Malware on the forum?

Starting today, I've been getting constant warnings from Google Chrome—it's refusing to let me access the forum because of some supposed "malicious software." Does anyone actually know what's going on here?🤷🤷

A quick heads-up regarding potential malware. If you can't guarantee your machine is scrubbed clean of Trojans, please stay off the network. 😁

I'm getting this message on my screen: "Malicious site reported!

The website Reddit has been flagged as malicious and blocked based on your security settings.
Malicious sites attempt to install software designed to steal private information, use your computer to launch attacks on other systems, or damage your OS. While some sites intentionally distribute malware, many others are compromised without the owner's knowledge or consent."
Does anyone know what's going on here? 🤷😕

Mine's flagging malware too, too.

Same here, and I'm using Mozilla to do it.

I mean, let's be real, I bet the crowd reported it just because those ads were getting way too annoying

If I'm running Avast Free, am I actually protected against this Trojan, or am I just kidding myself?

I went ahead and threw Ubuntu on my old rig just in case, but I honestly don't get why it’s taking them three whole days to sort this out...

Same thing happened to me last night around 1:00 AM—Opera started flagging that malware, but everything’s running fine today.

Honestly, Google Chrome keeps blocking me from accessing sites and throwing those malware warnings right in my face. It’s been doing this for three days straight now. Everything was working perfectly fine before, but today I had to switch over to Internet Explorer just to get onto the forum. Hopefully, this whole thing gets sorted out soon...

It’s like when you see a sign warning about a minefield, so you just kick the damn thing out of the way and suddenly there isn't a mine anymore 🙂

Any word on when they’ll actually fix this? I'm still getting errors on both Google Chrome and Firefox.

Doesn't seem like an antivirus issue—this is coming through ads. I posted a screenshot over on Reddit. From what I can tell, Adobe Flash is the culprit here.
