Oh, wonderful. Once someone else posts about how they once lost their right hand and blood was spraying everywhere—as if that's nothing to worry about—then I can finally go to sleep in peace.

My right hand wasn't severed, but I did see something similar in an old movie. I was browsing through some old discs, just taking it easy, when I stumbled upon a scene where they had a guy tied up and started cutting his arm. It was revolting! I tried to click the 'X' to shut it off, but I couldn't click fast enough. Disgusting.

I wouldn't say I have phobias, but I certainly don't enjoy watching graphic injuries unfold. And as for dogs? It isn't a phobia, either; I simply don't care for them.

Madwoman said:Oh, fantastic. Just great. I guess we should wait for someone else to chime in with some story like, "Oh, one time they sliced my right hand clean off and blood was spraying everywhere... this isn't even a big deal, don't worry about it," and then maybe—just maybe—I can finally get some peaceful sleep.

So, what actually happened? 😢

I honestly can’t even wrap my head around those single-legged caterpillars, leeches, or ticks...😱 😱 😱
And yeah, I’m terrified of heights. Look, I’m perfectly fine if I’m sitting down and there’s some sturdy safety railing nearby. But if I actually have to stand up? It’s dangerous... my knees just start shaking uncontrollably.

Come on, Arthur Barnes, don't give me that crap right now; this is serious.

amberjackal14, if you're actually interested, there's a thread over on the health forum (😁). Honestly, nothing is wrong—I just have nothing better to do, so I'm panicking. Probably.🙄

amberjackal14, if you're really that obsessed, there's a whole thread on health stuff (😁), but honestly, nothing is wrong, I just don't have anything better to do so I'm spiraling. I guess.🙄

God, are you a hypochondriac? Is that the right word? Because when I read that, I was like, holy crap, they cut your arm off or something. It's just some pimples, man. Seriously, stop worrying about it—like I said, check the health board 😳 it’s not like it's going to kill you.😉

So, did I ever tell you guys about the time I was just chilling in bed and suddenly realized there was this massive tick burrowed right into my upper arm? I swear, I moved so slowly—like, painfully slow—trying to get out of bed without ripping it off and leaving whatever nasty little stinger thing stays stuck in my skin... I was basically crawling toward the bathroom to grab the rubbing alcohol and some tweezers. On my way, I gave my dog a massive kick in the hallway, too, because honestly, how many times do I have to tell him he’s not allowed in my bed? 😠 But then, the second I flipped the bathroom light on, I realized it wasn't a tick at all. It was just a watermelon seed. So, seriously, don't freak out over nothing 😁 😁

Look, I’m not exactly terrified of a watermelon seed spike—I eat them without any issues anyway—but ticks? Having those things on me? That’s a different story altogether.😱
One time, I was just lounging around in some tall grass, having the absolute best time, until I woke up the next morning to find an uninvited little guest crawling all over me...😱
Ever since then, there is no way in hell I am rolling around in the grass, no matter how peaceful or inviting it looks.

I have a massive phobia of seaweed. If anything brushes against my leg while I'm swimming, I experience instant vertical acceleration that launches me straight out of the water and onto someone's shoulders nearby.

I actually used to be terrified of spiders, too, but I managed to cure myself after getting bitten by one that was a little more dangerous than your average house spider. Honestly, I was shaking so hard from the panic attack that I didn't even feel the pain when I ended up using a lighter to cauterize the bite wound. After that... the fear just vanished. 😕
(P.S. I definitely wouldn't recommend this particular "therapy" for arachnophobia)

So, one of my exes was actually terrified of balloons. 😍 😍
You couldn't even walk up to her with one in your face without things getting weird. 😍
She’d skip weddings entirely just because of it—like, she had a legit phobia. 😍
Honestly, you have no idea what it's like dating someone with a fear of balloons. Next time you're having a rough day, just think about that and laugh, okay? I swear, someone who's afraid of balloons just can't be a bad person. 😍

Did she ever get scared of those inflatable pants? You know, the ones where you pump them up and they look like a giant balloon with a tiny little bubble on top?

Trust me, we had much better uses for condoms than blowing bubbles... 😛

Have you ever tried blowing one up just to test the waters? You know, purely for clinical research purposes. It would be interesting to see if she's actually afraid of balloons specifically, or if it's just anything inflated.

Man, give me a break—a balloon is a balloon, regardless of what you blow it up with... You're being so extra, honestly... just like a woman...

And here I was, thinking I loooove balloons...

🙂

Alright, I'm done. Clearly, you've got a bit of a thing against women going on here.
