This has actually been one of the better championships I've followed. There was a solid amount of technical stuff in the program, including some live sessions, which hasn't really happened before.

And the decathlon... look, props to them, honestly. Itβs a brutal grind and I've got a massive amount of respect for anyone who can even step onto that field. But let's be realβwhen you look at how their scores stack up against the absolute monsters winning gold in specific individual events? It just doesn't have that same electric, "holy crap" factor. Itβs hard to get hyped when the numbers just aren't hitting that elite level.
