Just hit up Google and learn something. 👍

Look, just do your own research right here. Google isn't gonna give you an actual opinion on a band. 🙂

I'm sure there are plenty of dedicated fan clubs and niche forums out there somewhere,😉

but clearly, nobody in this specific corner of the internet actually knows anything about 😬

And honestly, if that happened, probably 99% of the topics on this forum would just be useless and stupid 🙂

hehe 🙂 personally, I find Manu Chao to be the absolute peak of being irritating... but Earth, Wind & Fire is killer...
they had plenty of hits, too—like Deeper Underground (that Godzilla soundtrack one), Corner of the Earth, Love Foolosophy, Canned Heat (which is seriously good),.. anyway, I haven't checked out this new stuff yet..

Well, I couldn't disagree more 😳

I'm actually quite the opposite

I might honestly upgrade "boring" by adding a little prefix to make it 'ultra-violently' 🙂

Personally, I just don't really use those *cringey emojis...

Natch said:Basically, I’m thinking about hitting up this concert this weekend, but I have vacation plans coming up. Is this actually a good band? What kind of music do they play? Is it worth dropping cash on a single night for them? Thanks.👍

Unbelievable. 😁
Are you being serious right now, or is this some kind of joke?😕
Good grief... 🙂

Acid Jazz... feels a little funkier than usual here... fits right in with that whole scene featuring

The Brand New Heavies
The Blue Boy
James Taylor Quartet
Incognito
Raw Stylus
Dream Wariors
A Tribe Called Quest
Carleen Anderson
...
and so on.

It’s just that he’s sort of more mainstream than the rest, I guess—you actually hear his stuff playing, whereas the others kind of stay under the radar.

That’s blasphemy... don't you dare disrespect Jamiroquai, or I'll lose my cool right here.
Natch, I simply CANNOT believe you don't know at least one thing. That's the band where the guy with the crazy hats and oversized headwear sings.

How about you just hand over your ticket to me, an actual true fan?😬

I'm practically in tears knowing I won't be seeing DJ—the man who is (alongside Carlton Banks, obviously) the most legendary hipster on the planet.

Jamiroquai... honestly some of the best stuff out there.
Pure Acid Jazz meets those sexy, funky rhythms.

Look, taste is subjective. Some people hate it, but for me... it's everything.
Those first two albums are the real deal, perfect for chilling out with a Bacardi at night. Then you get the dance tracks like Canned Heat, Mr. Moon, Little Lou, or Dynamite... they just hit different. Makes me have to move.
I feel like you either love Jamiroquai or you don't. You don't just "kind of" listen to them. They're in a league of their own... always gets me going.

That Madison Square Garden show back in 2002... easily one of the best moments of my life. The crowd was absolutely electric. Total peak experience. During Deeper Underground, I stepped back from the crowd for a second just to watch all those hands moving in unison... like waves... man, gave me chills...

Can't wait for Saturday. So, who's in? If you were there three years ago, you definitely want to chase that feeling again.
Checked online, and their set in Washington, D.C. was insane. Check this link www.funkin.com

With a question like that, you might as well just save your $80. But hey, if someone else is footing the bill, hope the vibe at the venue is decent...

Then why on earth aren't you going? You can't miss this.

Incognito...

They’re just too mid... Dream On Dreamer is definitely one of the best things I've heard, same with Always There by Incognito...

Send me your routing number so I can drop a donation toward that new puppy shelter. 😢

I'm guessing you woke up from a massive coma right into the middle of summer 2002. 😕 🙂

Glad to hear you're finally getting back on your feet. 👍

Honestly, Manu Chao is just perfect background noise for a retiree doing home workouts
You know, just go through the motions... arm curls... one, two... keep going... three...
So boring
A total chore to listen to

guess you finally woke up from your coma just in time for summer 2002... 😕 🙂

glad you're actually recovering though... 👍

Don't sweat my snail farm, it's doing fine. Honestly, after reading your reply, I realized there's nothing left to say because you wouldn't get it anyway. So 👋
P.S. what are you even listening to lately?

Manu Chao is basically the soundtrack for seniors doing light aerobics at the community center
you know, just... bend those elbows... one, two, stretch, stretch, boom, three...
so dull...
hard to listen to...
☕

Don't get why people are even grouping Earth, Wind & Fire in with Manu Chao here.

Whatever... people always have an opinion, right? Some love it, some hate it. But I figured you guys would go scorched earth immediately, acting like it's the end of the world just because of an Earth, Wind & Fire show. You aren't even debating anymore... just spitting venom...
