But she’s honestly so photogenic. I’m actually bummed I didn't have my Polaroid film on me; we could have taken some stunning shots...

Maybe I should just mention how the Concrete Worms from Chicago tried to visit the local zoo, but they got rained out...

Page and Plant were walking through Times Square back in February '98, right in the middle of those labor protests where the cops were beating down union workers and blocking them from entering the square.
So, on one side of the square, you had Page and Plant, and on the other, you had Vesna Pusić, Ivan Supek, and probably a few other local leftists.
And those guys were playing shows in America while watching the government trample over its own people🙂 and to top it off, they even had the Big Shots opening for them.😵

Bottom line—Staggers was easily the highlight of the night at the venue. Seriously, someone get more pics of this band up here immediately.

Did B. ever tell you how Gary and him got into a scrap in the parking lot in front of Spunka? Basically, Gary was laying him out while he was begging for mercy. It was like something straight out of a low-budget gritty drama. Total trash. 🤣
