Trust me, if it comes to that, I'll handle it.☕
What am I supposed to be explaining here?🤷 The decision maker makes a call. Two modes are tied for that decision, and even if I personally hate it, by the rules, it’s a legitimate decision because of the majority vote.
Personally, I don't see anything in the rulebook regarding those statements about withdrawals, so I don't see any real reason—let alone any basis—to complain about it.
It's funny how you felt such a massive urge to attack me and trash my work in the Super League, but now that darkmarlin16—the guy you actually suggested for moderator—is in the exact same spot, his decisions are perfectly fine by you, even though they completely ignore the rules...
🙄 And the fact that this whole thing produces zero results? Totally fine with you too, apparently...
Honestly, I don't see a single reason to keep this Super League going at all.
Because the Round 3 matchups literally don't exist. Nobody has a clue who's in Round 3, who's still an active participant, who has how many points, who's been disqualified, who's playing whom next, etc. It's a mess.
If all the results and disqualification rulings aren't posted before the next race, I don't see what else can be done besides closing this thread and killing the Super League for the season.
I really wish someone on this thread would actually give me a straight answer to my question. What happens if it turns out asdfg5 is just a clone of one of the registered candidates? Saying "we'll take action" doesn't tell me anything. Seriously, what kind of action? Are you guys just going to give him a verbal warning so you don't lose your decision maker right in the middle of the season?
What would I even need to explain about that?🤷
Look, once the decision maker makes a call, that’s it. Even if two mods are backing the move and I’m sitting here totally against it, the ruling still stands. According to the rules, it's all about the majority vote, so the decision is officially legit.
Personally, I don't see anything wrong with those statements about withdrawing from races according to the rules, so I really don't see any major reason—let alone a solid basis—to be complaining about it.
Look, this isn't actually an explanation. You're just circling back to the same point: that the decision maker and the mods can basically do whatever they want, regardless of whether there’s any actual logic behind it. Just because the decision maker made a call and the mods gave it the thumbs up doesn't automatically make it legitimate.
So, here’s a totally ridiculous hypothetical for you: Imagine if Terry Carter2 just decided, on his own whim, to hand himself, TBF, and Sepa an extra 20 unearned points in the overall standings. He’d probably justify it by saying, "Hey, I'm the decision maker, so I can do whatever I want." Naturally, someone would lose their mind and call foul. Then the mods step in—Sepa and TBF show up and basically say they have zero problem with him handing out those 20 points, since nowhere in the rulebook does it explicitly forbid the decision maker from gifting unearned points to himself or anyone else (and honestly, it doesn't). In your eyes, that move would be just as legitimate as this whole mess with Bjesomar. But let's be real: it makes zero sense for Terry Carter2 to just conjure up points that weren't actually won. It’s just as illogical as letting a competitor stay in the race after they've already announced they're quitting.
It’s actually pretty funny to watch. You had this massive urge to come at me and trash my work in the Super League, but look at you now—you're stuck in the exact same spot I was. darkmarlin16, that guy you suggested to be the decision maker... Oh sure, everything he does is just absolutely flawless, right? And those decisions of his that fly way past the rulebook? Totally fine by you, I guess...🙄
So, you're basically saying it doesn't matter if there are zero results either, right? Honestly, that works perfectly fine for me too.
Total lie.
darkmarlin16 is all in for the decision maker. Dorian made the suggestion..
I'm just being me. I was rooting for him..
So you basically handed him a race that was already a complete dumpster fire and a total disaster, and now everyone wants to point the finger at him for the chaos? Seriously? 🤷
You can see he’s actually trying to save the thing: he put forward a solid suggestion on how we can actually finish this super league.

Honestly, I don't see a single reason left to keep this whole Super League going at all. Because the pairings for round 3 basically don't exist; nobody has a clue who is even in round 3, who is still an active participant in the super league, who has how many points, who's been disqualified, who's playing whom in the next round, and so on. If all the results and disqualification decisions aren't posted before the next race, I don't see what else can be done besides locking this thread and just calling this season's Super League dead. |
And anyway... didn't you say "I am irrevocably resigning from my position as deputy decision maker for the super league, there is no way I'm going to disqualify the convincing leader of the super league or even debate it at all."
and
"As far as I'm concerned, the super league is completely over for me this season and I have no intention of running it anymore or doing anything with this thread."
So why start all this up and trigger a debate about darkmarlin16's disqualification when you clearly stated you weren't even going to talk about it? 😁
And why bring up locking things down and shutting the competition if you already made it clear you're done with this topic? 😁
