And then you've got this kid in the background shouting out slurs and claiming they "ruined the game"... just absolute top-tier class right there.

Hardest video out there. It’s about the solidarity and those kids in the West throwing around slurs like they own the place.

Looking at their signs, you can really tell how much those NFL fans loved marching through downtown Chicago—just being able to walk through the city, maybe grab a coffee or chat with some locals (or not), and actually feel at home in the biggest city in the country.
I guess it’s kind of the same way people from the West Coast love heading over to Miami, walking along the coast, catching a different vibe, and just chilling out by the water before the big game starts.
It just goes to show that even with all the tension between the North and the South, we've never really seen it turn into actual hatred—it's mostly stayed as a healthy rivalry.
But it also shows how mature this current generation is—yours, specifically—the group in their 20s and 30s who are basically carrying the weight of this whole thing on their shoulders right now.
Still, I suppose you have to stay smart and watch out for provocateurs and their little spin stories.
After all, if we look back at what happened between our two groups, back in the early 90s, things went from being incredibly united to having these intense conflicts almost overnight, without any real reason.

I honestly never thought I’d see the day where I’d feel this much gratitude and respect toward the guys from the South, even if they can be a total handful sometimes... but hey, I guess I owe my mom one for raising me with the right perspective.
On the flip side, when it comes to those snobs from the West Coast, I feel such a deep sense of secondhand embarrassment that I almost hate admitting I grew up in the same region as them.

Hats off to the oldest fan club in the country.

I really hope that one day we can all go back to sitting on different sides of the stadium, trading insults like we used to, but doing it with a massive amount of mutual respect.

And all that crap they're writing about how "lucky" we are to have beaten you guys? Screw them. Seriously, screw them. They're a tiny minority. "Old boys"? Who even are they?
Now I'm heading straight over to their board to start some drama.
You nailed it with that post. Man, I've been through hell and back—last Christmas, I actually ended up in a French prison, so believe me, I know what real struggle looks like.
I'm 44, and I've been hitting games since '83. I was there when the first BBB trans happened, and even though I'm currently sidelined, trust me, man, I'm not the only veteran on our side of the fence.
There are way more of us real ones than those whiners, especially once you hit 40.
Let them talk. You guys played your part perfectly. Hats off to you.

I think there's this totally wrong narrative floating around that only the younger BBB crowd is standing up against Mamić. Just look at those comments—when I was traveling all across the South, those kids weren't even born yet. It's true that the younger generations are leading this charge, but there's a huge group of us over 40 right there with them. Maybe one day we should all team up—including the old-school guys who used to be in the front lines but aren't active anymore—just to completely smash that myth.

If you actually bother to read the comments, you’ll see people talking about times when I was driving all the way down through the South and these kids weren't even born yet. While it's true that the younger generations are really driving this movement, there are plenty of us over 40 who are right there in the trenches too. Maybe one of these days we should all get together—including those former die-hard supporters who aren't active anymore but used to be part of the core group—just to finally smash that myth once and for all.

What are you guys waiting for? 🤷 😁

Honestly, we should probably grab a drink with some of those former die-hard fans who used to be front and center but have gone quiet lately, just to shut down this myth once and for all.

Managed to get in somehow on Sunday—couldn't do it yesterday though. Didn't have a ticket with my name on it either Sunday or yesterday, and I'm not letting those lowlifes put my name on a ticket, period. It's a matter of principle, I guess...
Yesterday I breeze through two checkpoints, pass the scanner, and think to myself—just like Sunday—that I'm golden. I'm in. But then after the scanner: bam, "show me your ticket," "ID please." I knew right then I wasn't moving an inch... And when he realized the info didn't match? Pure joy. He immediately starts shouting, calling me a moron, saying "no way, no way," and even calls over the people nearby to brag about it. Like he caught some high-profile terrorist or something... Honestly, the security at Dodger Stadium is a hundred times better than any police force in the world...
If we had gone to Yankee Stadium or Madison Square Garden instead, they probably would've treated us better and let us in easier. This level of repression is just insane
And how arrogant and maybe even fueled by spite this younger Jerry Jones is—personally, I find him even more disgusting than the old man—dedicating a win to the BBB veterans... They're powerful and they still act like they own the place and mock everyone... at least in my opinion

...my little brother really showed his backbone when the crew started grilling his older brother at the press conference...
...don't get me wrong, I hope everyone recovers quickly, but let's be real—this is clearly just more provocation...
Big thanks to the Black Knights!🙏
See you guys out on the Boardwalk!🙂

As for those people claiming we were lucky to get you guys—well, they can go straight to hell. They're a tiny minority, acting like some old guard, but who even are they?
Now I'm actually heading over to that other board to give them a piece of my mind.
You wrote a great piece; I’ve been through the ringer more than once, and I even spent last Christmas and New Year's in a French prison, so I know exactly how heavy things can get.
I’m 44 now, and I’ve been going to games since '83; I was there during the war, and I saw when the first BBB transport went down, though I'm currently sidelined, and believe me, friend, I’m not the only veteran standing firmly on our side.
There are far more of us real supporters than those fake types, especially those of us over 40.
Don't let them wear you down; you all played your part perfectly, and I tip my hat to you.

I don't know, man. Reading the recent thread where everyone is talking, about 80% of them don't even respect you guys; they’re just throwing shade from the sidelines. Honestly, they're worse than Jerry Jones's crowd. And the worst part is they present themselves as these serious "Blue Mods" or other groups using full names and surnames. Read it yourself if you don't believe me, but I'm genuinely stunned... I can hardly wrap my head around it. Even a good portion of them are siding with those "veterans" after everything that happened last week.

It’s true that nobody asks for their opinion, but it still shocks me every time it happens. It’s hard to watch.

Ryan Chavez3 said:plus they act all high and mighty like they're some kind of elite blue mods little group, acting like everyone needs to use their full legal names. Honestly, I'm not feeling it.

-that bolded part? It's just not true, period.
-look, I'm not saying I love it either. People on different forums can pretend to be whoever they want, but like I said, those stories about the crew behind that banner over on the east side have nothing to do with this.

ps - if you have a link or want to DM me which forum you're talking about, send it over so I can take a look...

Why does everyone keep bringing up those old-timers who back Jerry Jones when we already know exactly who they are and how many there are—maybe five people tops. This isn't New York City or Tokyo, and the BBB never had ten thousand people anyway...

And I don't get why we're even dragging this up in the fan culture thread?
