Hello,

I have a significant issue because my hemorrhoids are quite large. I've experienced bleeding several times over the last few months—streaks of blood and spotting when using the restroom, even without a bowel movement. I tried using Neurobion cream because of the advertisements, but it hasn't helped at all; I don't see or feel any difference. There isn't any pain, but the sensation and the mere thought of having lumps near my anus is unpleasant and frankly a bit alarming. I haven't opened up to my doctor about this yet, even though these problems have been persisting for about a year now.

I've been reading extensively about various creams, but none of them seem to resolve the situation. Please give me some advice. I am fully aware that I need to see a doctor, but aside from that...

Has anyone else dealt with this? You have a perfectly normal bowel movement without any bleeding, but because you feel like you haven't completely emptied yourself, you end up straining. Then, maybe thirty minutes later, you pass gas accompanied by loose, watery stools and traces of blood.
This has been happening to me on a regular basis for the last six months.
Three years ago, I went in for an exam and was diagnosed with second-degree internal hemorrhoids.

I HONESTLY HOPE SOMEDAY SOMEONE GETS SO FED UP THAT THEY THROW A MOLOTOV COCKTAIL AT THAT COMPANY OR AT LEAST KIDNAP THE CEO AND FORCE-FEED HIM ALL THOSE DAMN TABLETS OR GIVE HIM A GOOD RUN FOR HIS MONEY WITH A BASEBALL BAT. THEN HE CAN PAY THOSE RIDICULOUS PRICES HIMSELF, THE SCUM!!!

I'm of the same opinion—it's way too overpriced. When I was traveling through Europe, I picked up some of that unknown stuff in a little green box containing 60 tablets. $13I checked the ingredients, and they're identical. These green ones are actually manufactured in India and labeled for use in India and Nepal, but apparently, they export them. As for how it works... by the second tablet, almost all—or at least 95%—of the issues I was having with hemorrhoids had vanished. If anyone is looking, you can try searching for it on eBay. Honestly, if this post helps even one person out, I'll be pretty happy about it. Anyway, I've been taking it for six days now, and I can say the trouble is gone. From what I've read, the hemorrhoidal tissue starts receding somewhere between the first and second week of use.

Then he can enjoy those prices himself, the scum!!!

I picked up a box of 60 tablets while I was traveling through Poland... it was about $11... From the very first pill, my issues were basically gone—or at least 99% of them. It was that green box from the Himalayas. Why is it so cheap? Well, because the label says it's specifically for India and Nepal, but clearly, it's being exported. As far as I could tell, the ingredients are identical to the ones on the American packaging..

Stage IV hemorrhoids. Total chaos. 🙂 I’m heading in for surgery soon, and it's going to be the traditional route because my doctor says a laser won't cut it for hemorrhoids this advanced.
Honestly, the post-op pain is what's really messing with my head.
Has anyone here gone through the classic surgery for this? How was the aftermath, and how long did the recovery actually take?
Just panicking a bit. 🙂
Thanks

I asked the pharmacist about the difference between those two brands. They told me there's a massive gap. Apparently, the blue version is the only legitimate one, and everything else is just a knockoff. So, if you took the green version, who knows what kind of effect you actually got?

In Canada, the blue version is 50% cheaper. That means $133 while it costs $267 here, it might even be more affordable there. I heard they've been lowering prices on certain medications because of the lower economic standards in Canada.

Hey, I’m looking for some recommendations for a proctologist. I need someone reliable and serious—an experienced doctor who actually listens and gives a straight professional opinion.
Maybe Dr. Fila, the Lastrić Clinic... or someone else entirely?
They seem to be the ones everyone talks about.
I don't live in Washington, D.C., but honestly, the drive doesn't matter if it means getting a solid diagnosis....
Thanks!

I wanted to share some advice based on my own experience regarding difficult bowel movements accompanied by pain and bleeding... (partly due to certain medications, war injuries, and HIV). My remedy: drink a small to large tablespoon of olive oil on an empty stomach every morning. Even if I forget and take it after breakfast, the issue with painful defecation is resolved. The oil really needs to be high-quality, locally produced... I use oil from a small farm in rural California. Good luck!

But what would be the actual point of drinking oil?
I mean, doesn't the stomach just digest the oil?
Or does some of it actually reach the intestines and "lubricate" things?
And honestly, how healthy is it to drink that much olive oil year after year?

Honestly,
unknown was my saving grace.
I stuck strictly to a soft diet—mostly soups and stews—until my hemorrhoids finally cleared up. I needed to make the recovery process as easy as possible and minimize any strain during bowel movements, because let me tell you, they were so swollen that even the simplest trip to the bathroom was an absolute nightmare.

Heh, what ridiculous questions...
Maybe go back and review some elementary school science.

Hello there,
I was wondering if anyone here has gone through the experience of having hemorrhoid surgery via laser or perhaps the THD method?

Greetings, everyone..

Fortunately, I haven’t had any issues with hemorrhoids up until now (though they aren't exactly worth mentioning), but suddenly, they've made an appearance. And they've arrived in a particularly nasty way, if you ask me..

The thing is, since I'm undergoing chemotherapy (I've finished the second of six sessions), I've run into hemorrhoid problems due to the diarrhea that consistently hits me three or four days after chemo. I have to stop it with some unknown medication just so I don't lose all my electrolytes. Then, once that's managed, I end up constipated for as many days as I go without taking something like an unknown laxative to get things moving. It's this constant cycle of diarrhea followed by constipation that triggered the hemorrhoids.
But they weren't really an issue during the first round.
The trouble started when I decided to combine that laxative with a probiotic on the same day. After six days of absolutely nothing happening... well, you can imagine what kind of disaster that turned out to be..

And then came the real nightmare: such intense urgency and pressure, yet nothing would come out.. I felt like I was being torn apart.. I saw stars. There was burning and deep internal pain, and then finally, one tiny little hemorrhoid about the size of a fingernail popped out..
And blood.. for the first time in my life.. I was terrified. Thankfully, the bleeding stopped quickly and hasn't happened again, thank God..
But.. I feel like I've seriously damaged things inside from straining so hard. When I whistle, there's this internal pressure that irritates the hemorrhoids.. and don't even get me started on when I have to go to the bathroom. The probiotic turns everything into mush, and then it burns like hell..
I've decided I am NOT taking probiotics anymore. Instead, I'll just have a little yogurt every day and stick strictly to soups, stews, cooked vegetables, and meat—no bread. We'll see how that goes. Because right now, it feels like I might have a prolapse, though I really hope not.. and my stools aren't loose.

So, my main issue is this sensation that something is protruding where it shouldn't be (maybe I need to push the hemorrhoid back in?), along with the burning and pain that persists even when I'm whistling... 😲 Yeah.. even when I'm whistling..😢
I suppose the slight pressure from gravity while urinating pushes those internal hemorrhoids outward, causing them to scrape and hurt.. Has anyone else ever heard of that..?!? 😲
It's awful.. This just started today. I'm not a chronic sufferer like most of you, but I'm terrified this stupid chemo is going to turn me into one..

So, here is the jackpot question: which cream or gel should be applied internally, and which one is for external use, to soothe this pain, scraping, and burning??
Just please don't tell me to take more pills; I'm already taking far too many, and I don't know where else I could possibly fit them into my schedule.. 🙂

Sorry for the long post, but I am completely fed up with these side effects. I'm trying to fight through them, but this is TRULY HORRIBLE when you feel like your guts are about to fail and everything is stinging and burning..
P.S. Honestly, I think labor pains are mild compared to this.. I have NEVER experienced pain quite like this..

Help me, people! Seriously, what do I apply externally and what goes internally..??

I would be incredibly grateful for any answers! 🙂

Try taking it consistently every single day—just once a day. Grab a plastic cup of yogurt from the store and stir in about 2 to 4 teaspoons of flaxseed oil.
It really does the trick for me.
From what I’ve gathered, the theory is that the oil isn't fully absorbed by the body and just passes right through your system, acting like a natural lubricant for your digestive tract.
Another way people explain it is that the oil coats everything, so things move along without any irritation to the intestinal walls.
Honestly, it doesn't really matter which explanation is technically right—all that matters is that it works to keep things moving smoothly. 😉
Let me know how it goes for you; feel free to shoot me a private message if you prefer.

I really appreciate your response! I’m definitely going to give that a shot..

That being said, it feels like applying some kind of soothing cream or gel to the area for a few days might be absolutely necessary.. It hurts just sitting still. Honestly, whether I'm sitting, lying down, or walking, it feels like half of my backside has basically migrated outside my body..

Forgive me, dear friends, for this rather agitated and unpolished post, but I am truly at my wit's end. Listen: I'm undergoing chemo, and I've managed to push through most of it (which, as you can imagine, is incredibly difficult), but this? This is just the absolute worst part of the whole ordeal! I can barely walk normally. And I've only just woken up and haven't even started my day yet. I still feel this intense pressure and pain, as if something is protruding when it certainly shouldn't be. I've checked myself—there's no rectal prolapse, which would be far more serious symptoms. My suspicion is that the hemorrhoids have swollen so much that it feels like half my internal anatomy is external, even though I can only see one tiny little thing.

I can't get to my doctor right now; it's the holidays, the office is pure chaos during the seasonal shift, and with New Year's Day right around the corner, I'm stuck being my own doctor for a few days.. 🤦
And the thought of heading to the ER doesn't even cross my mind: I don't need them adding any more... khm... 😁

So, is there a specific cream or gel you all have heard about that works well to soothe the area, manage the pain, or calm down what might be inflammation?

Thank you in advance!

Your fellow sufferer

My dear friends,

I want to extend my sincere thanks to everyone for all the responses provided!

I haven't had the chance to try that specific remedy yet; instead, I decided to focus entirely on ensuring I have a bowel movement every single day to prevent any kind of blockage from forming. I will certainly be Googling that particular suggestion to see what it entails...

As it stands, I have managed to resolve a significant portion of this issue: that terrifying sensation where it feels as though everything is going to slip out is largely gone 😁. I was taking Advil for the first few days, but I no longer find it necessary. I eventually realized that applying creams or inserting anything internally was actually counterproductive—it just increased the pain level. Consequently, I shifted my strategy toward treating the fissure by softening my diet through nutrition.

I have been consuming yogurt mixed with flaxseed oil—an excellent suggestion made by a very bright mind in this group—and I must say, it works wonders! 🎉 Furthermore, I am focusing on softening my food intake: I eat soups, stews, and steamed vegetables, while strictly avoiding roasted meats and similar heavy foods. I can manage meat again now, but I make sure to follow it up with steamed vegetables the very next day. After a few days, I also started taking high-end probiotics, specifically BIO STRESS. I rely on those if I happen to miss a day; missing a day is unacceptable because we cannot risk a blockage forming. Therefore, I simply do not allow myself to go more than twenty-four hours without progress.

I consider this the key factor. If I feel my meal was even slightly too dry one day, I make it MANDATORY to drink the yogurt with flaxseed oil.

Should I happen to skip a day, I ensure I take the probiotic and attempt to include the flaxseed yogurt as well.

So, there you have it... everyone eventually discovers their own regimen that works for them.

The fissure itself isn't fully resolved yet, but I believe I am finally on the right path toward healing. My current concern is the potential for diarrhea following my third round of chemo. I am going to attempt to manage it without relying on unknown medication to stop it; perhaps it will subside after the second round and everything will stabilize. If that happens, I'll just stick to some light soup and hope for the best. We shall see... I am learning as I go.

Once again, thank you all so much for your input! 😘

Now, I can only hope that things become easier moving forward, now that I possess a better understanding of how to manage all of this. 😉

I was wondering if anyone here deals with grade 1 or 2 hemorrhoids. Is it actually okay to hit the gym? Should I be running or riding my bike?
Or am I supposed to avoid all of that entirely?
