Issues with wireless mouse and keyboard

So, my keyboard keeps lagging out on me big time, especially when I'm gaming. Like, it works fine for basic stuff, but once I jump into a match, it’s an absolute disaster. I already tried swapping USB ports to see if that would fix anything, but no luck.

Anyway, this is the model I'm using:

Could it be the batteries?

I flip the switch on and off, and the battery indicator just stays solid green.

How far should a keyboard be from the USB receiver plugged into the PC? Are there any specific metal objects that might interfere with the signal?
Try wrapping the USB receiver in aluminum foil to boost the signal strength. If that fails to solve the issue, just buy a USB extension cable and place the receiver right next to the keyboard.

My PC was sitting right under the desk. And get this—even with a USB extender, it kept cutting out. It was literally right next to my mouse and keyboard on the desk, too.

Have you tried searching online to see if anyone else is dealing with these exact issues? You should head straight back to the retailer where you bought that keyboard and lay out the situation. If it's still under warranty, demand a replacement immediately.

So, I ended up plugging the USB drive into a different port and—surprise, surprise—it’s working perfectly now. Thanks for the hand!

Hey. I’m looking to pick up a wireless keyboard and mouse combo.
The distance from my PC tower to where I'll actually be using them is about 15 feet, but there's a wall in the way...
Is this going to work?
Basically, the computer will be hooked up to a TV in another room for browsing, while the actual tower stays tucked away in the other room...
