Why on earth was my post regarding Facebook Messenger deleted when it followed every single rule of this subforum and the entire site to a tee?

I’d appreciate an answer to this.

If this was some kind of mistake, I am asking the moderator to please restore my message because I genuinely need the help being offered here, and I truly respect the work you do.

I am truly grateful for the response, but I must insist that as a complete novice, I cannot tell the difference between an iOS device and a macOS device, so shouldn't you have had more than enough authority to simply move my post to the correct section yourselves?

So now I’m expected to go through the hassle of drafting an entirely new post once I finally track down the right thread, even though I already submitted my inquiry?

It seems it was left somewhere among the ruins of the past, right alongside the flawless uptime of our servers. It took me five minutes of fighting through error messages just to submit my first reply on this thread, so I shudder to think how much effort it would take to move a post from one sub-forum to another.
It’s not like you wrote the Declaration of Independence, so please, just re-post your question in the correct section.
