Yeah, thinking you can just cruise through a major city like that is pretty naive and totally unrealistic... so Taken stays at the very top of the list for me, even if this second one is a tiny bit weaker...

Great stuff. I didn't catch the first one... I don't usually tune into these shows, but I stumbled upon this one by accident. 10/10

Take a look at the first one. It’s better.

man, this sequel is just... I don't know, it's kind of a snooze compared to the first one, which was honestly freaking amazing.

Both of them are just disappointing. They feel shallow and simplistic, almost like they were designed for kidsβ€”and unfortunately, that includes Liam too.

I just finally caught this yesterday, and honestly? It’s a solid action flick and a really strong sequel. πŸ‘

The plot is straightforward and actually works. That high-speed chase featuring a Mercedes-Benz E-Class was just... πŸ™
Man, I absolutely live for car chases involving Mercedes, and this might be one of the best ones I've seen in a while. I'm especially stoked they went with an older model. I used to own an E-Class back in the day, and even a 190, so seeing them tearing up the asphalt in these action movies just hits different.

goldenscout14 said:I’d say the second installment falls a few notches short of the first, which really felt more like a gritty, dark action flick. Look, I get itβ€”it’s a movie, and it doesn't need to be a documentaryβ€”but there were moments where the lack of realism was so blatant it actually made my head spin. You hit all the usual marks, sure; you've got the bomb blasts tearing through New York City, but then you have these car chases where this girl somehow drives better than a seasoned stunt driver, despite having barely passed her driving testβ€”if she even passed it at all, honestly, I can't quite remember.

Actually, she totally bombed her first driving test because she didn't even care about passingβ€”she mentioned that to her dad during a chat in the car.

But hey, by the end of the movie, she proves she actually knows what she's doing when she passes with flying colors and gets that license.
Sure, she drives a little *too* well for a beginner, but let's be realβ€”this isn't some heavy, serious drama, it's an action movie! A little over-the-top driving is kind of the whole point, right?

They’ve always been especially impressive when you’re running a manual transmission, even on those smaller models...πŸ™„

The first part is spot on, the second one is a bit hit-or-miss, and the third part is just plain nonsense.

I’m with you on that.
