I mean, you really can't go too hard on Sebetic or Maric for those mistakes... I guess we just didn't have that Duleta energy today... our defense basically just fell apart over some total nonsense...

Babic lost the game after shooting 3/20 for the Cement Factory.
Actually, he just cruised straight into the semifinals, which means we're stuck with him—along with Chokeic and the rest of this crew that keeps tearing us apart—for another XY years.
Regardless, the mission was accomplished.

What absolute idiots... it’s almost unbelievable. But then again, I guess it isn't surprising given how American sports work in general. We go from total euphoria to a complete disaster in a heartbeat. We can lose anything we've already won, or somehow pull off a win when nobody expects it. But honestly, I think the biggest constant in any sport is just our inability to actually close out a chance.
Total idiots...

Is Alilovic in goal? Hell yeah, he is—let's go get that connection! 🙏

Actually, he just cruised straight into the semifinals, which means we're stuck with him for another decade or two... along with Cementer, Chokeic, and the rest of this crew that keeps dragging us down.
At least the objective was met, I suppose...

Comparing Alilovic to Omeyer... is he really planning on playing until he's fifty? 👋

So, this guy is actually putting Alilovic back in goal... Even Jesus wouldn't forgive this move!

It isn't even a matter of the Spaniards being better than us—they really aren't—it’s just that we were frankly subpar today. We were giving up way too many easy goals, our defense was completely non-existent, and the goalkeeping... well, let's just say it wasn't our night either.

It’s honestly pretty heartbreaking, especially since we could have cruised into the finals if we had just played with any sense of discipline.

Watching this game feels like sitting through a tennis match where one player just keeps the ball in play while their opponent misses every single shot.

Man, they're really taking hits now. I guess that -2 spread just didn't pan out for us 🤦

For us, hitting a semifinal feels like a total mental block. We just start popping off like popcorn.

Honestly, Alilovic, I’m just completely done with you and Duvnjak obsessing over millimeters and nanoseconds the second the game ends.

Just keep stuffing that bag into the goal; clearly, our workhorse is the only one actually putting in the effort here.

They're calling this our golden opportunity, yet we're clearly the weakest squad out of these four teams.

That might actually be the best way to put it. It’s kind of like Roger Federer versus Novak Djokovic. I mean, we aren't exactly on Federer's level, and they aren't quite at Djokovic's level either, but you get the vibe, I guess! 😁

Nicole Wright said:I’m honestly happy for the people who managed to build up this massive euphoria and start planning gold medal parties after just two days. It's always the same old story. 🤦

Exactly. We were celebrating a win against Poland like we’d already won the whole damn championship.
