Morbius (2020)

I usually dig this kind of stuff—I really do—but honestly, that trailer didn't exactly do much to make me want to go see the movie.

One of my earliest childhood memories is how much his toy actually creeped me out.

I used to play him as the villain against my Spider-Man.

His head would even spin, switching from a human face to a vampire one.

Could someone let me know how much of a horror movie this actually is? And does it have many jump scares?

I’m honestly pretty terrified of watching horror films, but I'm really curious about 😳
Even Burton's Sleepy Hollow was pushing my limits a bit.

Honestly, nobody's gonna remember. 😂

I had two different Spider-Man figures (the classic one and the dark version) plus a few villains. I was always big on Spider-Man, so whenever my parents or relatives picked up stuff for me, they probably just grabbed a couple of bad guys from the same shelf. 🤷

This is hands down the worst movie ever made. I felt physically sick after sitting through that absolute garbage. I have no idea how Jared Leto even agreed to act in this trash. 🤦

Yeah. He's been picking some seriously trash projects lately. But this one is just next-level stupid. You'd have to try really hard to make a movie worse than this. And apparently, he actually went on a hunger strike for this role?!🤦

I noticed nobody's talking about the absolute legend and this year's massive smash hit, Morbius.
Morbius is everything; Morbius is life. The entire theater (basically me and some other guy who happened to be there) was on the edge of our seats the whole time, just waiting for the sheer brilliance to hit.

When that "It's morbin time" scene finally rolled around, we actually stood up and started cheering because the hype was just too much to handle.
After the credits rolled, I sat there re-evaluating my entire life path and decided I want to legally change my name to Michael Morbius—though I’ll probably drop the "Dr." part since I haven't finished med school yet, and I wouldn't want anyone getting the wrong idea.

Anyway, what's the verdict? What do you guys think of the movie?

I haven't actually sat down to watch the movie yet, but I can already tell you're one of those people who doesn't think the film itself is anything particularly special, yet somehow you live and breathe every single meme that comes out of it.

Oh, man. I actually sat through it, though. Honestly? It’s so bad that it’s actually good. It doesn't quite hit that legendary "so terrible it's a masterpiece" level of *The Room*, but still, it’s definitely going to be a cult classic that people won't stop talking about anytime soon.

I suppose I was feeling a bit masochistic the other day, so I decided to sit through this. 😁.

I suppose it isn't exactly a masterpiece, though perhaps it isn't quite as catastrophic as the critics make it out to be; it’s probably tolerable enough to sit through if you have the patience, I guess. It seems to land somewhere around the same level as Venom, given they share the same corner of the Marvel Universe.

Watched it last night. I usually can't stand LET, but I’m a huge fan of Matt Smith. Good grief, what a disaster of a movie... easily the second worst thing I've sat through all year.
