Sorry, but Henry Campbell5 has actually contributed plenty to the PDF movie. If he had spent even half as much time messing with regular users as he does picking fights with the mods, he probably would have been banned within a year. Seriously, man, it’s ridiculous.

Strange... still haven't seen the movie. Even after all that mountain of evidence, the indictment hasn't even dropped yet. And honestly? It's still just informal. No warning, no DM following up, zero notification or explanation... weirdly enough, I still haven't seen the movie.

In my view, his movie impressions fall right into the category of amateurish commentary on the subject. I won't speculate on why he's being penalized since I don't know the specifics, but these kinds of accusations prompt a bit of a legal defense from me. Look, I’ve read quite a bit of his posts over in the movie impressions section—many of them even when he was posting regardless of whether I’d actually seen the movie or not (which says something, I suppose)—and speaking as a relatively seasoned reader, I’d say the moderation team shouldn't feel embarrassed by his writing style. His posts belong exactly where they are on that sub-forum, and they've been validated by your own team for a long time now. Based on how you put it—saying there is "no real value added"—if we were using standard forum terminology, that would actually categorize you as spam—which seems a bit contradictory, given your role as a moderator who has been consistently approving those very same posts. In terms of actual prose, really it qualifies as entertaining, targeted, and unpretentious reading. It even has a certain stylistic flair that some other users on the forum seem to be lacking.

And honestly, I highly doubt the consensus regarding his contribution to the sub-forum is unanimous among all of you who handle moderation.

I think Henry Campbell5 is a genuinely great, fun guy. 🙂 I don’t think there’s a single thread where he hasn’t given me at least a little chuckle, especially when he drops a totally random, hilarious joke right in the middle of a long post. He really knows how to write quality commentary, but since he avoids being overly serious, he always leaves room for a bit of humor. It never feels forced or obnoxious; he’s just a naturally likable person.

I don’t really have the time or the energy to follow the whole history of drama between users and the moderators, but if Henry Campbell5 needs any support from my end, he has it.

Sides? Man, I'm not taking any damn sides. I'm just laying out my perspective and trying to stay as objective as possible. I'm not rooting for anyone. Honestly, that whole client-based, clique-heavy approach some people are pushing right now is exactly what caused this mess on Reddit in the first place.
I've always kept my distance from the mods, and I'm keeping it that way. I don't want to play nice with the other users either, because if life has taught me anything, it's that you gotta avoid that too—especially on "public" platforms like this.
In a way, Murmillo and Bloomer became victims of that exact mindset; they basically boxed themselves in. You can't go around picking fights with the entire moderation team just to be stubborn, man. I'm still saying it: when you're dealing with sensitive topics, you have to be strict.
