Doesn't change the fact that this crew is hitting 100% on both the driving and technical sides. Makes them three times better than Red Bull Racing. Period.

They were definitely better than Red Bull Racing, too.😢
That season was brutal...
The only time Vettel actually lost a title fight while driving for Red Bull Racing...

But hey, you learn from your mistakes.😁

Honestly, I had no clue until just now that people actually drive in Formula 1 just to pad their stats instead of chasing the actual title...

Most of that testing time was basically wasted just trying to figure out how the tires performed back when we were dealing with two different manufacturers.
It was such an unnecessary drain on resources for both the teams and the tire suppliers; I actually came across some data suggesting Bridgestone only had a $20 million budget specifically for Ferrari's testing, which is absolutely insane if you think about it.
In my opinion, Formula 1 made exactly the right call by switching to a single supplier, since it naturally cut down the massive need for all that extra testing.
If I remember correctly, the teams actually pushed back against mid-season testing—much like they did last year—because it just felt like... well, a total waste of time to them.

What a total disaster of a season...
Literally the only time Vettel lost a title fight while driving for Red Bull...

but hey, you learn from your mistakes, right?😁

No no no, Brawn GP was three times better than Red Bull Racing, and let's be real—Red Bull Racing is never gonna touch how good Brawn GP actually was.

Alex Fowler5 said:No way. Brawn GP was three times better than Red Bull Racing, and honestly, Red Bull Racing isn't ever going to touch a team as good as Brawn GP.

Exactly.😁
I don't disagree, but then you have to ask where Ferrari fits into all this...
Brawn No1, RBR No2... then I guess it's McLaren, then Williams, then Renault, then🤣

All things considered, Ferrari probably lands somewhere around sixth or seventh on that list.😁

The only thing that's totally skewed is that "top tier" ranking—it really only counts if they were there from the very start.

A quasi-peak.

Total wins: 221. Leading follower 182, second 114.
Total pole positions: 207. Leading follower 155, second 127.
Constructors' titles: 16. Leading follower 9, second 8.
Driver titles: 16. Leading follower 12. Second 7.

We are the most successful team of the modern Formula 1 era.
We are the most successful team of this millennium.

Ferrari strong.

I don't care about that part, but then you gotta ask—where does Ferrari even fit into this whole mess?...
Brawn No1, RBR No2... looks like McLaren, then Williams, then Renault, then🤣

All things considered, Ferrari is maybe just the 6th or 7th team on that list😁

The only thing that's totally warped is thinking they're at some kind of peak just because they were there from the jump...

Honestly, I couldn't care less about Ferrari. I'm riding with Brawn GP—the greatest and absolute best team ever. They're on a level that losers like Ferrari, McLaren, Red Bull Racing, and whatever else could only dream about.

Tell him, Jenson 😬

Honestly, this Jenson Button guy gets funnier by the second with all his "wisdom" about everyone else on the grid...
Maybe he should clean up his own backyard before wandering around judging others.😁

Btw, the footage of the crash just dropped.

Marussia seems to love playing ping-pong with Pastor Maldonado...

The only thing that’s totally skewed is holding onto some idea of being at the top based solely on who was there from the start...

Were you maybe counting based on fan numbers?

Qinghua’s holding a slim lead, with Karun Chandhok right behind him...😬
Looking at who's actually on the grid right now, Perez is pulling away convincingly. Maldonado is in second, and Grosjean is sitting in third, though he's fighting tooth and nail to move up regardless of the chaos.😬

Yeah, the Chinese and the Indians. Honestly, just don't go there. It gives me a headache.

Anyway, back to my question. I was watching Monaco at this local dive bar—mostly filled with guys from my hometown. I rolled in about ten minutes before 2 PM and scrambled to get the TV and remote sorted (dealing with the usual "you can't do that right now" from the wife and kids, obviously). As soon as the waiter got everything set up, five or six of them wandered over, sat down, and we started talking. Most of them I know; decent guys, mostly work in construction or heavy machinery...
So I ask the oldest guy there, "Hey, Igor, let me guess who you're rooting for?"
He looks me dead in the eye and says, "You know, I'm a Mercedes guy..."
I replied, "I didn't think you'd be a Ferrari fan."
He goes, "Man, I watch every single race. Even when my guys are struggling, we usually watch together. But I'm the only one here backing Mercedes, everyone else is for Ferrari so things get pretty heated..."

So, I decided I'll head up north to catch the race in person sometime. My bad, what kind of small town am I living in?

Mods, feel free to move this to the chat if it's out of place.

The FIA clearly censored part of the broadcast.😂
