I need some guidance on picking out a monitor since I'm definitely not an expert in this field.

Basically, I'm looking for something that can function primarily as a TV for my home office, though I'll occasionally use it as a computer monitor too.

What screen size should I aim for? Any specific brands to consider? What features matter most for this kind of setup? Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Check out something like this, Dell UltraSharp 24 paired with an HP Pavilion Monitor and a TV. 🙂

Looking back at my options, I think a 22-inch screen would actually suit my needs best.😁 Is there anything available in that specific size?

HP Pavilion Monitor, 21.5"

If you happen to stumble upon one of those somewhere, you might also run into this:

I appreciate all the suggestions. Everything looks solid, though I'm having a hard time deciding between the options. I suppose I'll just have to see which one is actually in stock and go from there...

EDIT: One more quick favor. Could you guys check what's available at the link or maybe at Best Buy? I have two locations near me that carry something similar to what's being offered here.

Thanks

Maybe something like this from Best Buy:

Honestly, that isn't really designed for what you're trying to pull off, is it? It lacks a DVB-T/DVB-C tuner entirely. If you want my honest opinion, I’d steer you toward that Samsung model mentioned in the previous thread instead.

Perhaps you might consider purchasing a television and utilizing it as a computer monitor as well. 😉
While the initial investment is roughly 15% higher at the outset, I truly believe it is worth the expense. 😉

I personally like that Samsung from the local Best Buy, but if I were to order it online with shipping, it would end up being quite a bit more expensive, and it's tough to find anything like that here in the States...

Look, shipping isn't going to break the bank—maybe $7 or $8 tops. On the flip side, you could just grab a standard monitor with an HDMI port and pair it with a separate digital tuner that has an HDMI output. You’d probably end up spending about the same amount of cash anyway.

I was at Best Buy the other day and they pitched me some of the stuff from this category. Honestly, I’m starting to feel like it’s all more or less the same. Does anyone have any advice or thoughts on these options? Thanks.
