What kind of vision do you all have for our chat rooms? If you’re interested, please make sure to weigh in on the poll, and if you have any other ideas brewing, feel free to share them here.

If we eventually move things into the archives, my thought is to set up a dedicated PDF for our music discussions. Once a thread closes, we could compile everything there so it stays accessible; I'd make sure to pin the latest link in the very first post of every new thread so nobody has to go hunting for it.
And just to be clear, I'm certainly not trying to push anyone toward a specific choice 🤣

The voting will stay open for a few hours. I don't want to be overly rigid with a deadline, but let's aim for something reasonable—perhaps by 6:00 or 7:00 PM, maybe even 8:00 PM at the latest.

It feels like a genuine waste to just toss all these chat logs into the trash. We really ought to establish a dedicated archive for our conversations, something we could actually revisit later if the mood strikes us. #memories

I agree, that seems like a solid way to go; having everything accessible without cluttering up the actual PDF is definitely the right move. 👍

I might even try to get those chat threads cleared out from the junk folder too, though I’m still not entirely sure how the image storage or the Google Ads data is sitting within the archive—we'll just have to see how that plays out.

archive.

from: where is the iconic Lady Gaga vol. 2 thread?? It launched right alongside the AP era. I want to see those delusional quotes and meltdown posts.

I’ve actually had that sitting on my desk for a bit while I clear through some old files 😁

(It’s been hanging around for quite a while now, so I really ought to get back to it if we want to finally wrap this up and move the discussion over to the official documentation)

Archives. Even if most of it is just total gibberish at this point, there’s still something kind of nice about digging through the old stuff and reminiscing about 🙂

I don't really have any plans to sit down and read through them or anything, but wouldn't it be great to just have them all in one spot?

Just toss it in the trash... because once the search function actually starts working on this forum again, you know some of those high-maintenance socialites are going to start digging through old threads every single day, and then we’ll really have a mess on our hands.

I didn't originally write "I don't participate in the polls on this PDF"—I actually went back and edited it to just say "archive."👍

Next point: I wasn't "officially" involved—not by a long shot. I didn't actually submit a single response to that survey above—I just shared my take with a quick, simple post: "archived." The moderators can check the edit history to see exactly what the post looked like before I changed it—and while we're at it, is there any way to see who responded how?

I've come to realize this is actually a much weightier issue than the usual trivial debates that pop up around here—so I decided to give it a proper, serious answer.

🙂

Gary Patel said:Before I touched it up, the post actually said, "I'm not voting in this poll," but then I went in and changed it to just "archive."👍

So, here's the deal: officially, I didn't participate. Like, at all. I didn't check off a single box in that poll above. All I did was drop a quick comment saying "archive" to show where I stood. If the mods want to double-check, they can see what the post looked like before the edit—and hey, they can probably see who voted for what, right?

At the end of the day, I figured this was a bit more weighty than those random little parties people throw in the chat, so I decided to give a real answer.

🙂

🙏🙏🙏

Man, you can try to fight it, but it's just not gonna happen. Nowhere to be found. 🤣🤣
