What do I need to charge my laptop while out on the road? Is it actually possible to use the lighter socket? My rig runs on 24V. I'm looking for a specific device—what’s the name for it, and where should I even start looking?

Alternatively, you could just grab a dedicated power inverter. You hook it up directly somewhere, and then you're free to power basically any standard US household device.
