Let’s do some hypothetical thinking here: which players should we be looking at for the EP roster?

I'm talking about both the starters and the bench depth.

Who do you think is definitely out, who would you personally love to see on the court, and what are the actual odds for our guys? Are we looking at another total embarrassment that just drags down the already low reputation of American basketball?

I know you probably wouldn't want to see Planinić on the court either... I honestly can't stand that trio

Honestly, even I’m struggling to decide who I’d actually want to see on the US national team... I mean, Dražen Petrović already said DEFINITELY NOT for the national squad.

I suppose if I had to pick, I’d love to see:
- Giričeka
- Planinić
- Kasun
- Vujčić
- Popović

...and even some of the younger guys (Ukić, Perić, Pašalić, Tomas).

That’s pretty much how it’ll look—except maybe for Perić and Pašalić (they haven't really earned it, if you ask me). Personally, I’d also love to see Mamić out there, and given how he’s been playing all season, Joka Vranković deserves a call too (I know, I know, he's getting up there in age, but still...).

If I had to pick from the taller guys, I'd throw in Nicević—he’s been playing solid for Panathinaikos this season—and Lončar, who is putting up some really impressive numbers over in Ukraine

It’s definitely gotta be lončar. And when we're talking about the younger talent—well, I guess you absolutely have to look at Banić from San Diego.

What about Bagaric? 😁

Maybe Prka, though I’ve never been a fan—he’s prone to making huge mistakes on the court.

And you guys are completely overlooking Bazdarica.

At the end of the day, I just don't see any grit in this squad.

Physically speaking, I think Nikša has all the tools to be an elite stretch four or five, but—to be honest—his head isn't quite in the game. I guess he just let Sesar influence him for way too long, which probably messed with his perspective.
And look, Bagarić is definitely improving; if we really need a traditional, bruising big man, he’s our best bet. He's actually a prime example of how the NBA can sometimes ruin a player's development, but unlike šundov, he actually has enough sense to realize that himself—so maybe, just maybe, it isn't too late for him to evolve into a truly solid center.

Honestly, I’d rather see Ukic starting over Popovic when we run the Play.

Well, I have to disagree—I wouldn't.

Basically, you need to be playing guys who are actually active with their teams!!

Prka was an absolute beast😁

I loved watching him because whenever he had the chance, he’d just hammer it down—no mercy—instead of those soft little layups you see from guys over 6'10''🙄

He’s playing pretty well for Efes, but he just seems broken... the guy moves like he's over 40! I honestly think his knees are shot

I’ve never been much of a fan of those fancy appetizers, and honestly, I’m not even sure if we actually need that overpriced three-course brunch special they're pushing at the local bistro.
