Not to mention Marche carries Litovel too. Nikšić and Velebit are also middle-of-the-road options. I mean, as much as I’m glad to see Nikšić back after years of nothing, it’s just not what it used to be. Actually, I stopped by Scout once and had a couple of bad ones that really soured my opinion of them...

Speaking of beer, what’s the verdict on Karlovacka? I noticed yesterday you can actually pick it up around here. As for Lacni, honestly, every single one of their shows I've caught was incredible. Especially that last gig right before Otto moved over to Laibach.

Personally, I stick to Karlovacka as my go-to local brew (alongside Velebit), it's actually drinkable. Way better than Budweiser...

Rimele works as a professor of painting and sculpture at a teacher's college in Milwaukee (and he paints, obviously), though he was a bit of a late bloomer—graduating from the fine arts academy in Chicago when he was already 28. For those interested in the music, I highly recommend checking out the Laibachov John Peel sessions where Rimele played guitar. For those who aren't in the loop, Rimele was actually hailed as a guitar prodigy in Lacni; he started playing with this band when he was only 16, and by the time Ikebana came around, he was already being called one of the best guitarists in the country.

I don't know about you, but to me, that’s exactly what matters most when the lyrics are the whole point of the song. There is just no way in hell Oliver can belt out Tina's songs without it feeling totally fake. It sounds absolutely terrible, like it's just low-rent and routine, even if every single note is technically perfect.😠
I want raw emotion, I want the music and those incredible lyrics to actually hit me somewhere deep, and I want to feel like it's being performed from the heart. You can tell when it's real!
