death and black metal through thrash and straight into power metal. Most bands sound good to me. And even when they don't, I'm not going to call them trash because I respect the effort they put in—even if it's just noise!
(The only thing I can't stand is punk. Honestly, it sounds like people banging on pots and pans... like UK Subs or whatever. It's terrible! But again, that's just my own scale.) So, please, spare us the unnecessary comments and your messed up little hierarchy. Thanks.

I can't really speak to the entire Power metal scene as a whole—I've mostly just stuck to listening to Rhapsody—but I will say they're pretty solid, definitely worth a listen if you're into that sort of thing.
