Apparently, Gibson only saved the Scots 😁 and those mutated Australians, while Nicholson gets cast as the villain...
Well... It’s a good thing they mentioned Cruise... But what about Reeves?!

From being a total underdog in Commando to becoming a Governor—talk about a career arc!😁

I’ve watched Commando so many times that my brother and I actually sat down once just to tally how many guys Arnold takes out—I can't remember the exact number offhand, but it was somewhere between 95 and 100.🙏 🙏

The only issue is that he’s really only killing about ten "unique" people... you know, because the camera keeps hitting those same damn corners over and over again.😁

That open field scene is massive and just hits different. Commando is easily the best movie ever made, mostly because of how many mindless bad guys get taken out.
But seriously, why hasn't anyone brought up Bruce Willis? After he saves all those hostages in Nakatomia, plus half of New York City...

...honestly, the ultimate movie hero is Darth Vader...the guy went through it all...from being a good kid with actual potential to becoming the biggest mother fucker and baddest guy in the galaxy, only for his love for his son to take over at the end so the evil Emperor can take him out. He saved the galaxy and fulfilled the prophecy in one go. Pure blockbuster material right there.😁

...it really just comes down to whether the producers and writers can actually pull a solid script together...😁

hm... nothing to add here. 😁

By the way, you didn't specify if you're asking this seriously or just messing around?

Because I see people starting to lump "kill the mockingbird" and "Predator" into the same category, and that just doesn't work. And plenty of others too... 🙂
I took this as a joke, and Gregory and the mockingbird are some other kind of heroes entirely—way too far removed from the ones mentioned here.

Except for Darth Vader, of course. 😁

🤔 "Ask yourself... do I feel lucky?" Clint Eastwood style
or maybe
🤔 "Say hello to my little friend!" Al Pacino
Give both of them a vote if you can😁

I honestly think we need to start drawing a line between an actor's actual persona and the characters they play when we're talking about heroism.
I mean, how much can one single actor really embody heroism—and is it even possible for them to be considered a hero at all—unless they’re basically the living embodiment of The Duke? Which, by the way, isn't even on this list.

Could someone clarify things for me? Are we voting for the most iconic actor or the most legendary character? I could probably wrap my head around the first one, but I feel like I’m flying blind without more info on the second. Since I’ve heard that California-made Schraufnciger and Istvud steel just don't mix well, having a bit more background on the actors themselves would definitely help clear the air. Also, did everyone just forget to mention Rambo? 😁 (meaning Stallone) By the way, mods, you can always expand this poll to include as many characters as you want. (just a little hint here 🙂)

Bruce Willis is the absolute legend
The Die Hard trilogy combined with some gritty rock anthems makes for an incredible ride.

Where on earth is Bat Živojinović?!?
Here’s a pitch for the screenwriters for the ultimate action movie:
Bat Živojinović vs. Bruce... (man, I’d give anything to see that!)

Dirty Harry says 😁
I know what you're thinking. Did he fire six shots or only five? To be honest, with everything going on, I’ve lost count myself. But since we're talking about a .44 Magnum—arguably the most devastating handgun on the planet, capable of taking a man's head right off—you really have to ask yourself just one thing. Do I feel lucky?
Well, do ya, punk?

Clint is an absolute legend 🙏

I’d put those commas in a different spot.😁 Why isn't it "Well do ya, punk?"
