Complaint against Moderator Zoran Ostric

So, I just got flagged—reason given: "You're posting too much, take a break."

I’m honestly not sure what the specific rules for this board even are... if you look back at my activity in this thread, I posted once on Oct 9, then again on the 12th, 13th, and 16th. That's it.

Meanwhile, if you check out another thread, you can see lonetrucker4 dropped five posts on Oct 19, then nine on the 20th, and eight more on the 21st here:

I guess I'm just wondering if the "take a break" rule applies to everyone—like, how many strikes or points is lonetrucker4 actually getting? Because I've been flagged for four posts spread over seven days, while he's put up twenty-two posts in just three days without any issues.

Why start a whole new thread just to whine about a 5-point penalty? You just want my name in the title, don't you? 🤦

In that "Chinese army" thread, you guys were all over the place—just endless bickering, trolling, and low blows. I handed out those warnings to three of you just to get some breathing room.

My bad, wrong call. Should've been an off-topic violation, which is 10 points—double the sting. But whatever, let's just leave it.

How many points do you lose for not using the multi-quote feature and just spamming posts?

I’m holding out hope that Marko Perkkonen Tupson will perform that anthem about our fallen American heroes—the ones who were essentially wiped out by some mediocre, five-point bureaucratic failure from the old regime...🤣

I have no idea what the actual rules for this forum or sub-forum are... looking back through my history in this thread, I’ve only put in four posts: one on Oct 9, one on Oct 12, one on Oct 13, and one on Oct 16.

Just another bigot—really just carrying on that old-school tradition of trying to erase someone's identity. That’s the only reason I keep getting banned from the history forums here.

The thing is, my warnings and points haven't been cleared, and from what I can see, the moderator hasn't been penalized either. Plus, looking at some of the posts in this thread, it seems like trolling, spam, and insults don't really get sanctioned around here.

Plus, after I sent him a DM asking:

"Excuse me, is there some kind of misunderstanding here?"

The moderator just replied:

"No."

Meanwhile, that same moderator is doing the exact stuff he hands out strikes for. But I guess the rules he enforces don't really apply to him.

To put it in perspective, let's try an analogy for when a moderator gives someone a strike for something they didn't do—using domestic violence as the scale for severity.

5 points—the wife looks at her husband the wrong way, gets hit with a frying pan.

50 points—the wife didn't put enough soup in his bowl, husband breaks her arm.

500 points—the wife was grabbing coffee with friends and didn't reply to a text instantly, husband breaks both her legs.

Does the wife deserve those points, whether it's 5, 50, or 500?

coppersailor28 Look, let’s be clear ... Markkonen is absolutely right ... there are rights, and there are obligations. The fact that certain individuals lack the capacity to grasp even the most basic concepts is a significant issue... specifically, an issue of correctness.

It boils down to one thing: a simple lack of respect.
