Hey everyone!
Listen, I am absolutely obsessed with Mozart, and honestly, I couldn't be happier knowing that I'll finally get to see him perform and listen to his work in just a few days. ๐ I feel like Iโm about to burst with pure, unadulterated joy!๐
Most likely, Iโll be heading to the concert solo, since none of my inner circle shares my level of obsession with Mozart. It would be truly wonderful if there were others out thereโperhaps just one person or a small groupโwho wouldn't mind me tagging along, so I don't have to face the music alone. Wouldn't that be something? ๐
Look, if anyone actually wants to get in touch, feel free to reach out via private message or just say what's on your mind right here in the open. Itโs entirely up to you.

So, Iโm reading that he canceled tonight's gig... apparently, he missed his flight in London. I mean, what was he doing waiting three days to head out? (His last show was in Dublin on the 2nd). He already bailed on the Switzerland date because of the flu, and now heโs claiming heโll try to squeeze Athens in somewhere. Is he even going to make it to us? We still have Istanbul and New York ahead of us. This is getting ridiculous.๐คฃ
Mozart might have been thinking about next year...๐

Correction, the Dublin gig actually went down on December 1st.
Looks like he barely moved any tickets in Athens... what a bizarre tour this is turning out to be. Does anyone here have any actual insight into how many tickets were sold for the Washington, D.C. show?

Itโs common knowledge that things went south with Pete back in the mid-80s after a pretty nasty falling out, so seeing him praise his work from that era is actually quite surprising. ๐
Dead Or Alive - Mysty Circles (Dub) (1983) (Sophisticated Boom Boom - LP - 1984)
Honestly, once you take a closer look at their debut album cover, the breakup makes perfect sense. ๐คฃ

They just pushed back the Istanbul show scheduled for tomorrow too... something weird is going on here. Thereโs a high chance theyโll cancel the Mexico City and Washington, D.C. dates as well. Let's hope I'm wrong about this one.

If you actually take a good look at their debut album cover, the breakup doesn't seem all that shocking. ๐คฃ
He recently mentioned feeling bad about how David Bowie spent years stuck at home in a depression eating meatballs, and while he's glad the new album finally dropped, he hasn't even listened to it because the cover art is just hideous...๐คฃ
btw a-ha? ๐ ๐คฃ I actually dig some of their stuffโsongs like the one mentioned, Hunting High and Low, Stay on These Roads, etc. ๐คฃ
Also, has anyone actually spotted those posters anywhere around town?

Subject: Two long-time band members just walked out, which is why the shows are being pushed back... we're talking people who have been in the trenches with him for years. Solomon Walker on bass and guitarist Jesse Tobias are gone. Honestly, I have no clue whatโs actually going on behind the scenes... or what kind of set weโre even going to get at this point.๐คฆ

Honestly, I have no clue whatโs actually going on behind the scenes, but it leaves me wondering what kind of set weโre even going to get at the next gig. It's a bit of a mess.๐คฆ
Marr might just fly in as the replacement. ๐ฟ

From what I can see, people over on the True to You forum are claiming this isn't actually true...

Look, I am absolutely obsessed with Mozartโlike, seriously, Iโm beyond stoked that I finally get to see him live and dive back into his music in just a few days. It's going to be incredible. ๐ I honestly feel like Iโm about to popโjust pure, unadulterated joy, like a kernel hitting a hot pan!๐
So, here's the dealโIโm planning on hitting this Mozart concert solo. Most of my inner circle just doesn't share my obsession with Mozart, so I'll be flying solo on this one. It would be honestly amazing if there were some other solo travelers out there, or maybe even a small group of people looking to head over together. It would be really cool to have some company and navigate the whole thing with a crew instead of just wandering around by myself! ๐
Look, if anyone actually wants to chat, feel free to hit me up in my inbox or just post right here in the threadโI don't mind either way!
Hey there.๐
I sent you a message two or three days ago and haven't heard a peep back... nothing. ๐

Just grabbed my ticket todayโcount me in! ๐ So, weโre kicking things off at 9:30 PM, right?
What do you guys think of the setlist? I actually really dig the new album, so no complaints from me (super stoked they're playing Speedway!)โand "The Ivy League" is such a standout track. Apparently, they show footage of animal cruelty during "Meat is murder" on the big screens... lovely.

Iโm seriously hoping they don't flake out at the last minute, because I've been waiting for this for way too long...๐
