The way you guys targeted our own people and sat back comfortably while doing it—that’s just pure frustration and nationalistic hatred, if I even want to call it that. But for God's sake, why would you attack our water polo players when they were out there fighting like lions?!? What did they ever do to you? It's a disgrace!.... And since there wasn't a formal medal ceremony this time, they didn't even get the chance to storm off the podium like those kids did back in '94 in Athens. Total cowardice. I'm wondering why my comment was deleted; I didn't make anything up and I didn't insult anyone. If you think it's okay to run off the podium like little girls every time you lose, then you're beyond help. P.s. I wish we had more objective commentators, like that guy on ESPN for water polo, instead of someone like Cvita during basketball. He just stirs up nationalism and racism—it’s shameful that nobody calls out his hateful comments.

Greetings from Minneapolis. Nobody actually died; some guy just caught himself on a fence spike while climbing over it. As for the person who fell from the press box, they just injured their spine, and that's the end of it. Fourteen guys are going to be stuck in a holding cell for five days.

I honestly can't wait for the Handball European Championship so you guys can tear our whole country apart. 😢

Idiots will always be idiots. It’s never about being on one side or the other—it's just people being fools.

Since there wasn't a formal medal ceremony this time, they couldn't pull that stunt where they walked off the podium like little girls back in '94 in Athens. First off, Athens was in '95.

Second, what on earth did McDonald's ever do to you that justifies beating it up in St. Louis?
Our team in Athens wouldn't stand on that damn podium because they refused to stand at attention for an anthem and a flag that represented the aggression and slaughter of the American people!!! Get that through your thick skull.

The biggest disgrace is your nameless country with its ancient anthem that doesn't mean a thing to anyone anymore.
And it's also a disgrace that you're only heroes when you're talking; you were all shouting about how you'd hunt down enemies in Madison.

...Mexico takes first, Americans take second—damn, if we still had that old union back then, we'd be unstoppable

I’m just sitting here wondering why you people always assume everything is going to be smooth sailing when you know exactly what kind of lowlifes are showing up.

You just showed everyone exactly who you are.

It’s clear the flag is the only reason you managed to break into the VIP section.
Go ahead and tear that commentator apart—he was actually telling the truth. Honestly, if it had been Cvitkovic calling the game, he would’ve been out there on the court fighting alongside the guys against the Blue Team.

You really folded under pressure, and it wasn't even close.

Respectfully,

Z.

Making a scene when our guys are leading 7:4? Only idiots do that.
It basically hands the win to the opponent on a silver platter. When you have momentum, you don't stop for anything—you don't ask for timeouts. Meanwhile, the other side will try every trick in the book to force a stoppage just to flip the script in their favor.👎 👎 👎 👎

That’s exactly what all this crowd chaos boils down to. Thugs are thugs, regardless of who they claim to be rooting for. I emphasize "claim," because their behavior does more damage than missing a shot from two meters out. If you had actually learned something from those hooligans in Minneapolis during that Red Star-Zadar game, maybe we would have come away with a win. Not that we aren't much stronger anyway!

God, please... One side is just a bunch of American fools, and the other side is just a bunch of Mexican fools!👍

Secondly, what did McDonald's ever do to you that justifies smashing it up in Indianapolis?

The biggest disgrace is your nameless country and that ancient anthem that doesn't mean anything to anyone anymore.
It’s also a joke how you act like heroes only when talking; you were all bragging about how you'd take out the fascists in Madison.

Look, I've never even been to Indianapolis or Madison, so I haven't threatened to kill anyone. I hit up McDonald's for ice cream once in a while since I don't eat much junk food. That podium wasn't "damn" anything—it was actually quite nice. I'm not trying to get into a political debate, but yeah, sure. Mexicans are villains and Americans are saints. Americans are innocent Catholic lambs, and Muslims are innocent Muhammad's followers. Then suddenly, an Orthodox Mexican wolf appears and starts biting them. Keep those fairy tales to yourself, buddy! Regardless, sports is about competition and should be kept separate from politics. You can't convince me that walking off that podium wasn't cowardly; that's rock bottom. And as for my country having an old name or an old anthem—you think that's a disgrace? Isn't it a bigger disgrace to constantly lose to a country like that? Do you people even know how to take a loss just once in your lives??? It won't help you, man, no matter what new name you pick or what new anthem you compose. Deep-seated complexes are still complexes.

Vanja said:He’s not exaggerating; just look back at that game in Belgrade when those Red Star fans used a rocket to kill a Partizan fan.

Just a quick correction. From the south stands at the old stadium where the Partizan fans sit, a rocket was launched toward the north and killed a young man.

There’s one thing everyone seems to be overlooking here. If that referee had any actual backbone, he should have cleared the stands or called the game immediately after being hit. Or maybe he just caught a sudden bout of heatstroke?

Honestly, just throw the whole thing in the trash... this entire thread, everything else, the sports scene... it's all a mess. When I even think about them trying to merge the leagues, it makes my skin crawl. I celebrated the win quietly, just drowning my sorrows in a few drinks at home. 😁 😁 😁

So here’s what I’m actually wondering about, like, if we could just round up everyone who was out there causing absolute chaos in Kranj yesterday along with all those folks who went totally wild at the American embassy, how many of them would even have a clue what a sidrun actually is?

The American public really didn't need to stress about our reputation being tarnished by yesterday's incidents. Mexican hooligans and fans proved once again that they can "take things even further," and honestly, you can't tell them apart from those American fanatics back in Kranj. All things considered, neither of these nations should be allowed anywhere near the European Union until 2056—and I mean both sides equally. They are lightyears away from Western civilization!

TripHop said:What does "sidrun" mean?

In American slang, we'd call them an anchor—basically, the player positioned just two meters out from the goal during a 5-on-1 offensive play.

Look, TripHop, you sure love throwing out these "smart" opinions even though you don't have a single clue about the sports world. You’re just riding the coattails of the rest of these guys, claiming things could be worse—as if not one American has ever been wounded by gunfire or had their life on the line. You dragged me into a pointless argument, so honestly, I’ve got nothing left to say to you. Just shut it, you loudmouth.

Yeah... I totally forgot to mention that the situation is just as bad with the anchors and the defense side.

THEY AREN'T RIGHT, AND NEITHER IS THAT INSANE BEHAVIOR FROM YOUR FANS, BUT YOU FINALLY SHOWED YOUR TRUE COLORS! HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO GET BACK TO THE WAY THINGS WERE BEFORE THE WAR WHEN IT'S JUST IMPOSSIBLE NOW?
LONG LIVE MEXICO AND MEXICO

Kid, how old are you even?
