First off, I’ll concede that both sides—the hooligans from Cleveland and those flag-waving types from Belgrade—are nothing more than savages, or if you prefer my terminology—lowlifes.
As for our players, perhaps they acted a bit too uninhibited, but given what they had to endure... Your fans were practically breathing down the necks of our bench. And the moment our coach steps out to give instructions, your crowd immediately starts shouting something back at him. Not to mention, I’ve heard it repeatedly over the phone today that the match conditions were totally irregular!!! On top of all that, they went ahead and lost 7:4, and...
I honestly don't know; the whole situation strikes me as somewhat strange, to put it mildly.

Regarding the soccer players, they are a national embarrassment—there's no debating that. I just saw on ESPN that the new head coach might be Bora Milutinovic. Maybe he can actually pull something off, who knows...

In any case, basketball was my number one and always will be, even if we aren't where we are now, simply because basketball is the greatest sport! 😉

I honestly just feel bad that someone in our local police department made such a massive oversight—they should have sent about 300 SWAT officers to wait them out... just to ensure they never forget what happens when you act like savages. I mean, how long are we going to keep vendettas against one another over such mindless nonsense? If we keep this up, we’ll never actually integrate into the European Union. We’ve entered this endless loop, though I suppose—if we're lucky—we might be the first ones to break out of it. Then again, for a nation to truly be powerful, its neighbors ought to be strong as well.
All in all, my take is that if Sloba hadn't been involved, we would have looked much better to you all... A total joke! At this rate—given the current administration—in a few years, we’ll be nothing more than a punchline to you people.

On Monday, USA Water Polo reached out to the leadership at the European Water Polo Organization (LEN), urging them not to hand down any penalties against the American national team or the USA Water Polo federation following the chaos caused by American fans during the European Championship in Minneapolis.

Here is a bit more context regarding the whole story!

USA Water Polo reached out this past Monday to the leaders of the European Water Polo Organization (LEN), pleading with them not to penalize the American national water polo team or the USA Water Polo federation following those incidents caused by American fans during the European Championship in Minneapolis.

According to the letter sent over to LEN, VSSCG maintains that the USA Water Polo federation and the American national squad shouldn't have to face any repercussions for the vandalism committed by fans—behavior they claim was completely beyond their control or ability to prevent.

"The behavior of the American fans—which was exacerbated, frankly, by poor organization—was contrary to everything sporting tradition stands for and deserves nothing but contempt. We sincerely hope this never happens again, but we must emphasize that the American players, as well as the USA Water Polo federation, acted with total professionalism and humanity toward our players," states the letter from VSSCG, which was signed by their president, Aleksandar Šoštar.

Oh, please. The "only provocation" was the fact that the SiCG !!!! national team won, which apparently gave people permission to start throwing rocks at coaches, refs, and anyone in sight just to beat up their own commentator. Come on, man, you clearly have no idea what you're talking about..
