I’m calling it now: a 12-2 blowout.😁

Part 1
Part 2
The updated rulebook won't kick in until after Bahrain, or maybe even later.
Since some stuff got delayed and certain things under the new rules should have been handled before the first race.
Just to be crystal clear, these aren't official rules yet, so there's no misunderstanding.

Personally, I think they're pretty solid. They add some interesting elements regarding tactics, penalize players who aren't consistent with their offers or responses, and sort out issues involving banned users or those who miss sending offers in the first or second round.😳
Plus, they'll heavily penalize anyone who doesn't take the Super League seriously.😳

I also tweaked the filling order, because honestly, Max has a point—champions are champions, and they really should be ranked ahead of the finalists.

Anyway, I want to know what everyone else thinks, because this is a pretty big shift.
If anyone has a better idea or an objection to the rules, let me know. I definitely want to hear your thoughts before anything gets changed.🙂

I'm especially curious about your take on the filling order. It’s been a major sticking point for a long time, but to me, it looks perfectly fine.👍
7 champions and the Super League runner-up🙂

So, are these rules active yet...? 🤔

Disqualification in this and next season if someone fails to send three times 🤣... wait, what's the point of punishing them for next season if the racer is already disqualified in the current one? 🤣

Nope. Nobody’s even commented on them or suggested any tweaks to specific parts.
So yeah, I definitely don't want to roll them out before we have a serious discussion and a proper vote.😉

What do you think the point of next season's penalty is?🤷
It's basically to stop people from showing up just to sit there and do nothing, giving their opponents a massive advantage just because of how the schedule falls.🤷
Honestly, those 15-0 wins feel pretty stupid when the match didn't even happen. It's not like the winner did anything wrong, but it's still just plain unfair to everyone else.😳

And it’s not impossible for someone to get kicked out mid-season and still not finish last—or even jump right back into the Super League next year despite losing 3/5 spots due to penalties.🤷

Is that your only gripe, or are there more?
And what’s your take on the rule proposal itself?🙂

Look, here’s the deal: having three or four unpenalized calls spread out over twenty races isn't some massive, earth-shattering crime. It's just not. I really don't think it's fair to hit a driver with a brutal two-season ban—like, stripping them from this year and next—for something like that. Honestly? Disqualifying them from the current season is more than enough punishment for those kinds of mistakes.
Man, they're basically sabotaging the Super League before the next season even kicks off. Losing the top eight guys from the list like that? It’s a massive blow to the lineup.
Just because someone didn't have the bandwidth to drop any sweet posts during this current season doesn't mean they're going to stay quiet next year. Honestly, we can't really know what's coming.
If someone actually earned their spot in the Super League, you've gotta let them race. It’s only fair.
With a rule like this, we could end up losing a heavy hitter. Take Pat, for example. He hasn't really been active in the circuit this season, even though he was a total regular in previous years and might even make a comeback next season.
It’s honestly pretty realistic to expect that if a driver gets disqualified four times in one season for failing to meet requirements, they’re going to end up dead last or second to last. That’s just how it works. They’ll get that handicap for next year, not just because of the DQ itself or missing the rest of the races, but because of all those prior failures too. But hey, if there happens to be an exception—if some driver is just so insanely good that they manage to stay in the blue zone despite all those disqualifications and missed races—then I am 100% down to see them back in the Super League next season. Honestly, someone like that would be a massive upgrade for the league compared to whatever reserve driver just slides in because someone else got kicked out.

As for everything else, I’m generally not really a fan of those wildcards in any kind of competition, but hey, I guess you can play along with them if you have to. Just keep in mind that it’ll probably end up thinning out the field and leaving us with fewer racers in the mix.
The order they’re filling these slots isn't exactly perfect, but honestly? It’s a massive step up from where we are right now. At least this way, it doesn't feel like they're tearing the whole foundation of the Super League apart.

So, my general take? I think this idea definitely belongs in the rulebook. But honestly, I really don't think you need to go as far as disqualifying racers from next season over it. To me, that feels like a pretty massive flaw in your proposal.

I honestly think Patagonia pulled it off, just like I called it from the jump, and man, this was easily the toughest test we've seen yet.

There's logic in what you're saying. If everyone agrees the penalty is too extreme, we can easily tweak it so it only applies to the current season.🙂

Like I said, this is just a proposal for discussion, not the final rulebook.😉
If you've got more ideas, lay them on me.

And yeah, I agree on this part—that penalty is definitely overkill.

Everyone back home is rooting for you👋
Damn, if you don't pull off a win, man, we might just have to pack up and leave before you catch up to us by the end of the season🙂
You've already got almost double my points...
I'm pissed. Seriously pissed.😬
