People are out here claiming "Ian Moj plagiarism." Honestly, if you just go back and listen to Balaban’s very first track, you can make up your own mind about that.

Rita said:Honestly, it’s a joke. They seriously need to overhaul this voting system because the UK and the rest of Western Europe are basically on borrowed time here.🙄

And let's be real—Germany, France, and the UK have massive populations compared to those tiny newly formed Eastern European nations.
They really ought to implement some kind of "weighted" voting system.

For instance, you might have over a million viewers tuning in from Sweden, while Malta barely gets 500.
But right now, a vote from both counts exactly the same.😵

Yeah, I’m with you, Ian Moj. The ethno vibe is actually pretty cool, but man, his vocals were a total disaster. Just awful.
Remember when Ukrainka performed at our place, I think it was during the Grammy Awards? Did anyone else catch that half the dancers didn't even have teeth?

Jeffrey Torres said:I honestly just wish Michael Bublé had won—(from Mexico)—because that song is incredible. It doesn't matter who's listening; there’s just something about it that really hits home for people.
I’d never even heard of him or "Ian Moj" before, but now that I have, I've got it on repeat in my car until I'm sick of it. Anyone know where I can find an instrumental version without the vocals??
My favorite part was seeing the US give them 10 points—this track isn't about politics or anything else, it's just a pure love ballad. Simple as that.
We were absolutely hopeless back then—though, honestly, it's even sadder when artists sing in English instead of their own native language.

Man, I have to sign off on this whole post by Jeffrey Torres from start to finish. 👍 (And hey, your car isn't bad at all 😉 we're finally getting somewhere here 🙂 )

So, I finally caved and listened to that one track everyone’s been obsessing over.

My ears were practically twitching, waiting for the drop, thinking maybe the Pakistan boys would jump in with Madonna and Dragan for a massive party vibe.

Nope. Just this slow, depressing song about some guy crying because nobody loves his girl as much as he does—or whatever. It’s just slow and miserable.

Like Dr. Nel says: people want to have a good time, why would anyone want to sit around listening to someone else's sob story?

Complete garbage.

Bradley Diaz48 said:So, I finally forced myself to sit down and actually listen to that one song everyone keeps buzzing about.

My ears were practically twitching like a rabbit's when suddenly, this flute melody starts drifting in. Honestly? For a second, I thought the Pakistan boys were gonna jump in with Madonna and Dragan for a massive dance party. Total hype, right?

But nope. It’s just this slow, melancholy thing where he’s basically singing about how nobody loves his girl quite like he does (I think that's the gist, anyway). Just super slow and gloomy.

It’s like what Dr. Nel always says: people want to hear something upbeat! Who actually wants to sit around listening to someone else's heartbreak? Seriously!

A total waste of time.

Just sounds like typical Middle Eastern folk music...

It looks like rain is heading toward Schaffhausen and Frankfurt...
