Google Chrome is amazing, just a little bit too much on its own...

Been using Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 for a bit now, and honestly? I can say it’s a pretty solid program with some... interesting features.

The "fun" parts:

1. First, I try to stop my default browser from popping open links from my email client in brand new windows. No luck there.

2. Then yesterday, it starts opening links in tabs within windows that already have other pages open. Not complaining though. :-)

3. Today, I fire up John Doe, click a link for a new forum reply, and it opens in my first browser window. Click a second link? Same window again, but no tabs. I'm looking for where the page went, only to find it opened as a new window inside an existing window, so I had to hit the back button. And yeah, it’s still doing that today.

Just great. You never know what's coming next.

Yeah, sure, it works fine on the homepage, but once you dig deeper, it just stops, and my computer starts lagging like crazy.

As far as I'm concerned, Mozilla handles the nytimes.com site just fine without any hiccups.

Alright, I just finally blocked that damn

pizzabox.nytimes.com in my HOSTS file, so now I can finally browse Opera without all that junk getting in the way🙂

Internet Explorer 1.0 handles surfing without any issues. nytimes.com It's happening here, too.

My experiences using Edge haven't been nearly as interesting 😢

Man, I've got Netscape running on everything😁

I haven't run into any issues with Chrome myself—and I use it quite extensively, perhaps even a bit too much, if I'm being honest😢

So, what's the deal with that little red circle under the restore down icon (the one right between minimize and close) that pops up when there's a critical update waiting? You click it to grab the update, and then the whole browser just crashes during the install. Anyone else dealt with this?🙄
