It is the fifth installment of the live-action Transformers film series and a direct sequel to 2014. Michael Bay is back behind the camera, and we’ll see Mark Wahlberg and Stanley Tucci reprising their roles in Age of Extinction, plus Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, and John Turturro from the first three films. Apparently, this will be the fifth and final Transformers film to be directed by Bay

I’m calling on every single person out there to please, for the love of God, boycott this absolute pile of garbage.

If you aren't watching stuff like this, it might as well not exist. 🙄

Hell no! Blockbusters are nothing more than glorified spreadsheets. Big studios just churn out whatever is trending right now, and they define "popular" solely by how many millions they pull in at the box office.
It’s not like there aren't any great indie flicks out there, but honestly, it wouldn't hurt if we actually got a decent high-budget movie once in a while.

The funniest part for me is when that kid, who looks like he’s maybe 12, yells "I wanna fight them" at around the 12-minute mark in the trailer.🤣

And now they've actually gone and decided to make Optimus Prime the villain...

Does this absolute dud of a movie even deserve its own discussion thread? I honestly can't wrap my head around why they're still paying Wahlberg to act like an idiot in these things. It’s clearly just a massive payday for him...

Look, with Transformers, you either totally love them or you absolutely hate them.
Personally? I think the Transformers movies are such a blast, and honestly, I can't wait for the next one to drop.
There’s just nothing better than watching metal flying everywhere and bolts popping off in every direction.

One, two, three... man, this is turning into a total joke already. And don't even get me started on the last one, where they basically transformed into tiny little gnats or something 🤣🤣absolutely awful

Watched it last night... classic Michael Bay... lots of explosions and stuff getting wrecked... I guess it was decent, maybe better than the first part of this new trilogy...

Way too long. Honestly, they could have easily trimmed thirty minutes off this thing without losing anything substantial. At its core, the movie just boils down to a massive display of flashy special effects. My biggest gripe, though, is how they botched the whole legacy aspect involving the Witwicky family; they tried to force a connection to a past storyline that felt completely unearned. And let’s be real—Shia LaBeouf is quite possibly the most inept actor ever to grace the big screen. Now that he’s gone, it feels like they were desperately scrambling to manufacture some kind of link to him just so the audience wouldn't forget the previous installments. They had all that narrative potential, and they absolutely wasted it.

I found this comedy pretty hilarious. Plot-wise, it’s the same old story—but hey, what else are you expecting from a movie about giant transforming robots? The humor really hit the mark for me, though. I was totally into Hopkins and his robot butler character! Plus, those musical cues were absolutely spot on. 🍿
