Change of subject:

Has anyone ever heard of Metallica? They’re easily one of the rarest finds out there if you're digging through underground heavy metal.
I only have two tracks 😢
Does anyone actually own an album by them? I know for a fact there's one called: Metallica : Salvation by Fire!
It’s basically some kind of power speed stuff.

Jerry Thompson said:Man, how long have you been into metal?

*checks calendar*

11 years and 7 months.

It all started when I got my first tape from CANNIBAL CORPSE. Everything after that was just history. 🙂

Eleven years and seven months. That's how long it's been.

I was only asking about heavy metal, not the entire genre. If you aren't actually listening to power metal, then you have zero years and zero months of experience. Period.
Are you even listening to heavy metal? If you want to weigh in, stick to threads where Black is actually involved. Stop spouting nonsense about power when it’s obvious you don't have a clue and zero experience with this music.

Go get some sunlight, guys. It’s a beautiful day out there. See you all tomorrow. 👋

So, who here is actually into heavy metal?

Why are you acting so worked up today? They’re just backing up the established claim that power is gay 😬

from: a few people have been riding my back about this lately, and honestly, I'm not feeling it. 🙂

unknown, power is gay 😳

I am not a fan of that... I really don't care for those classic solos, you know? 😳

So, here’s an explicit request and approval from the self-proclaimed heavy metal devotee, Mr. Wrong - Burning Point

Since all those posers (been around for a long time 🤣) wouldn't know what to do with a legendary band like this anyway, I’ve password-protected the file. Honestly, if you're a true metalhead who actually listens to everything and doesn't just pick out the catchy bits, this shouldn't be much of a hurdle

Anyway, the pass is the name of the band that put out the shortest single in history 😬

STAY METAL FOREVER 🙏 🙏

I’ve only ever checked out the Riding on winds of eternity album by Dennis Fox5, but honestly? They aren't half bad.

By the way, I’m a woman, so all those guys arguing about whether this is "gay metal" or whatever just goes completely over my head... doesn't bother me one bit.

Anyway—just as a side note—I'm a woman, so those claims about this being "gay metal" don't really bother me the way they might guys...

The idea of "lesbian metal" sounds a little silly to me...mostly just thinking about the lyrics...I mean, who knows what lesbian metal would actually sound like? 😬

Just a quick heads-up: Riding on winds of eternity is actually a track from the Symphony of Enchanted Lands Part 1 album!

I heard he went pretty heavy on the experimentation this time, so who knows how it turned out... but honestly, I still think Kings of the Nordic Twilight is a notch above even the best Rhapsody stuff...😁

😁 Everything was fine while Turril was shredding on the guitar. 🙂 You can even find talent in the absolute worst bands. 🙂

I listen to Rhapsody from time to time. At first, their militant lyrics rubbed me the wrong way, but I quickly realized there’s more symbolism at play than meets the eye. They were especially interesting to me while I was reading The Lord of the Rings; the two just sync up perfectly.

Anyway, they're one of my favorite bands, and I can't help but wonder what they sound like live. Hopefully, I'll get the chance to catch one of their shows soon.
