Honestly, I’ll be the first to admit he isn't exactly my favorite—I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm a huge fan—but if I really have to choose, I'd still take him over Fetla any day of the week. 🙂

That’s exactly why everyone at Red Bull Racing looked so incredibly stressed out.🙂

No true supporter of Fernando Alonso or Ferrari should be pretending to feel any sympathy for Lewis Hamilton right now. Let’s be honest—we are all absolutely thrilled with how this played out, even if we have to admit that Hamilton performed with that same signature brilliance he's displayed over the last few races. He put together a fantastic qualifying lap and maintained an incredible pace throughout the race; clearly, Lewis Hamilton is in peak form, and I suspect Fernando Alonso just had a bit of luck on his side today. That being said, nothing is truly decided yet, especially considering the momentum behind McLaren and Hamilton, contrasted against the sluggishness of that Ferrari car.

Is there actually any defense left for Michael Schumacher now?

It’s pretty obvious they didn't exactly perform a masterclass in repairs after yesterday's collision :zbunj:

I don't think Schumacher is to blame here. It looks like this driver almost came to a complete standstill mid-corner, and by then, Schumacher just didn't have enough room left to brake properly.

but he really does have an incredible amount of luck on his side. His only real setback this season was when
Romain Grosjean took him out, though Lewis Hamilton suffered the exact same fate then,
and in all the other races, Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel faced much tougher struggles.
As if it wasn't enough that Hamilton had to retire today, now Pastor Maldonado is out too, which saved him from having to fight for 3rd place.
There's no need to list all the mishaps Vettel and Hamilton have dealt with this season; anyone following the sport knows.
You only need to look back at Valencia when Alonso jumped from 5th to 1st.
Vettel was leading until his car pulled aside, Grosjean's car failed, and then Maldonado
knocked both himself and Hamilton out just a few laps before the end. If that race had finished "normally,"
Vettel would be ahead of Alonso in the standings right now. And let's not even mention
last race, where Vettel lost about 10 crucial points due to a mechanical failure.
Kudos to Fernando, but luck can't follow him forever through the rest of the season,
so the title fight will likely stay wide open until the final race...
He certainly caught a break at Monza and Spa as well, where despite having the fastest car and making zero mistakes himself, he still only walked away with 15 points. ☕

The issue was actually with the gearbox, not the rear suspension.

Is it just me, or are we seeing way more DNFs from the top five teams this year compared to last season?

Man, what the hell was he thinking, just flooring it like crazy 😕
or did this guy just tap the brakes a little bit 🤷

That's pure intuition, which is exactly why Fernando Alonso is the best. But that doesn't change the fact that
he’s had the most luck this season, and that’s how he built up such a massive points lead.

I have to say, this looks like a pretty messy situation for the leaders... they didn't pit, and now Mark Webber has gone in for a fresh set of soft tires.
Are they really going to try and limp to the finish on those old mediums?
Vettel, Butt, Ala.
