Dirty Old Festival - Kansas City, July 15th & 16th

I’m pretty sure I’ll be making the trek out to Kansas City—I've got my sights set on seeing Mad to the Bone live.

Since DOF keeps leveling up every year, expect an even larger stage this time around, complete with high-end lighting and a solid sound system. We're also diversifying the food situation; there will be plenty of options for both meat-eaters and vegetarians, and the bar area is being expanded so you won't be stuck waiting in endless lines. During the day, we'll have extra activities lined up, including some soccer matches and a book promotion centered around skate (sub)culture. (www.sergraphie.com)
Both days will feature a massive merchandise stall packed with patches, t-shirts, hats,
CDovi and other gear from the performing bands, alongside the full Dirty Old Empire distro.
Ticket prices will be announced shortly, but let's be honest: that should be the absolute least of your concerns when deciding whether or not to show up for this year's Dirty Old Festival.

Not at all; I haven't the slightest clue. All I know is that Igor is a guy who kicks ass and happens to have an absolutely massive music collection (or so the ladies at the parties claim).

And his vibe is basically—I need to hear Mad Sin and the rest of them.

To all honesty, I don't really care for any of this news... except maybe those Against Me! guys; I've heard nothing but good things about them. Personally, I’d rather just hike through the hills and grab a few drinks with Red Union and everyone here on the forum. 🙂

For years now, with help from family and friends, plus his own sheer grit, he’s been pushing this rural festival forward. He makes the best damn tunes in the Midwest.🙂 🙂 🙂

I’m actually really curious to see how much better the food will be this year. Last year I was absolutely dying in the mornings, just dragging myself down to the local corner store for a burger or something greasy... it left me feeling so sluggish and thirsty, haha. But whatever, it wasn't the end of the world, even if that massive crowd was a total nightmare... hopefully things step it up this time... and yeah... they're fine against me...
p.s. does anyone know what the entry fee is going to be?

Man, a couple of years back I actually had to settle for a burger that was nothing but an onion patty because the vegetarians had already polished off every other vegetable on the menu. 😬
