I know there have been plenty of threads about dreams, but I’m not sure if we have a specific category for "Stupid Dreams," and honestly, that’s all I ever seem to have, for fuck's sake 😁

Last night, during the first half of my sleep, I dreamt I was getting into this massive argument with Sally (you know, like Chef Boyardee 😬). That part wasn't even that ridiculous; I just have no clue why my brain decided to cook that up in the first place... 🤔

The second half, though:

I’m just sitting there on a sidewalk, leaning my back against a fence outside some house, and there’s this hedge growing right on the fence. So, I’m just sitting. And then, every ten seconds or so, a sheep's head pops out from the hedge and whispers quietly in my ear, "Ma... ma... stepmother..." and every single time, I just reply, "No... n-no..." Then it goes right back to "Ma... ma... stepmother..." and me going "No. N-no."

It keeps going like that—I don't even know how many times—and suddenly I just bolt upright and yell, "Aha! Now I know what I have to do!"

And then I walk into a video rental store to buy a carton of yogurt.

I mean—what the actual hell?! 😕

What’s the most nonsensical, idiotic dream you guys have ever had? 😁

I keep having this dream where I'm running late for school.

So, I hop in my car and it just won't start.
I check the gas tank (which is right by the ash tray) and realize my dad filled it with tea instead of gas!

Well, no wonder it won't crank, I guess! 😁

I was stuck in some house and bullets were flying everywhere around me! Absolute carnage!

The whole vibe was like being trapped in Saving Private Ryan.

Suddenly, I feel this crushing weight on my chest... I can't breathe. I press my hand against my ribs and suddenly I'm gasping like I just downed a bottle of cheap bourbon, but my hand is sticking to my shirt. I start panicking, trying to pull my hand away, only to realize there’s a hole the size of a fist where a rib used to be, tearing right through my right lung. Then the alarm goes off and it's back to the grind!!!

But I have to admit, I don't think I've ever been as terrified in my life as I was during that dream.

Joseph Edwards86 - 🤣 🤣 🤣

By the way, I just had a flashback... I’m wandering through a place that feels like Venice, and there's this massive crowd trailing behind me because, apparently, I’m the Queen of Denmark ( 🤣 )
.
The whole thing revolves around this crown of mine with eleven spokes—well, actually twelve, though one is slightly dented (and honestly, that little imperfection is exactly why it’s worth 😁)
.
So, we roll up to some big public square, and the place is absolutely swarming with geese. I just give a royal wave and bark out: "I want all those geese! Round them all up for me!"

Suddenly, about fifty little guys show up, pushing these huge wire mesh bins—the kind they use in high school gyms to store basketballs and medicine balls—and they start shoveling the geese inside... 😵

Lost count of how many there were...

Like that time I was cruising from NYC to Philly using a Persian rug as a skateboard through the woods;
Or when I dreamed about gummy bears with a French manicure;
Or those creepy eye stickers you find at a local church bazaar...
Or playing Russian roulette, blowing my brains out, and then sticking two fingers in the hole in my temple just to feel my brain...

There’s plenty. ☕

Speaking of cats, a friend and I once got so high we just sat there in the middle of downtown, right by some planters with kittens, screaming our heads off in pure terror.

You're hopeless.
I forget about a hundred dreams the second I wake up, no matter how wild they were, so I have no idea which one of mine is actually the craziest.

Yeah... I had this dream where I actually gave birth to a shoe. At that point, you've officially entered nightmare territory. I remember feeling this massive wave of embarrassment, even though it was just a dream—mostly because the damn thing was a size 7, and I’m a size 10.

Honestly, it's the same for me. Most of them slip away, some come back in half-baked fragments, and others are just impossible to put into words—it's like my vocabulary fails me, a concept I remember from those old psychology textbooks 😁... but every once in a while, one really sticks with you.

Hmm

I've been having this same dream for weeks now.

I'm walking through the city, driving my Chevy, eventually making my way to the town square.

The setting is fine.
But none of the people I pass on the street or in the car have actual faces—just the general shape of a face and some hair or a hat. 🤔

It’s been years since I last had this dream.
Last time I can remember was maybe ten or twelve years ago.

And now, here it is again.

Hmm. Not exactly a pleasant way to wake up.

😂

A friend of mine constantly dreams about being pregnant, and they're always unhinged. One time she dreamed her stomach was split in two—half had a baby, and the other half just had an egg 🙂 . Long story short, she ends up giving birth to an egg instead of a kid, and she wasn't even bummed... to her, that egg was the most beautiful thing in the world. 😁

As for me, nothing crazy comes to mind right now. I'm also running a bit low on time, but I'll post if I remember anything decent. 👋

P.S. Great thread 👍

One time, she dreamed she was pregnant, but her stomach felt split into two distinct sections: one side held a baby, while the other just held an egg 🙂 . To make a long story short, instead of a human child, she ends up laying an egg—and she’s not even upset about it! In the dream, that egg is her baby, and she thinks it's the most beautiful thing in the world 😁

As for me, nothing specific comes to mind right now. I'm also running a bit tight on time, but I'll post here as soon as I recall something worth mentioning 👋

P.S. Great thread 👍

thanks 🙂

By the way, I also frequently have dreams about being pregnant and giving birth... and I always end up birthing some kind of monster, yet there's zero pain, which honestly leaves me totally confused..

I once had this dream where I was riding on a tour bus headed toward San Francisco with my favorite mother figure by my side. We’re just cruising along—really taking in the scenery—when we hit a breathtaking stretch of the coastline. We even had one of those professional tour guides with us, narrating everything about the landscape, and suddenly, the view opens up into something so magnificent that the entire bus erupts into spontaneous applause out of sheer awe.

Everything feels normal enough.

I haven't had this dream in ages.
Last time I can remember was maybe 10 or 12 years ago.

And now it's back.

Huh. Not exactly clear what's up there.

I don't usually buy into dream analysis, but when they start looping like yours, there's usually a reason.
For instance, I used to have this recurring dream where I'm driving, totally clueless how to actually drive, just spinning the wheel blindly while praying I don't crash and die. 😛 One time I was hanging out with someone who looked like they stepped straight out of one of those supernatural mystery movies (😁), and they told me to pay attention to my life circumstances next time it happens. They interpreted my "driving" as my life journey, and all the obstacles as things I'd eventually navigate successfully... so yeah. 😁 ...

The last stupid thing that happened was when eight of my friends and I piled into a taxi and let some guy drive us around town. We pulled up to my apartment building, and there was this band riding in the elevator with us. I told them they were just going to the second floor, so they hopped out. The nine of us got back in the cab, but then the driver starts pulling over on random highway on-ramps to drop people off one by one. I was the last one left, and he finally dropped me at my place right as I realized I had no way to pay him. I asked if he took cards, and the guy said yeah. He swipes the card through a handheld reader 😕 and calls some dispatch center on his cell. I woke up in a total panic.

That all makes sense,

but dreaming about faceless people? 🤔 hmm
I’d settle for having one interesting dream, but I’ve been stuck with this for two or three weeks now. 😕
It's the pattern that worries me, not necessarily the content—though knowing what it means wouldn't hurt.

I had this dream where I was out in the middle of some forest, but there was a paved road running right through it. A coworker from my office was there with me.🙄 Suddenly, a goat comes charging at us. He ducks out of the way, but the goat hits me right in the kidney. It hurt so much I actually woke up from the pain in my side...🙄

I once had this dream where I was riding a mare... then in the morning, my mother-in-law tells me she dreamed that my father-in-law was riding that same horse and ended up falling off...🤣

I’m always having these weird, pointless dreams, but I just forget them all anyway.🙄

Holy crap, lady, you must be higher than Leon in the seventies if you're having dreams like that. 😵

Pass that blunt, man!

Last month, I had this dream where Federer passed away. Then, just a bit later—still in the dream—it hits me that he’s playing in the Australian Open, but then I remember, wait, he can't play in Australia... he's dead. It left me feeling pretty rattled 😢
Usually, I can figure out why I'm dreaming about certain things, but how this specific nonsense got stuck in my head? No clue.
