restlesstiger102, you watched a movie where the vibe is everything... you really need to get lost in the story and just immerse yourself in it. So, how did you manage to jump on the forum to comment at the 40-minute mark?! :/
My favorite kind of people are those who decide to throw on a movie at 2:00 PM on a random weekday while they're busy cooking or doing something else entirely, and then turn around and say the movie isn't scary, or it's boring, or it makes no sense, etc., etc.
If you actually want to enjoy this movie properly, you have to set the right mood. It’s definitely not a movie for a group hang (unless you just want to laugh at the "stupid" scenes), it’s not a weekday afternoon flick, it’s not meant for a tiny screen, and it certainly isn't for low volume!

What do you mean "when"? It's already playing in theaters right now... 🙂

I watched it at one in the morning in a pitch-black room. What more could I possibly need? After forty minutes of pure boredom, I decided to leave my thoughts here.

I simply cannot immerse myself in something that is fundamentally flawed. You suggest I need loud audio? Honestly, if a movie relies on jump scares through sheer volume to frighten me, then it's a failure.

I honestly have no idea who this is supposed to scare... we aren't kids anymore. To me, it’s just pure comedy—honestly, I thought only Americans fell for this kind of stuff...

I'm a bit confused about a few things—in the trailer, there's a part where those two little girls are chanting "Bloody Mary," but I don't see that exact scene in the movie itself. It seems like they just have that moment where Katie calls out with that creepy look instead.
And then at the end... was that their grandmother climbing the stairs with them, or am I misremembering? Maybe they're some kind of witches or something. O.O

I actually watched the movie first and then the trailer, and honestly? The trailer looked way scarier because it throws in scenes that aren't even in the actual film. Plus, the whole plot basically gets spoiled in the trailer anyway.☕

Hopefully the second one hits harder than the first... the first part was pretty forgettable... They didn't even get to show all the scenes in theaters for the sequel because it was banned in 14 different states—god knows why 😁

Caught a movie last night. It was pretty good—definitely worth a watch—but I’m still scratching my head over how the whole thing kicked off, and honestly, that ending left me a little lost.

Have you had a chance to watch the first two installments?

I’m a little lost on how that ending actually worked.

SPOILER

Was the grandma actually a witch or something at the end? And who is Tobey, and what’s his deal with everything else going on?

I watched the first two movies in the series, but honestly, I don't remember them much at all. How exactly are these films connected? 🤔

The third installment really ties everything together—I’m genuinely looking forward to seeing where they go next 🙂 I have to admit, I’ve become quite a fan of the PA series. The first one was great, the second felt a little slow for my taste, but the third was solid. Is there any way we can get a fourth installment sooner? 😲

Since you're such a huge fan, maybe you could walk me through how the trilogy actually connects? I’ve completely lost the thread of what happened in the first two movies. 😁

It’ll be me. I haven't actually sat down to watch the third one yet, but from what I can gather, it focuses on Katie and Kristi back when they were just ten-year-old kids—the point where everything supposedly started spiraling.🤔

I watched them about a year ago—so my memory isn't exactly perfect—but the story is definitely far from over. It turns out the grandmother of those two sisters belongs to some kind of witch cult (we aren't quite sure which one, and we still don't know who Tobey is)—in the third part, the firstborn son of the sisters is taken (why exactly? I can't recall, or maybe we just don't know yet?)—which ties back to the second part, where the sister who was demonized in the first film takes the older sister's child—and the first part shows how the younger sister becomes possessed and kills her boyfriend. (The first film actually has three different endings; I've seen them all, and my favorite is the one where she stares right into the camera with that distorted face... ugh...)

Anyway, there's probably a better breakdown online since it’s been a while since I watched them. Hopefully, the upcoming sequels will finally fill in those narrative gaps. Cannot wait 🙂
