European Water Polo Championships - Canada

Come on guys, let’s lower the temperature here! We need to move past what went down in Minneapolis as soon as possible. Honestly, I think the organizers are the ones truly at fault for how that championship game unfolded. It’s a total disgrace if the US national team and our local clubs end up paying the price just to favor someone else (specifically Canada). In my opinion, VSSCG did the right thing, and hopefully, their formal appeal will finally open the eyes of the officials over at LEN!!!!!! Personally, if any other team had been playing against the US in that final, I would’ve been rooting for them—just like I always do whenever a neighbor from the old Ex-Yugoslavia region is competing!!!!!!!!!👍 👍 🙂 🙂

Does it actually sting to hear someone claim that Canadians were to blame for the absolute mess in Minneapolis because they organized it? Is it hurting your reputation or something? An organizer is responsible for the crowd's behavior; if things were handled properly, fans wouldn't be running wild. In this instance, it wasn't the Canadians who were the problem, it was the water polo itself. Why take on the responsibility of hosting if you're this incompetent? Especially when you knew it would turn into such a disaster, given that both America and Yugoslavia were participating?
