Your dilemma regarding the superleague is entirely pointless. The director—who also serves as his own deputy—could, and arguably should, be darkmarlin16. I will offer just one reason, though there are many more: he is the only one who truly plays every single game, and he is more invested in them than anyone else.

I’m with you there... darkmarlin16 definitely deserves the spot for host and co-host. 🙂

I honestly feel like we’re right on the edge of seeing things even out, you know? Like, it's practically happening at this point. 😁

Whose forecast am I even answering to this round? Since darkmarlin16 should've been disqualified way before Belgium, I actually kind of love that I get to play against him this time...

Just one quick thing...

this:

12. A participant may only post their predictions using the username they used to enter the competition, unless an admin changes it. Banned participants still have the right to play by submitting their entry or response via a post from the account that was banned, which the moderator will then relay to the thread. If they fail to do this, they will be disqualified.

should be changed to this:
12. A participant may only post their predictions using the username they used to enter the competition, unless an admin changes it.

Whoever you pick as the new manager, if they actually want banned users to be able to play, they should come up with their own way for those people to send in entries or responses...
That method needs to be public and visible to everyone (to avoid any arguments later on) while staying within the rules of Reddit.<

Since I was the one responsible for passing along those entries/responses, and frankly, I just don't want to do it anymore.
Please change this rule, because I'm definitely not playing messenger for those entries/responses on this thread.

As a player, I don't even think we need that rule, especially since it hasn't even been used—even though darkmarlin16 had the chance this season...

Can someone please double-check this math for Belgium? If it checks out, I’ll go ahead and run the numbers for Italy too.

I basically just parachuted into this conversation because the people running the show were totally blowing smoke, and honestly, I'd hate to see the superleague fall apart right in the middle of the season.

From what I can tell, nobody’s even thinking about answering this...
ruggedfox28 said:Whose forecast am I even answering to this round? Since darkmarlin16 should've been disqualified way before Belgium, I actually kind of love that I get to play against him this time...

I'm dying to see how that showdown actually plays out...

And if you're calling the shots as the Manager, then it's high time you make a call regarding those people who supposedly should've been disqualified after CNN Belgium for failing to send three consecutive bids/responses... actually, it's four in a row now... once you decide, just pull in the next reserves on the list.
Same goes for the decision on Bjesomar and the withdrawals. I'm not entirely sure, but I think there are others who haven't sent a bid or response for three or more races straight.
Feel free to call in Max to help explain things and sort out these potential disqualifications and other headaches... he knows this stuff better than anyone, and he's always down to help when it comes to keeping the superleague regular.

Also, it would be nice to get these decisions made so we actually know who's playing who and whose bid is being answered... assuming there's even any intention of finishing this superleague season at all.🤷

Since Bjesomar bailed and there’s zero chance of finding a replacement, I’m basically getting this round handed to me on a silver platter ☕

Round 14

Bjesomar - darkmarlin16
Jessica Ramos12 - Terry Carter2
Ferstar - ruggedfox28
Edward Howard2 - stormybadger8

Also, I’m throwing it out there that maybe only the top four should even bother playing the third round (the so-called championship league), because honestly, there's no point in running the whole thing anymore since half the crew quit for reasons we all know too well.

Who says there aren't any replacements? ?

There’s no Race Director around to actually make a call on this whole disqualification mess, which means we’re still stuck wondering whose replacement Kimi actually is.

And if you really need them, here are the guys ahead of him and behind him on the list:
The List:
8. Sheldon
Backup driver - Gilberth
Fourth reserve - basically irrelevant.
6th reserve - Kimi#1

Based on those 2011 results, here's what the remaining reserves look like:
Begemotica techno Mania Falco SM
Begemotica techno Mania Falco SM
Begemotica techno Mania Falco SM
Rain Karlospeed Sep
Karlospeed Sep
Sepa

Since only Kimi signed up at the start of the superleague, we need a ruling on whether substitutes who didn't register can even play. If they can, we should probably call them up and demand they actually make themselves known.

I'm totally down with that idea.

Just the top four in the championship league, start from zero points, everyone races each other twice, and call it a day. That's it.

That’s actually a solid suggestion regarding lap 3. Honestly, might be the smartest move yet...🙂
It’s probably not even going to happen anyway; there aren't enough players to pull off the original plan.

But hey, Max, care to explain why I was wrong about the Patagonia situation? Apparently, it’s perfectly fine for darkmarlin16 to just keep moving along, even though they haven't sent an offer or a reply in four races straight...

The whole super league is totally compromised by all these forfeits, and honestly, so are the points... I mean, just look at you, you've got like 5 or 6 matchups that didn't even happen.
These kinds of walkouts and unplayed matches have already done enough damage to the competition.
Sure, those wins and losses without any actual fighting affected the standings and who might eventually qualify for that so-called championship league, but it wouldn't be right if they decide the champion when everything has turned out like this.
The champ should be decided fairly through actual battles and played matches; otherwise, in my opinion, there's no point in forming a championship league if all those compromised points are going to stick. And if we don't form a championship league, I don't think there's any point in playing on anyway, since you can see that more than half the players didn't even show up last round.
