By the way, I’m not complaining anymore; I’m spitting venom. I moved past the victim stage a long time ago. Now, I’m just being Aggressive.

Rachel Brooks63 didn't actually give you bad advice. When something on TV bothers me—which doesn't happen often since I rarely turn the thing on anyway—I don't sit there letting it get to me. My time is too valuable for that. I either change the channel or just shut the damn thing off, which is usually the smartest move...

The whole "spitting venom" and being an aggressor instead of a victim isn't any better, either. It’s just two sides of the same coin. Both ways are pretty toxic. As far as you're concerned, who cares about Oprah...

YES - they've got vitamins 👍
NO - they cause vitamin toxicity (like, the body can't flush out Vitamin A fast enough, so you end up with headaches and... well, literal crap hitting the fan)👍

So what now? - honestly, it all comes down to dosage👋

Look, were you actually joking with this post? I honestly can't tell...

Aha. Interesting. You still haven't actually answered my questions.

By the way, there’s an unwritten golden rule on this forum: Being right is more important than actually participating in a discussion.

When someone acts like a child trying to play wise guy, they’re going to get that same stupid "wisdom" shoved back at them. If you're dim enough to fixate on a single word and miss the entire point of the sentence, you aren't worth my time, and I'm done debating seriously.

Again: Do you even watch her shows? Stop twisting my words out of context.
Look, I didn't ask you for a diagnosis of my mental state, nor am I here for you to lecture me on my choice of TV programming. My life goal isn't fighting Oprah, but I have every RIGHT to express my opinion about her show (meaning, her). If all you have to offer is "just change the channel," then you'd be better off staying silent, because that's an argument for... well, you know.

YOU were the one who jumped in to defend someone you claim doesn't matter to YOU, so don't try to act superior now.

Ignorance and turning a blind eye to the facts isn't what smart people do. This woman spews nonsense wrapped up in her persona and legacy. And here you are, trying to defend her when you don't even know the first thing about her. Yet, you sure know how to brag about being a tough guy toward Cindy. Someone I didn't even bring up. 😁

Answer my question.

This belongs in a "TV" section...

Seriously, what is with this sudden outburst? Even a woman in her final weeks of pregnancy isn't usually this high-strung... honestly, seeing this makes me wonder what kind of energy is lurking in my own house right now. 🙂

1) I don't follow her shows because they're boring—and look, how would I know they're boring if I didn't try watching a few clips with my eyes wide open? I managed to last longer than she did, which probably means she's smarter than me... I guess.

Oprah, but I have every right to state my opinion about her show (which really just means her).

Fine. By that logic, I have every right to analyze and criticize you, too. It’s not like you’ve ever met Oprah, nor do I actually know you... I hope you see how pointless this is.

If you don't have anything intelligent to say besides: "just change the channel."

But see, to me, that's actually quite smart. To you, it seems smarter to just get worked up over nothing, I suppose. Besides, do you really value your time so little that you

Look, as a consumer, I have the right to express my opinion about a product that's forced upon me twice a day for an hour at a time.

In that case, you shouldn't be watching anything else if all you want to do is listen to that nonsense... 😁 And this isn't a discussion about TV programming, it's about ethics and morality.

Ignorance and turning a blind eye to the facts aren't traits of intelligent people. This woman spews nonsense wrapped up nicely in her persona and her work. And here you are, defending her when you don't even know the first thing about her. Yet you make sure to brag about being a tough guy on Cindy. Someone I didn't even mention.

The mark of an intelligent person is knowing how to pick their battles and not wasting energy on trivialities. A truly intelligent—and let's say, moral—person doesn't tear down someone who can't defend themselves here. Why don't you just take all these posts of yours and email them directly to Oprah? It would certainly be a more effective way to reach everyone involved.
Good grief, I'm not defending Oprah as a person; I'm defending ANYONE who gets trashed without knowing it or having a way to respond. I'd defend you, too, if someone were dragging your name through the mud on some random internet forum without you even realizing it.

You choose your own victims and aggressors. Oprah is just a convenient outlet for you to vent whatever is bothering you, instead of taking it out on the people or things that actually upset you—which, most of the time, are the people in your immediate circle. But go ahead, take it out on Oprah... she won't bother replying.

God, seriously...
😕

So we’ve started dissecting things now, have we?

Look, I’m not here to get into a petty back-and-forth. This isn't even a discussion anymore; it’s just someone trying to force their opinion on everyone else—which is typical for certain patients on this forum who love acting like "amateur psychologists."

Since you decided to answer my questions by analyzing my personality *again*—which is what I call the "Pitbull Forum User" tactic—we haven't moved an inch from where we started. You aren't the first person to pull this kind of stunt, and you definitely won't be the last.

I’ve said my piece. The smart people will get it. As for you, feel free to read your own post over and over until you're blue in the face. Enjoy it.
