We basically handed them the game because they went on an absolute 8-1 tear—one minute we’re sitting pretty at 13-10, and the next, we’re staring down a 14-18 deficit.
Honestly, the coach really should have pulled the goalie right then. If Stevanovic had just stepped up and saved even one or two of those shots—out of the 17 Alilović let slip through—we might have actually walked away with a win.
But hey, when you look at who’s running the show over at our sports federations—whether it’s handball, soccer, or basketball—it’s a miracle we’re even in a position to compete for trophies at all!

Man, Kolinda Grabar-Kitović really dropped the ball on Babić, I guess. Just my two cents, anyway.

Honestly, taking fourth place is totally fine by me. I wasn't even dreaming about making it to the semifinals, let alone getting this far. It’s just a bummer we lost to a Spanish team that didn't look all that impressive.

The game really fell apart during those two rough minutes where Marić struggled against that terrible defender—the guy who probably only scored two goals the entire tournament.

Now everyone is jumping on the bandwagon betting against Germany, but if you ask me, they could easily take down Spain.

Realistically, we went further than expected. We had a shot at something bigger—but those disastrous fifteen minutes in the first half killed us, plain and simple. We had opportunities in the second half too, but we were always just a hair too short.
