Next March, Disney is dropping their big live-action take on the classic fairy tale, and after teasing us with that brief teaser featuring nothing but Cinderella's glass slipper, they finally blessed us with actual scenes from the movie. ----->Trailer<-----
Director Kenneth Branagh told Yahoo! Movies that they're throwing in a few twists to the traditional story—mostly centered around Ella, who’s being portrayed as much more scrappy and independent than the version we grew up with in previous adaptations.

American actress Lily James, who most people know from her role in Downton Abbey, stars as our lead, while her former co-star from that series, Sophia McShera, plays one of the stepsisters. Richard Madden from Game of Thrones is playing the charming prince, and Helena Bonham-Carter is stepping in as Cinderella's fairy godmother. Based on what I saw in the trailer, Cate Blanchett looks absolutely perfect as the wicked stepmother.
