Given everything going down lately, there’s really only one way to look at it from a supporter's perspective: fans have absolutely no clue what they actually want. We're all just wandering around aimlessly like lost souls in a fog—it's honestly pathetic. But hey, don't get too comfortable, because this won't last forever. We are basically counting down the final seconds of the old-school supporter movement as we know it. It sucks, I get it, but that's just the reality of it. It’s that inevitable evolution that has to happen if we’re ever going to move forward. 🙂

Sophia Rodriguez95 said:If you ask me, the American soccer establishment and its corrupt power structures have completely outmaneuvered their counterparts across the pond, and it’s purely because they produce higher-quality players who couldn't care less about the politics involved. Meanwhile, American soccer fans—or if we’re being honest, just the mindless sheep—show up to matches solely to vent frustration at rivals, or they sit there watching others get crushed, only to fail at even expressing that passion properly. Then you have that small group of "intellectuals" down South who think celebrating being on the same terrace as everyone else is some massive achievement for the ultra mindset. Instead of calling out the farce and fighting for actual ideals—like organizing a joint boycott or protest near a stadium in Chicago or maybe somewhere in Dallas—they just swallowed the whole mess. But hey, at least we all sat together down South and managed to beat the opposition. Tomorrow, we’ll both be out there raising banners against the US Soccer Federation corruption, maybe lighting a few flares near a stadium in Miami or Houston, and that’ll be it—everything is fine, all for the "common cause." At this rate, maybe by the year 2054, we might actually manage to build something meaningful together. Finally.

In some ways, you're right. Laws and heavy-handed crackdowns have dismantled many supporter scenes that used to be the vanguard of true fandom. However, I don't think we've reached that breaking point yet. Looking at the demographics, it’s surprising; even though we are a relatively small nation with a declining population, we've always managed to put on a great show, whether it's through fan groups, ultras, or hooligan styles. Reading through previous posts, it seems a few of you are overly preoccupied with how others perceive us. Honestly, anyone who forms an opinion based solely on the latest headline or news clip about us might as well look in the mirror and feel ashamed. It lacks any real substance. When there's chaos abroad, people criticize America, yet when we show our strength in the streets, they suddenly bow down to us. So, who's really in charge? Ultras shouldn't have to answer to anyone. Our fight to improve American soccer will ultimately be judged by the end results and the goals we achieve. It shouldn't matter if we got there by filing complaints against officials or by causing a stir with flares during a European qualifying match. On a side note, regarding that game against ExxonMobil—ever since the media started their official crusade against us, that match probably should have been abandoned. There were three long delays, and I guess I still have no idea why they didn't just call it.

Seriously, what on earth is wrong with us?!
Who was actually at the game? Man, what a pathetic mess... we really need to take a long, hard look in the mirror. It’s honestly embarrassing that we can't even rally together ourselves. Instead, you've got these random drunks calling themselves "lifelong fans," showing up once a year, standing in the North Stand, and acting like they're some hardcore ultras or hooligans.

Take me, for example. Unfortunately, I could only grab tickets for the East Stand, so I was standing somewhere in the middle, just a few feet closer to the South side. Right at the start of the second half, I heard people from the South section yelling, "US Soccer, you ruined the sport!" and I joined in (since I usually try to follow the South section rather than the North)... but do you think anyone besides me and my buddies actually shouted back?! NOBODY nearby even opened their mouth. And when someone set off a flare, everyone just shouted "idiots" in unison.

And I'll tell you exactly what the problem is... the big shots in the soccer federation know exactly how much this crap hurts us! But we can't give in. This was just the first step toward doing things right. No matter how much we might clash with each other, when the national team plays, we have to unite and show them we're stronger... especially with all those "smaller" games coming up. We need to get all the supporter groups together and go as one. Because that whole situation against the rival team was a total joke. Our little groups—the 200, the Black Knights 200, and whoever else—were basically nothing. Once ticket sales go back to being normal instead of this mess they intentionally rigged for us, we need to pack that North Stand and shout as one against the corrupt officials!!!

Nah, you got that wrong... they were yelling "idiots" when he lit the flag... whether it was him or whoever else tossed it down... 🤷

The guys from the North Side were yelling at some dude for being a total moron and setting a banner ablaze with a flare, not because they have a problem with flares itself.

Man, I have to ask—where is all this money actually coming from for all these away trips? It feels like every single fan is out there traveling everywhere; you’ve got the domestic league matches, then you’re following the national team not just across the country, but even on international trips... Is everyone just suddenly living on a budget?

Every single fan seems to have enough cash to follow the club, then turn around and travel to see the National Team—not just at home games, but flying out to international matches too... Is everyone just suddenly loaded overnight?

And don't even get me started on the Champions League or Europa League trips...

I guess we’re just a bunch of organized crime syndicates then, huh? 🤷

That was just your take and maybe some other... well, even my own 🤦, but then the group (the left side of the North Stand) started shouting it again while the police were taking the guy who lit the flare away under the East Stand, all while gesturing right at him 🤦

Was that the same guy who set off the flare?

We’re basically a syndicate 🤷

The Black Knights are dealing and importing drugs
BBB acts like the debt collectors and bouncers for the clubs (mostly the smaller ones😉)
The ultras and Kohorta pretend they don't like each other, but they're actually working with groups from the North America to smuggle everything under the sun.
The Demons pull heists in places like Trieste or Italy and then run the goods through here.
The Armadi get donations from their folks back home because of those ties.😉

That's all people talk about regarding the top league, while everyone else is just small-time criminals.

The BBB types act like loan sharks and bouncers at most clubs—mostly just a bunch of losers😉
Then you've got the ultras and Kohorta acting like they hate everyone, but they’re actually working with crews from overseas to smuggle all kinds of stuff through the borders.
Those demons are out there stealing in places like Trieste or Italy and then bringing it right back home.
And sure, those certain groups donate money just because they share the same roots...😉

That's the reality of the big leagues while everyone else is just small-time crooks...

Maybe they were tripping thinking he tossed the flare under the transit gate or some joke like that. From where I was sitting way up in the North end, I didn't even catch that the officer kicked him... though once I saw them dragging him off, I definitely gave them a piece of my mind...

Btw, anyone know where exactly that was in the upper North (left side)? Was I hallucinating or did a riot actually break out? It was pretty close to me, but I couldn't see a thing through all the people.

It’s just plain stupid. Why bother lighting a banner for a team that’s already toured half the globe? It isn't even worth a single flare... 🙄

It's a shame the rest of that entire line of shills didn't show up too (not including the flag-waving patriots).😢
