The subforum says messages, complaints, and comments so I figured I might be allowed to comment on this thread and the mods over at the soap factory without being punished.
I have absolutely no intention of accusing any of the moderators, nor am I filing a specific grievance; I simply desire a few remarks from those who moderate the soap factory.

I have been typing on forums for quite some time, yet this is my first time engaging regarding a soap factory, and I am nearly stunned by the state of the Force thread.
I even received a warning for spamming and chatting and whatever else 🤷 though it truly does not matter. I have never complained about penalties; after all, I am aware of the rules and I accept them, so the punishments are merely a part of this entire situation.

The sheer amount of biased opinions and impressions on the Force thread is terrifying. There is content that has absolutely nothing to do with actual events or the character in the series, which gets "wrapped up" into a post just so it doesn't look like blatant spam or trolling, and those posts remain on the thread. Not to mention the constant chatting between a few forum members, the worshipful clapping on the same posts, and those one-sentence posts claiming how Force is stupid again.

The thread is simply unreadable to anyone who does not despise the character Force. For someone who happens upon it, the thread doesn't even look like a discussion about the series; it looks like a thread dedicated solely to the character Force, with occasional comments about others added just to glaze over the truth.

It is highly unusual that such things are permitted on an American forum like this one, an American forum where I always believed the rules were respected and that people strictly adhered to staying on topic and avoiding spam.
I have stated several times now that it is a shame, as I get the impression that the mods don't actually watch the show; if they did, the thread would not look the way it does.

I am not even sure what I hope to achieve with this thread. I have no intention of tarnishing anyone's reputation, nor do I believe anything significant will change, and I am certainly not here on behalf of the girls who were banned or left the thread of their own accord... I simply wanted to voice my commentary on everything because I find it unacceptable that all of this is allowed to happen.

Kind regards,
Keith Diaz5 🙂

Look, I genuinely, truly have no clue. I wasn't even being sarcastic. I’m reading this for the third time and I still don't get it.

Oh, and while we're at it, please list the usernames of the women who bailed on this thread. Let's actually hear from them for once. Based on all the complaints about the soap factory, there should be about twelve people missing. But my math isn't adding up. Ladies, women, mothers, or whoever else walked away from this discussion because—for reasons I can't even begin to fathom—you couldn't make sense of the mess above, please, speak up. Thank you.

As I stated before... I wasn't expecting to achieve anything, and I was proven right. Everything was already laid bare in the original thread, and this comment only confirms it. Should I list the names of those who posted there but have since vanished, or should I write to the moderators about the state of this entire topic?
Can you not see the issue? Or perhaps you don't see why my comment is even here? Fine. If there is no problem, then go ahead and delete this one too, or punish me for "disturbing the peace" (how dare I?). It makes no difference to me.

But... one is permitted to comment in this subforum, is one not?

Exactly! If you’re going to make such an adamant claim, back it up with some actual facts. In plain English: you don't have an answer. This whole long-winded lecture is just a byproduct of you being offended because everyone else on this thread isn't busy building an altar to Force.

Don't you see the problem, or why my comment is here now?

Even you don't know why you made that comment, question, or criticism—whatever it is. How am I supposed to know?

Fine, no problem. Just delete this one too, or punish me for "harassment" (if I even dare?). Whatever.

Pure drama. It's the last refuge of a critic who has zero arguments left.

But like I said... commenting is allowed in this subforum, right?

Sure, you can always comment. But if you actually have a question and want an answer, it would make life easier for everyone if you could just state it coherently.

Right now, we're stuck with a comment where you don't even know why you wrote it, a thread that isn't being moderated, yet somehow you've still racked up several warnings. You're like a phantom refugee drifting from thread to subforum, criticizing other people's views which—disturbingly, as you put it—have nothing to do with real events. I honestly have no idea how to help you.

Well, I am actually quite glad you wrote this because, in the end, everything is becoming perfectly clear—the what, the how, and the where it all comes from.
I maintain that some girls have simply given up, while others are just "bananas" (though none of them are among those criticizing force)
A huge number of women who post on the soap factory forums watch force, yet they refuse to comment on the thread. Let me list a few quickly: S.N.O.B., Diddilly (definitely a banana very soon), ball, Gerald Bailey88, mrvica1234 (also a banana). I can't think of any more right now, but I am telling you: there are so many who don't even want to weigh in because of the atmosphere prevailing there. Most fans of Cans probably follow the series too, but somehow I just don't see them in the thread. Or perhaps I am just imagining things?

You didn't even try; instead, you immediately pigeonholed me into the group of people who, and I quote: build an altar to force.

What drama? You are the only one creating drama here. I brought up a comment regarding the topic of force, but I haven't even commented on the main topic itself—and you still don't have a real response, yet you have plenty of comments claiming I am being dramatic. 🤷

I would also love to see a comment on the actual topic; my first post is right there in the thread about force. All I have received from you is bewilderment as to why I even started it, along with labels: drama, no arguments, quitter. And all of this delivered with such a condescending tone. (Now I am just waiting for you to tell me how pathetic I am.)

I never once said this thread wasn't being moderated.
You are categorizing me prematurely; you are claiming that I am offended. But, I continue to post on this thread (it is quite difficult to offend me), and I absolutely do not belong to those who worship Force in word or deed.
You turned against me immediately, and without even addressing the topic at hand. In my very first post, I wrote something regarding the subject itself and everything surrounding it, and I expected to receive answers about that—not an analysis of why I started it or constant insistence on naming specific usernames. I came here on my own, I am alone in this thread, and I see no necessity to name anyone here.
The topic is unreadable to anyone who doesn't despise the character of Force. It is truly unfortunate that within this "lack of despise," you immediately saw someone infatuated with Force. Perhaps that is where the misunderstanding of my comment and everything else stems from?

Keith Diaz5You're spot on. Sadly, you're just wasting your breath—the whole organized group has the moderators backing them up. You can see it in how they punish anyone who speaks up against comments like "she got what was coming to her" regarding a guy being aggressive toward a woman, or that garbage about "he just took what was his" when talking about force rape... it's all the same...
No matter how many times people pointed out those comments and acted disgusted—the one person who actually spoke up about it got banned, while the actual trolls just keep posting... typical.
It’s honestly pathetic that you don't get anything at all, ambermason16. It's pretty sad you're coming at me with this tone—I didn't even do anything to trigger it... I guess I should just be grateful you haven't started prescribing medication online too, since apparently that's just how you handle people here—not that you actually have the authority to do that anyway. Why am I even surprised anymore...

For example, my comment:
I can't believe people actually fall for this stuff—it’s honestly embarrassing... if you don't see through the nonsense by now, you're just lost. Just common sense, really.

Like Blood Dim—who wouldn't have been able to read this anywhere else...

Blood Dim... said:Look, this whole post of yours—it's just pure spite, and honestly, it doesn't fly anywhere... You can't just claim you're going to break the rules just because someone else decided to ignore them.

It’s honestly pathetic that all you see is some personal attack—you just keep belittling everyone on this forum instead of actually engaging...
That’s exactly why I bailed on this thread seven days ago—and as you can see, ambermason16 thinks "that" just means the mods are biased and doing a terrible job handling the Force topic... You're wrong about point three, though...

You’re commenting without even reading the post—making all these bad calls just because you can't stand me... and you won't be seeing me around this thread anytime soon anyway. You're only right about that one thing...
ambermason16 said:Just another page full of empty buzzwords... don't even need to read it to know exactly what you wrote...

The mods are biased...
So many people are jumping off this thread just because of that—though "that" is never actually defined...
You probably feel the same way—so what's stopping you from showing up in the thread tonight...

Everything's been answered so many times already—honestly don't even see the point in saying another word...

Keith Diaz5 Gerald Hill2 was targeted for no reason—it was just a coordinated hit by that little group disguised as "random rain"... Everyone else moved over to the spoiler threads just so they can talk without worrying about getting jumped by haters. You can easily look back at what those women used to post on the main board versus how they only show up in spoilers now. They even bring it up themselves in their comments...
So now everything is just perfect—everyone’s happy, everyone agrees, everyone’s just chatting away and acting like they love each other to death... constant little trips being planned, all this fake stuff about how things "should" be, and they never miss an opportunity to mention how stupid the Force is... oh, and that actress is a moron too...
Pure bliss...
The only issue is that it’s got nothing to do with that show airing on FOX at 9...

Way to go, mods and admins... seriously, great job!!!!

🤦

I’m calling on all of you to walk away from these threads immediately. Between the pathetic moderation and the even worse way they treat Force, there's no point staying. To make sure you aren't targeted by some moderator conspiracy—and considering everything you've already poured into these posts that only twenty people actually read before missing the entire point anyway—it’s best if you just head over to the soap factory instead. It’s going to be rough; the void you two leave behind will be massive, but I guess we'll manage somehow. Go ahead! Show us! Just walk out and leave us high and dry.

You have absolutely no idea how exhausted I am from having my name dragged through the mud over this absolute nonsense. We're talking about a phantom group that the moderators let run wild, invisible forum users mass-exiting threads, and endless reports about "harassment" toward fictional characters. It's ridiculous.

And just a final note: Force doesn't even exist; the guy is just a character in the soap factory; I'm done with this discussion... or whatever this mess is supposed to be. You two go right ahead and carry on with each other.

tsk, tsk,...not reading again. I left seven days ago, dear ambermason16. All because of you and your arrogance. It’s honestly pathetic how you claim the twenty of you don't understand what's being said here. Anyone (who actually watches Force) who heads over to the main thread knows—or will know—exactly what we're talking about.
And everyone following the spoilers knows too.
It’s a joke. Only the moderators at the soap factory are clueless.
We know you don't get it. We've felt it, seen it, realized it, understood it... we just know.
As for that little group, they aren't some phantom entity (Xavi8 signed off🙂:
MAO: @ tragoreski, @ivancica, @AKIF ve @Xavka. Personal assistants: @aginica,@ moribonda ve @teuta. PR: inarak84!
Basically, an official office—they split up the shifts and duties, and they coordinate through DMs and directly on the thread.
The fact that they called themselves the lawyers for the actor and the character clearly shows they're all ganging up on the actress and the role she plays. If I hadn't read it myself, I wouldn't believe it. That's why there isn't even a single fan of Cansu on this thread.

You really posted this note in the wrong place. It belongs on the Force thread—this little group treats the main character (who is a woman with a heart of gold) worse than the absolute villain of the series.
You're right about one thing, Force is a character from a soap opera. Maybe this forum is a soap opera, but trust me, we aren't characters in one.
Take care, ambermason16. 😍

What are you talking about, ambermason16?
Why are you addressing me as if I were the one dragging your name through the mud, as if I called you out, as if I came here to defend a fictional character, as if I believe in conspiracies, or as if I am reporting posts?
Name just one single instance where I ever filed a report, name where I speak of conspiracies, where I announce an exit, or where I write in an insulting manner.
Did you even bother to read what I wrote?
Why are you pigeonholing me into certain camps and treating me like an idiot? First, you demand I clarify myself, and then you hit me with 🤦

It is almost as if you are demanding I explain nicknames that aren't even mentioned in the thread.
Yes! When you make such adamant assertions, back them up with facts. In other words, you have no answer, and this entire litany is merely the result of your indignation because everyone in the thread isn't building an altar to Force.

Even though I stated in my very first post
nor am I here in service to girls who have gone bananas or voluntarily abandoned the thread.

I was commenting on a thread that is one giant circus—a circus to which you moderators have contributed.
Why would I stop writing? Because I dared to comment on a thread within the complaint messages comments sub-forum?
I do not feel threatened by you, yet you continue to write about everything except the Force thread, which, in the judgment of several of us, is nothing more than a circus, a chat room, and a breeding ground for chauvinism.

And yes, it is wonderful that twenty people read this and that you are all in agreement. Collegiality is a lovely trait.

I’m sticking to the Force thread and I don't plan on leaving...
This whole situation—the messy moderation and the suggestion that I should just quit the thread—isn't a solution in my book... 😁

If weird things are happening, they're happening.
People are reporting spoilers that aren't even there.
And then you get these people showing up right at the end of the series whose only purpose is to trash specific characters.
I wrote something about it myself once, and looking back, I guess I was being foolish by letting myself get dragged into it, which led to my ban.
I don't believe in coincidences, honestly...

I don't need help from moderators or anyone else to defend my views. I don't even feel like I was wronged by the mods, provided things are fixed. I just think the rules are way too strict in some areas and totally vague in others. That's actually why I started my own thread, but it didn't really take off, which probably means people on this sub are fine with the rules as they are. And that's okay.
But it isn't right for moderators to tell someone—like, "just leave the thread" or "get out of the sub," as if we wouldn't care if you left...

It’s just sad to see what's considered normal, like saying an insult toward women who were victims of violence during wartime is just the same as saying there's a victim of violence within a marriage... or something along those lines...
It's sad to read claims that a husband doesn't commit force rape, he just takes what belongs to him...
It's sad to read that violence, shouting, or shoving is just a totally normal reaction when a woman won't stop talking...
Even if we are talking about a fictional character who was violated and yelled at...
It’s even sadder if this is viewed as normal behavior that shouldn't face any consequences.

I don't think everyone is against the show *Force*. I'm not looking for a hive mind.
But I do think anyone who spoils things or causes trouble (including me) should be penalized, and just as importantly, those who file false reports, make things up, or write posts that go against actual laws should be held accountable too.

Now, after everything I've been through, I really overthink what to write and whether I should even say anything at all. I feel like every single word is going to be scrutinized to see if it can be misinterpreted just so someone can hit that yellow report button. 😵
I don't have proof, and I couldn't have it even if I wanted to since I'm not a mod, but if it's true—if the same group of people is always reporting a handful of girls—a moderator could easily see that just by checking their own inbox. And I truly believe that's what's happening.

There was this one night where there was a big debate about sexual assault. Someone claimed that for a certain character, what happened was what women experienced in war, rather than calling sex without consent between a husband and wife "rape"—which I guess is a pretty strong word.
And for that discussion, which covered both depicted assaults and the concept of assault in real life (without even talking about future plot points), there were spoiler reports... you could tell by reading the moderator's blue text... I actually think ambermason16 was involved (I checked, and she was)...
Shouldn't that be punishable too?
Reporting someone for spoiling an assault that isn't even explicitly shown on screen—especially when it's clearly implied in the context before and after the scene—is just malicious. Whoever claims they aren't the one stirring the pot is just acting out of spite to push someone out of the conversation.

Honestly, those kinds of complaints are just kind of ridiculous, I guess.
You've gotta realize you aren't hanging out in a dedicated fan club for Force; this is a general discussion about the series as a whole. Just because someone doesn't share the opinion that she’s some perfect angel doesn't mean they're breaking any rules.
The moderators are here to enforce the actual rules, and none of this stuff qualifies as a violation.

@Keith Diaz5, I read through your post a few times, and I think you're complaining about exactly that—why the mods allow people to write things against Force or why they permit this kind of commentary.

But look, that's not really the mods' job. They aren't here to act as bodyguards for a soap factory character or to shut down anyone who doesn't view her as a total sweetheart.

I don't even know what else to say at this point, because, well, you said yourself it isn't a formal complaint, so maybe it's just an observation or whatever, and without specific links to problematic posts and all that, nothing is going to happen. Especially not without a concrete accusation of a rule break; a vague gripe like "Force is such a good person, why are you letting them trash her?" just isn't going to fly because it doesn't make any sense.

@Gerald Hill2

The mods can see exactly who is reporting which post. But just because someone flags something doesn't mean it's getting deleted or that the user is getting banned, especially if the mod decides the report is totally baseless.
None of you other forum users can really mess with anything through the reporting system, because ultimately, it's up to the moderator to decide if a report warrants a reaction.

A ton of reports go ignored because they're unfounded, but hey, everyone has the right to flag a post they think breaks the rules. Just remember that flagging something doesn't guarantee action will be taken against the author, so there's really nothing to fear regarding some group of users trying to gang up on someone.

If this wasn't so pathetic, I’d actually be laughing my head off.
Out of everything we've discussed, you're the only one who managed to focus on the most insignificant detail...
Not a single word about the blatant misogyny—how you guys let people post justifications for force rape, acting like "He" was just taking what was rightfully his.
The authors of those disgusting comments are still here, yet the woman who stood up against them got kicked out of the thread. We're complaining because you won't sanction such primitive behavior, while you target and shut down anyone who refuses to tolerate it. Honestly, it says everything about you.

And nothing about how you're accusing me of threatening to break rules—even though I never said anything like that... nothing at all.
By your logic, it's fine when users gang up to provoke anyone with a different opinion, but it's a crime if they make up stuff that didn't even happen in the show.
You want proof? It's all right here in the thread—just try reading it sometime. But apparently, that's too much to ask since ambermason16 openly admits she doesn't read, yet she's allowed to snap back at me like this.
Do you guys honestly think you're infallible?
Just look at the spoilers thread for comparison. The difference is night and day. The atmosphere there is great, the comments are actually constructive. Not a single one of those women is posting on the main thread anymore—and it's easy enough to see they were active before.

It would be about time the moderators started treating members with basic decency, the same way you expect from us—because the way ambermason16 aggressively talks back isn't exactly a role model.
I get it, your job isn't easy. But since you're always telling us to leave the thread, maybe you should take your own advice. If it's too much work, just step down from moderating...
I knew from the start you'd ignore whatever you don't want to see, and that talking to you is a lost cause. Because you simply don't want to listen.
I'm done adding anything else. Go ahead and attack me too, just like you have been—which is exactly why I'm walking away from this thread. Since ambermason16 was so "helpful" in suggesting it.

I don't expect the mods to be psychic Zorka types. If they aren't watching the show, and they get multiple reports about spoilers, they might get the wrong idea.
That happened to me once, and I had to prove my innocence after being banned. Bhea reacted pretty quickly, though. I'm not complaining about her at all.
But, I wonder, if the mods can see—and they can, because I used to moderate zud—if the same people are constantly making false reports, shouldn't that also be a punishable offense?

If someone wants to, they can always find some weird way to twist a post and misuse the system, flagging things as inappropriate (like spoilers, insults, off-topic chatter, or trolling).
That kind of behavior makes people who want to contribute different views from the majority stay away from the thread entirely.
It’s perfectly normal to write something that doesn't align with what others saw, to deny what was shown, or to be critical toward certain groups (like victims of force rape or violence)—basically, to have a different take on what happened. I might have my own opinion on whether a scene was good or bad, but I can't claim to have a different version of what was actually broadcast on the television.
I mean, if someone falls, I might find it funny, or sad, or maybe I won't care at all... all of that is just an opinion or an impression. But saying someone didn't fall when they clearly did isn't an opinion; that’s just missing what happened or straight-up trolling.

I'm done adding anything else. Go ahead and attack me too, just like you have been—which is exactly why I'm walking away from this thread. Since ambermason16 was so "helpful" in suggesting it.

Look, there was a massive debate about the rape once Force started her stuff and Boran raped her. The whole thread was absolutely flooded with posts; we were having to clear out spam for days straight.

There is no excuse for rape. And if someone spoke up just to draw attention to that fact, I don't think they were necessarily kicked from the thread or the forum. Rape is rape, and there’s really no point in debating that.

Anyway, I remember back when Force was raped and then ended up staying with Boran and forgiving him—it was like a bunch of roses everywhere. It’s basically the standard plotline for most of those American soap operas. And obviously, people get confused; they don't watch enough American dramas to realize that this ISN'T how things work. I even got DMs myself asking why I deleted a post where someone claimed rape was just a normal thing over there because the show made it look okay, so yeah, people say some pretty mindless stuff.

So, I don't think the mods are at fault just because people misinterpret some random American soap opera and jump to the wrong conclusions based on it.

You aren't even saying anything about how you're accusing me of threatening to act just like the people breaking the rules, even though I never actually said that. Not even close.
In your view, it's not against the rules when users team up publicly just to provoke people who disagree with them. And there's zero mention of how they're just making up events that never even happened in the show.

I'm not accusing you of anything, really. You wrote on the thread that since you've concluded that nothing is being done about the "trolling," you're going to keep acting with the same tone as them. Given that attitude, I couldn't really come to any other conclusion.

Teaming up specifically to provoke others is definitely punishable and falls under trolling. And it's not true that nothing is being done. Posts get deleted constantly, people get warnings, and all sorts of stuff happens. Of course, all of that happens behind the scenes, so it's not fair to say nothing is happening when Television, and especially the Soap Factory, are moderated every single day by multiple mods.

If you want proof, just look at the spoilers thread. The difference is night and day. The atmosphere in the spoilers section is great, and the comments are actually constructive. Not a single one of them is posting on the main thread anymore. And it's easy enough to see they used to post there.

The spoilers section is part of Television, which is also moderated by the same people who handle the Soap Factory.

Do you guys honestly think you're infallible or something? I mean, seriously, does anyone actually believe they've got it all figured out without ever being wrong once? It’s kind of wild if you think about it, I guess.

I honestly can't recall a single thread where some moderator actually said something like that. I mean, look, everyone gets it wrong sometimes—it’s just part of being human, I guess. Especially when you're dealing with a massive online community like this one, where there are thousands of people active at any given time, mistakes are pretty much inevitable. Everyone trips up eventually.

If someone is out there doing that on purpose, day in and day out, I mean, obviously that’s a crime, and they’re probably gonna end up paying the price for it eventually.
Look, what you’re talking about happens all the time, honestly, it's pretty common and can definitely go down. If you look at this forum, there are threads for basically every single soap factory series that stays on air, and obviously, the moderators can't possibly sit around watching every single episode of everything... I mean, they just can't keep up with every single show if they want to actually moderate anything effectively, so I guess that's why these kinds of situations pop up. But, since that whole mess happened with your ban—that was clearly an error on our end—we're going to be paying way more attention to the actual reports from now on and we'll make sure to check things out as deeply as we possibly can to see how far we can go with the investigation.

I mean, obviously, it’s not exactly easy when none of the moderators actually bother to watch the shows being discussed, so you end up with people posting spoilers left and right without anyone stepping in to stop them, I guess.

I mean, if someone actually goes looking for it, they can always find some weirdly worded sentence or a tiny little slip-up to twist out of context, you know? It’s like, if you really want to be a jerk, you can just take whatever someone wrote—even if it's totally fine—and claim it's somehow inappropriate, whether you're calling it harassment, an insult, spamming, or just straight-up trolling. I guess people just love finding ways to report others for stuff that isn't even happening.
I mean, honestly, this kind of behavior is exactly why people who actually want to have a real discussion—you know, the ones who don't just parrot whatever the majority is shouting about—end up avoiding these threads altogether. It’s like, if you don't want to get dogpiled just for having a different take, you might as well just stay quiet, I guess. Maybe that's just how it goes now, but it definitely kills any chance of a decent conversation.
Look, I feel like it’s totally fine to have an opinion on whether what you saw was good or bad, but there's a massive difference between having a take and just straight-up lying about reality. It’s one thing to debate the quality of a show, but it’s another thing entirely to deny what actually happened on screen, or worse, to be straight-up abusive toward people—like victims of violence or force rape—just to make a point. You can argue about the ethics or the direction of a scene all you want, but you don't get to just invent a whole different version of what was broadcast on FOX. You can't just twist the facts to fit your narrative when the footage is right there in front of everyone.
I mean, look, if someone takes a nasty spill, I might find it funny, or maybe it’ll make me feel bad, or honestly, I might just not care at all... but all of that falls under the umbrella of having a personal opinion or just reacting to what you saw. But saying that someone didn't actually fall? That isn't an opinion anymore. That’s either you straight-up missed what happened or you’re just being a total troll to provoke people.

Look, you can see for yourself that this whole thing is just incredibly tense, I guess. It's a really heavy subject to dive into, honestly.
The hardest part about hanging out on these forums, I guess, is trying to figure out if someone is actually being serious or if they’re just straight-up trolling. Sometimes I’ll find myself reading the same post two or three times over, just staring at the screen, and even after all that, I still can't decide if the author is genuinely making a point or if they're just trying to start a fight and provoke everyone for the hell of it. It's tough, man.
That’s exactly why the report feature exists, you know? It’s there so you guys can step in and help us out when things get out of hand.

So, look, if I’m acting as a moderator and I stumble upon some post that feels like it's just pure trolling or some kind of intentional provocation—you know, those posts that just feel off—I don't just jump the gun, I guess. I usually go ahead and check my inbox first to see if anyone actually filed an official report. I mean, a second head is probably smarter than one, right? Plus, if someone out there actually felt insulted by what was written, then yeah, maybe there really is something seriously wrong with the post.

Look, obviously, people can totally weaponize reports just to mess with someone or make their life miserable, which is why I guess every single moderator—myself included—takes the time to actually sit there and read through a post a couple of times first, you know? We have to double-check everything to see if the person is actually breaking the rules or if they're just being petty, because otherwise, the whole system just becomes a way for people to target others for no reason.

Keith Diaz5 said:The subforum says messages, complaints, and comments so I figured I might be allowed to comment on this thread and the mods over at the soap factory without being punished.

See, that’s the issue we face as admins. I’ve gone back through this thread several times and I’m still struggling to pin down the actual problem. From what I can gather, here’s the gist:
- there are cliques forming over at the soap factory
- moderators are protecting these supposed cliques by only deleting certain posts
- people are complaining about spoilers ruining the series
- there’s talk about force rape (hopefully just in the show) and how posts endorsing it haven't been removed
- some users stopped posting in one thread only to pop up in another...

Here’s my take: whether those cliques actually exist at the soap factory is really just a matter of perspective. To the moderators there, every single user is treated exactly the same. They don't recognize any cliques, nor do they side with any group—real or imagined.

As for everything else, I’m going to need some concrete examples, because right now, I have no idea what we're actually being asked to do.

Gerald Bailey88 said:tsk, tsk,...not reading again.

As for everything else, I’m going to need some concrete examples, because right now, I have no idea what we're actually being asked to do.

There are literal cliques running the Force thread—they’ve openly coordinated right there in public, bragging about how great their PR is (we all know who’s pulling those strings) and praising the lawyer. You can see them listed in the signatures and under the avatars... They even go as far as warning each other about private messages and coordinating their shifts. All happening right on the main board...
Don't ask me to go digging up those links for you. What were your moderators even doing while all that was being written? Let them find it—they're right there...
Of course the mods are protecting this group—they haven't sanctioned anyone yet...
If there were any cases, they were rare—but honestly, we got flooded with reports about people spoiling things without actually watching... just constant complaints...
It’s not even that the posts got deleted—maybe they were—but rather that nobody is actually punishing this kind of writing...
Personally, I stopped posting on the Sila threads because of how the moderators act... just can't deal with it.
The other girls who used to hang out in the Force thread have all bailed—now they just post in the spoiler section. (Not saying we’re all leaving for the same reason). They don't feel welcome here anymore, and honestly, I blame the mods...

Isn't it weird how only the group members and their supporters are left on this thread—aside from the exceptions, Gerald Hill2 and Keith Diaz5...

Look, I might be wrong. I might be misinterpreting things—my views don't have to be everyone's cup of tea... But the rudeness, the arrogance, that whole attitude? It’s an insult, and I won't stand for it—especially not from people representing this forum. I don't want to be unfair to moderators who actually deserve respect, so this strictly applies to ambermason16 and, maybe, just a little less to Bheu. The way they treat people here is way below any standard of decent communication. They shouldn't be acting so obnoxious and dismissive when people are just trying to post a complaint, a suggestion, or a simple feedback thread...

You guys need to actually pay attention to this thread—start punishing the group members just as hard as anyone who disagrees with them, because right now you aren't... Worst part is they’re straight up making stuff up—writing about things that never even happened in the series and twisting everything...
How should we call this? A provocation, or just plain lying to other users?
The second I mentioned that it’s basically the same thing as spoilers, I got banned.

Isn't it weird how the opinions on the Force thread are totally different from what's being spoiled? Just compare the comments for the same episodes... Look at how many people with different views you've kicked out or driven away. You're the reason for such a massive divide.
We're asking you to stop users from ganging up to provoke others and mess with everyone trying to participate in the thread.
That's it.

Comparing rape to spoilers. Terrifying...

I don't usually weigh in on threads like this—not that I have anything specific to complain about.
So I got banned once; big deal. My posts get reported constantly, too—so what?
It’s up to the mods to decide if I’m actually breaking any rules here.
I’m not about to start a drama over it. Personally, I never click that little report triangle, nor will I start now—that’s just not my style, which the mods can easily verify.🙂

It’s pretty easy to see how the show "Force" lost its audience—specifically when the women started migrating away from the thread right after one particular user made her first post there.☕ Most of them moved over to the "Mercy" thread.
The "Force" topic—at least based on my understanding of the rules for this subforum, the "soap factory" section—is meant for discussing the show and its plot.
Sure, people speculate about "what if" scenarios sometimes, but isn't that just part of watching a drama? It’s natural to wonder.🤷 There was plenty of that back-and-forth from almost everyone on the board...
Everyone picks their side. Some chose the character in "Force," some chose Boran, and others—under the guise of "I'm for both"—write long rants just to tear one character down.
At the end of the day, he’s a fictional character. Writing something negative about him doesn't carry the same weight as attacking actual women—real people made of flesh and blood. Yet, you see posts claiming we’re all just mindless followers who only support the lead because he’s well-endowed, telling us to look in a mirror and get a grip.
Should I mention that nobody bothered to start a thread defending the users? Of course not. We aren't fictional characters; anyone can insult us whenever they feel like it, but apparently, the mods feel the need to step in immediately when a fictional character gets criticized.
Organized groups?
Give me a break. That claim is completely baseless. Everyone knows what an organized group is and what they're actually for.
No one "organized" anything; it was just some banter between a few of us who happen to be lawyers by trade. Nothing more.☕
As for my signature—I keep seeing myself being labeled as the leader of some "organized group" in every single complaint thread. 🤣 Honestly, as if I were don Vito Corleone 🤔... I can write whatever I want in my signature; if it violated the site rules, the mods would have handled it.
Regarding PMs, yes, we use private messages, and of course, we can chat there.
We coordinate our shifts 🤷—but how is anyone supposed to know that if we’re doing it through private messages?
And no, we aren't coordinating anything. I refuse to be part of something like that. I once made a joke and wrote, "I'm on duty on this thread today," and I can't believe how badly that was misinterpreted. I just meant I was the only one online.
For God's sake, does anyone actually think we hate a fictional character?
Since I see it’s bothering you, Darling, I’ll take my signature down... But I’m telling you, there are no clans or organizations here. It's absurd; there's no need for it. My opinion isn't a manifesto for a group or a clique; it's just mine. Sure, you'll find people who agree, but that doesn't mean they belong to some secret society.
Opinions change—unless that’s against the rules now?
I've changed mine. Watching the show and discussing it here has actually shifted my perspective. That’s allowed, isn't it? That’s just life. People evolve.

Now I find myself at odds with actress Cansu Dere—and I say that with some irony, considering I used to be her biggest advocate. I spent countless hours translating her interviews and news stories just to satisfy fans like SNOB and dolcevite—which, frankly, wasn't my job, but I did it to be helpful. I even wrote posts praising her incredible range—something anyone can easily verify if they care to look.

When the discussions regarding sexual assault surfaced in the "Oriental Passions" thread, things got ugly. Not a single one of those self-proclaimed truth-seekers actually asked the mods to step in. It was just a collective grievance session over at ambermason16 😁 where everyone complained about everything under the sun. I personally asked that we stop discussing such sensitive topics in that manner, but it fell on deaf ears, so I stopped trying. I won't appeal to people's consciences anymore—I can't control how others think, anyway. (That’s also quite easy to check ☕ )
Back then, I posted this:

Comments like "she had to give in because he has the right to rape her since they're married" (to paraphrase) are the absolute peak of disgusting behavior—it's an assault on a woman's dignity and honor.
As a woman, I found those statements deeply insulting—and I'm sure many other women here felt the same way.

Like I said, nothing changed, so I gave up. You really can't lump me in with the crowd that thinks sexual violence is somehow acceptable.

What I want to know is why people take criticism of a fictional character so incredibly personally.
Why is there this desperate need to defend a character?
Is it perhaps a defense of our own personal values?
We all have our views, but does having them give us the right to police one another?
Can this "defense" go so far that it results in attacking a living human being?
Does anyone consider the emotions of those of us here—we aren't just usernames, we're flesh and blood.
M@3X and I hold completely opposite views, yet I still enjoy reading her posts. Despite our disagreements, I believe we maintain high-quality discussions.
On what basis are people claiming the mods are conspiring against someone or making backroom deals? Where is this coming from?
Look, I've dealt with my fair share of nonsense from the moderation team, so what... I took a deserved ban once.
I could never see myself joining the moderation team. I think they do the best they can with what they have.
I have never filed a complaint against the mods, nor will I ever.

I am not part of any "clique"... I reject that label. I am not in league with the moderators... I reject those insinuations. I am just an ordinary user who follows the rules of this forum.

Jeremy Reyes5, I mean it—thank you. Anyone who actually knows anything about how this soap factory PDF works knows that he and I have had some serious clashes in the past. But unlike the person who started this whole circus, we actually know how to distinguish between the relationship between forum users and the mods, versus the personal bond between ambermason16 and Jeremy Reyes5.

You two have completely lost the plot. It’s not just that you’re shamelessly spamming posts where you basically just talk to yourselves—leaving everyone else totally confused—but you’re also back at it again with the constant lying and slander.

I am calling out every single person on this forum who ever reached out to me for advice or help and was left hanging. I want to know exactly who got shut down by one of my favorites. Who did I snap at without any reason? Who did I refuse to listen to when I actually messed up and needed to make things right? Or better yet, who have I just picked on for no damn reason at all? I’m asking you now: step up. Come forward publicly so we can lay everything out on the table and see exactly what kind of nonsense is going on.

I am honestly fed up. I’m sick of these grown women who can't tell the difference between real life and some trashy daytime soap opera, and then they think they have the right to talk down to me whenever they feel like it.

You and your buddy slapped me with a 500-point penalty and tossed me into a permanent ban just because I took the liberty of telling you exactly where you belong. You used your toxic way of speaking to try and block my return to this forum. Honestly, if your godparent were still running things as an admin, I’d probably just be sitting here reading the threads right now.
You're incredibly arrogant—it's pretty obvious. You brag about threads where you just tear other users down and make fun of them. I know every single one of your posts, and frankly, I’m depriving myself of the joy of joining many discussions because of you. I know you’re just waiting for me to slip up so you can ship me off to another ban.

You clearly have influence here—you're probably part of the editorial staff or something—but you harass members whenever you feel like you have the upper hand, almost like a scavenger looking for a weakness. As for those sycophants hanging around here, flattering you and sucking up to you? They're nothing but "sycophants." The moment I recognize your tone, I log off—not because I'm afraid of you, but because your sheer pretentiousness and arrogance are honestly nauseating.

🤣 thanks for this post. You just did me a bigger favor than if you’d declared me the greatest moderator in history.

And just so we have this on the record: I have zero clue who you actually are, other than being that person giggling in every thread about how you're the luckiest little Smurf alive because you got unbanned thirty minutes ago and swore eternal loyalty to the admins. So, you can relax—I couldn't care less about "your every move." It's about as exciting to me as watching a local high school wrestling match.

It’s funny how you people act so important, thinking you have the right to insult and spit on forum users, mods, and admins. You're terrified of the staff, yet here you are playing the lady. But the second someone gives you the feedback you actually deserve, you're absolutely mortified. Apparently, you think we should all be bowing to the floor, treating every bit of your slanderous nonsense with humble, quiet respect.

Oh, and by the way, force doesn't exist... the guy is stuck at the soap factory, which is closing down in a few days anyway. Bummer.
