Wustenfuchs said:I have no clue what situation you’re referring to, but if I really have to explain that there isn't an alternative to this self-funding model—which is perfectly legitimate—then we're stuck. Is there an alternative? What, should we start handing out welfare checks like it's the nineties, or just take out a loan from Fidelity? Not happening.

Let me make this clear one more time: I don't see any other plan besides using marketing and membership fees to fund the KN, which then distributes those funds toward the group's essentials. If you actually have a better model in mind, sure, let's grab a coffee. I'll be home soon. 🙂

I don't know how much you actually follow what's going on here, but if you do, I'm at a loss for words.
It seems like you view those NFL Ultras as just some local fan club, whereas for me, this is 😉

Maybe you should actually think about what kind of money we're working with and where it's coming from before you start acting like you know everything, rebel...

Rommel hit the nail on the head—there isn't a better way to fund this than what we've got, unless you count the collection buckets at the stadium, but if we relied on those, we wouldn't even have enough left over for a cheap beer at a dive bar...
Don't push your luck with me.

Rommel made a good point—there isn't a more honest way to fund this right now. I mean, sure, we could set up donation buckets in the stands, but if that's our only source of income, we wouldn't even have enough to grab a beer at a local dive bar...
Don't push me on the rest of it.

And why shouldn't we put donation buckets in the stands? I won't even get into what that extra cash would mean for everyone during a game, let alone anything else. But hey, I guess that's just "how things are done" here, right?
Why? Because realistically, there aren't even 200 hardcore fans in the entire scene.
So who are you lying to and deceiving, and for what? Just some pathetic ego trip?

Draw a parallel to the sex industry. If your own kid was in that business, would you call that "the right way" to do things?

The real question is who you’re actually kidding, because it sounds like you're lying to yourself first and foremost.
How can you even justify being part of a group when you clearly despise how they handle their money? If you think the cash coming in through club marketing is somehow "dirty" or beneath you, then what kind of hypocrite are you, using those exact same funds to pay for your little stunts and halftime shows?...

We really ought to set up two promotional models decked out in our team colors right next to the health clinic. The idea is that as soon as one gets refilled, we can haul it straight over to the police station, while the second one stays on standby... In exchange, I imagine the local supporters would be more than happy to sew some banners and bring the pyrotechnics down to the stadium. 😬

If you can't stomach how a group is being funded, how can you justify being part of it? If you actually believe the money coming in through club marketing is somehow "dirty," then what kind of person are you, using those exact funds to pay for banners and choreographies?

Let’s be real here: there’s nothing wrong with making a T-shirt and turning a quick profit on it, but man, look at where we actually stand right now.

It bothers me, so I’m pushing back against it—just like everyone else who feels the same way. Whether we stay true to our principles in the long run remains to be seen.😉

It’s something that bothers me, so I find myself pushing back against it, much like anyone else who feels the same way. As for how consistent we’ll actually remain in this stance... well, I suppose only time will tell.😉

Man, do you seriously believe people doing this are actually seeing any personal gain? That’s like arguing a rocket makes a profit off the graphite used to build it.

I get why they’re going with this "aggressive" marketing to hit the masses—it makes sense. But honestly, we really need a more "serious" selection of products too.

Marketing is a mess because everyone takes the path of least resistance, and honestly, we all share the blame for how things ended up...

It’s basically saying, "I want the profit, but I don't want to do any of the work."
Consistency starts at the beginning, right now, especially when it comes to certain principles...
If you toss those values out the window today, why should anyone look to you for leadership down the road...
Let's just focus on the merch, self-funding, and building up a community fund so we can say we did things the right way, yeah?
Then maybe, just maybe, your word will actually carry some weight in the future...

Hey, watch your mouth on here—you're going to start racking up strikes, and then you'll see what happens. 🙄

It's pretty obvious you don't know what you're talking about, so I'm not even going to bother...

Why? Because, let's be honest, there aren't even 200 true die-hard fans on the entire scene.
So who are you trying to fool, and more importantly, why? Is this just some massive ego trip?

Think about it like this: if someone were selling their soul, would you call that "right" just because they're doing it?

Look, I really have to 🤦weigh in🤦 on this. Just take a moment to remember which other clubs in the neighborhood used donation boxes in the stands, how that turned out for them, and the kind of messy scene it created—no matter how much people praise their "top 5 in Europe" status while simultaneously trying to distance themselves from the shady business involving agents, mob ties, and armored cars... honestly, would you really want us to follow that exact same script?
Let me be clear: it’s not about whether we want to help or donate. It’s about the method. Look at how Sampdoria handled things back home—using flag campaigns and online marketing to drive those initiatives. That's how it was done properly.
I don't see any reason why we couldn't continue using that same approach; plenty of people would step up to make it happen.
The only real issue is finding someone capable enough to actually manage it. 🤷

It’s what you call being caught between a rock and a hard place.
Consistency shows up right at the starting line—right now—especially when it comes to sticking to certain ideals.
If you blow them off now, how can you expect the people you need to lead to actually have your back down the road?
Let’s go with donation boxes, crowdfunding, or just pooling some cash from the group—that way we can say we did it with a clean conscience, right?
Then your word will actually carry some weight in the future.

Look, you weren't exactly consistent when it came to being a die-hard fan. Or maybe you're just one of those "ultras" who knows exactly how to fold under pressure and play both sides?

Don't sweat it. 😉
